THIS! This has been my heart for two years now. The Lord has pressed it into my heart to be aware and SPEAK OUT! The church has mixture, and individually we were called to be church, gathering is something separate and for the saints! I am praying God continues to use you both to do great and mighty things in Jesus Name!

Years ago the father of an old school friend told me that the church we were in started growing when he became a Christian. The crazy thing was that he was the minister and had become a Christian after spending time in training college and an apprenticeship. It was a retired missionary in the congregation who prayed for them then led them to Lord.

Aww thanks! That's super encouraging. We sincerely sought God before we started doing this. We have been preaching this for years in person but felt now was the time to begin this discussion publicly for those who are going and have gone through the same experience!

I heard the Good News at Easter in a Catholic Church lol (that I later found out preaches questionnable things) and God melted my heart. It took a bit for me to get to a place of fully surrendering, but it started in the pews at Church for me. I think it's what makes me so passionate about evangelism, and reaching out to the lost. I didn't know a single Christian who loved on me when I came to Christ. So I have a hard time accepting that evangelism is just loving on those around us. Thank you for sharing your views :)

Amen! This also is something my wife and I and our fellowship have come to believe.
    Consider also Acts 5:12-14:
(Note: this is right after the story about Ananias and Saphira!)
"12 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. 13 None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. 14 And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women"
    (1) "None of the rest dared join them"
    (2) "And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women"
Both of these statements are true. When the Church is functioning as it should, walking in the fear of the Lord, demonstrating the power of the Gospel, preaching the worth of Jesus and the coming of His Kingdom, etc., then those who hear the word of the Cross and interpret it as foolishness (those who are perishing) want nothing to do with this community. But those who believe the word of the Cross are brought into the fold in great numbers because the harvest is plentiful!

Praise God for your courage to rock the boat of man's doctrines and "fancy" gimmicks. It's an old boat built with a solid man-made structure and won't be shaken easily. For those who have ears, let them hear.

My name is Isaac, I came out of a church for other reasons but knowing at the same time that something is off while serving there, even as youth pastor, it just does not line up with the book of acts shows and what christ declared in the gospels. I did not line up. Me and my house hold are now attending another bigger church for just over a year, and again, it doesn't seem right. We are stuck in the milk of things cause we are always appealing to the unbeliever when it comes to Sunday church. Not to give me an excuse of not going deeper into the meat of things, cause I always had Gods word and the spirit to rely on to teach me into all the truth, which is a truth i just recently started to grasp and hold on too now more then ever, but I was relying on these pastors to lead me and my wife further as a deciple, and again , not to say that God didnt reveal or open my eyes to things I heard from the pastors but it was always brought back to the milk of things. It actually subdued me from living in the power of the spirit. All that to say that I am eager to be a true diciple but need people of the truth to be around to encourage me and I to them in truth, serving one another in the body. So I ask if you could pray for me that would be much appreciated.

Absolutely, thanks for sharing your story Isaac. I will be praying for you. My wife and I were in a similar place and I remember not having any people around us that were on the same page. We consistently prayed for the Lord to send people in our path and focused on obeying what we saw clearly in the scriptures. Eventually God began connecting us with people and those around us started asking questions and became more open to Church as we see in the book of Acts. In the mean time I devoured books like “Organic Church” by Neil Cole which helped me navigate that season and really gain an understanding for what Church truly is. Stay the course and don’t give up! God Bless!

Also books by Tony and Felicity Dale as well as Wolfgang Simson are all great resources

The part about unbelievers is true. Jude covers this perfectly. They creep in and infect the body. Jentzen Franklin preached on Jude in a mega church and it was refreshing. From what I hear almost half the congregation left. I don’t know what happened but he switched up and it is awesome. No one preaches on Jude, which speaks about contending for the faith.
The fear of the Lord is also completely gone.

