Ali, no tree ever used a tape measure on itself. A vice is just a heavy clamp, bolted to a table. Improv clamp is excellent. More Bon-Sigh than Bonsai (hehe) Tree looks great.
Love the outcome! And I can’t believe people would skip to the ending without watching the process. The process is fin to watch! And just think of the puns they miss! Signed, a forever full video pally
To make large amounts of paper pulp. I use a garbage disposal with a bucket on top and a garden hose for water. Can make about 5 gallon bucket in 15 minutes. Love your sculpture!
Ali, this is unbelievable! I am always impressed with your perseverance. Hat’s off to you for turning all that trash into something beautiful. I look forward to seeing what you do next.
Great work Ali! Logically the next step is to make some art with the blenders that died to make this project happen. Or maybe a bicycle powered blender so you don't have to skip leg day next time ;)
I love that you show the whole creative process - both the ups and downs. As a creative type myself, it is so easy to compare my journey to other people's final product.
I always find art projects that look *terrible* in the middle always feel the most satisfying when they resolve themselves along the way as part of the process. Ali is a true pop artist.
Top Tip: Next time you're cutting tubing on your table lay the tubing in the grooves rather than across them, they will help hold it in place even better with the clamps etc. :)
why I show Ali videos to my kids sparingly: because the vast majority of us actually need to plan to create something like this. why I show my kids Ali videos as much as possible: most of us struggle to turn challenges on their head and find creative solutions resulting in unplanned yet brilliant results.
What an adventure!! The finished product is definitely worthwhile though! I loved how quickly you were able to adjust while keeping true to the main idea behind your project, too!
I really, really, really love and appreciate the fact you thought to do this rather than throwing those boxed in the trash because when I was watching you pop socket car video, I couldn't help but think (as you spent HOURS UPON HOURS UNBOXING!!) That I didn't want to see all those boxes end up wasted! You are constantly surprising me with your ideas and talent and I wish I could work with you because I have IDEAS GALORE, But I don't have the means to do anything about all my ideas...which def leads to depression 😩😞😔🥺
That looks really great. If it will last, I'd recommend some kind of a sealant, you could auction it off to viewers for a local pickup. Then put the money towards your next crazy adventure & get that big beautiful bonsai tree out of your house. If you haven't already. Or had it drop dead immediately after the video.
This has to be my favorite art project video of yours! Not only was the final product beautiful, it was a great use of your packaging waste (and I hope you'll use the rest of the stuff someday too), and had so many things go wrong along the way which was just funny to watch. Here you went forward in a particularly unplanned fashion, which just heightened the outrageousness and even led to a more uniquely beautiful result. And I nearly spit out my drink when you pulled out the 3rd blender! Great job! That tree should be sold and sit in the reception of a nice building.
my wife said she does not need a mixer for art because we have a cement mixer. Now as for your tree falling over, do you remember cable tieing the pipe to the base. Well you needed to add more diagnonal pipe to keep it in place. Now to stop the pipe twisting, drill holes at the joints and use skewers to stop the pipe twisting. So that way you can change iit which is the Ali way
I'm 2 minutes in and I already love the video just wanted to say for future projects a neat trick takes sawdust mix it with watered down paint and microwave it and you get this you get this fluffy colored stuff you can use for Greenery and texture for grass for leaves for whatever using thicker pieces of sawdust can give you bigger leaves and thinner pieces can give you finer texture I've seen videos of it on UA-cam if you look them up. It called home made flocking
When I have to make large amounts of pulp I soak the paper (of all kinds, including cardboard) in a baby pool and stomp on it like traditional wine makers do to grapes. Once it breaks down abit I use a paint mixer on a drill and mix it in a 5 gallon bucket. I prefer a cardboard armature like Jonni but don't work as big as you do, although I want to. Love your puns.
That's really awesome and I live in a very artistic town in every sense of the word one of our sculptures we have for decorating our street is a gigantic head made from branches so it can return to where it once came.
I cant beleave you used the papermasha/ pulp idear and so many others sejested it to...next time If you put a heater and somthing to take the monster out of it and help it dry faster! And it is so stuning cant whate to see what you do next!❤❤❤
In case you missed whyyyy I have all these trash boxes ua-cam.com/video/DT4A9T2RPBU/v-deo.html

Tree looks great.
I’m disappointed you didn’t add Chia seeds, that would’ve been epic
you have done a treerrific job, wish I had the patience, I see that your dog is jealous of the bark!
Can you make a giant bonsai chia tree?
As someone that works for a tree nonprofit, this made me unreasonably happy! Now I need something like this for our office.
Come pick it up in LA and it's all yours!
@@alispagnola please film this!
Girl you ever see her comment 👀 because that would be awesome
What does your tree nonprofit do and what's it called?!
Did they get the tree? 😅
Wow. You are a talented artist, Ali. The use of the pop socket backing as leaves looks Great! Your time well wasted. 🤣
Haha so glad to hear you think so
This one had me saying, "That's so cool!" out loud, multiple times! I just love your creativity and perseverance.
YAY!!
You should have an exhibition with all of these creations so the public can see them all at once. You rock! Always look forward to your videos.
Love the outcome! And I can’t believe people would skip to the ending without watching the process. The process is fin to watch! And just think of the puns they miss!

Awww man you missed a great opportunitree there...unbeleafable! Lol 😂
Big props to Ali's roommate for putting up with Ali's outrageous projects.
She's her girlfriend now, so she kind of has to.
I'm legit always impressed when I see you cut through that piece of 1/2" plywood with a dremel! Awesome sculpture too!
YAS! So glad you found Jonnie and Ultimate Paper Mache
Great work Ali! Logically the next step is to make some art with the blenders that died to make this project happen. Or maybe a bicycle powered blender so you don't have to skip leg day next time ;)
That is a great idea!
Does Ali do gears and stuff? (Hooking up the bike)
Make outrageous art with the broken blenders!!
I love that you show the whole creative process - both the ups and downs. As a creative type myself, it is so easy to compare my journey to other people's final product.

Thank you for being awesome and doing what you do. You make me, and I imagine ever so many other people, so happy 😊
ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!! Oh my gosh! Great find with the circles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is amazing!!!
why I show Ali videos to my kids sparingly: because the vast majority of us actually need to plan to create something like this.

Hahaha I love this so much
Using those things for the leaves was brilliant and they look so cool!
One Popsocket leafed Bonsai tree. Awesome artwork Ali.
This video was blossoming with puns. I don’t think you could leaf any opportunity unmatched
When we find ourselves in times of troubles
Our pally Ali creates a tree 🙂
Sharing images of vision🌞
We can see a bonsai tree🕊️

2 Words.
Absolutely. Incredible.
Her puns are hilarious 😂❤️
Stunning! How is your channel not more famous. Love your work!!!
The pun density in this video is unbeleafable.
This is a wildly underrated comment
I be-leaf this is one of my favorite Outrageous Ally Creations! 😍
What an adventure!! The finished product is definitely worthwhile though! I loved how quickly you were able to adjust while keeping true to the main idea behind your project, too!
Thank you for joining me on the adventure!!
Ali you need to be a resident artist at a museum somewhere
"Always go bigger!!" ... "NEVER go bigger!!!" 😉
I really, really, really love and appreciate the fact you thought to do this rather than throwing those boxed in the trash because when I was watching you pop socket car video, I couldn't help but think (as