How could one connect with you both? I'd be willing to pay, as I know your time is valuable, and I would like to experience more deliverancefrom someone trustworthy (like yourselves) as I am 100% confident that the Lord has made me more sensitive and I know I need connection with a fellow member of the body to help me with this, so I can walk out gods call on my life.
I pray right now for you both and your marriage your family and I ask our heavenly father to bless your leadership in Jesus mighty name. Thank you for what you're doing, and I hope you'll reach back out. ♡

I can agree with most of what you guys are saying; however; there’s a difference between Justification, Salvation, Sanctification, Discipleship, Fruits, Rewards and your “responsibilities “ in heaven.
I’m counting on the “Root” (Jesus) not my fruit for eternity.
    We are believers not achievers

I have been feeling this way for a while but never heard this teaching. I feel like my church is really just speaking to the lost. It doesn't seem to go deeper into the scriptures, and really brushes over becoming holy through repentance. It's really just hard to find a good church. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to find a church like this?

  • @ErikaFlores-px9gs
    @ErikaFlores-px9gs 2 місяці тому

Hi ! Thks for this teaching … I need help . Am I a real believer!? Yes but I don’t know if I’m not doing His mandate and keep yelling at other drivers or treat my family members wrong .. but my heart has good intentions… 😳

    • @smalliehound
      @smalliehound 2 місяці тому

Unfortunately, following Christ has nothing to do with good intentions or fulfilling some sort of mandate .
If you're a born-again believer and have put your full faith (trust) in Christ and have surrendered your whole life (worship) to Him, there will be an inner witness by the Holy Spirit to your spirit that you're a child of God. It comes in the form of a deep longing to know God. Regardless of the cost, you must know Him more. There may be many stumbling blocks in the way. But, you push on because of the privilege to actually be loved by such a magnificent God. If this is the case, the Lord is calling you into a deeper relationship with Him that will bare much fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life. You and your family will notice when this fruit begins to ripen. I personally suggest just sitting with Him and talking to Him about it. Put away any prayer lists, devotionals, and such for a time and just be with Him. The Holy Spirit is more than capable of speaking to your heart. Most often through His word. Sometimes, it is directly but always confirmed by His word.
If it is not the case, It would seem that the Holy Spirit has you on the pathway of salvation. And again, the Holy Spirit is more than capable of revealing this amazing Christ to your heart. I would suggest the same course of action. Talk to Him about what you're struggling with and that you want to know Him as Lord. He's faithful and will answer these prayers.

And taking the Eucharist. Which we don’t do. This bread and wine being remembrance, was an early church heresy. Look that up! And then during the reformation it was welcomed with open arms. The Eucharist was to be given EVERY time we met together. And isn’t for nonbelievers. (Pegans then). I will try to find the reference, but this would include why it’s important.

Guys..I was led to your podcast just in the right season in my life.
Lord led me out of the church institution..into the dessert..and started speaking to me about the churvh setting..than I met an old friend, who told me: I think that God us about to lead you into building something new/old.
And than your podcast pooped up. XD.
I am so burdened by everything..cause I see people in the church institution who genuenly Love God, and are soo anointed and kind...but they all speak this language..that I can see- is like a programming thing...that bears no fruit..it sounds super spiritual ..but it makes no sence. ...
I just wanna do whats right..and if u try and do it in a chruch institution kind of setting..it DOESNT WORK...U can try for some time..but it just makes u numb again...
I was on a prophetic seminar, few weeks ago..and it was awesome- Biblical foundations of how to prophecy and build up the church...after the seminar was over...the curch went back to its old way of doing things????
So what is the point of having seminars at all, if youre not planning on applying any of it?
    Ufhhhhh..
    Just keep going guys..great job..God bless u

There are many issues that cause bad or the lack of discipleship in the body. The first and foremost of these issues are the discounting of scripture. Christianity, for many, many years, has separated the OT and NT as two different worlds meant for two completely different people. A rule to remember when reading and teaching scripture is; Scripture should never contradict itself. What you are reading and interpreting in the NT should never contradict what it says in the OT, and vice versa. Either the scriptures are the God breathed, infallible word of Yahweh, or it's not. God's grace and word is the same from the beginning of time through today, it has not changed nor has His requirement for His children.
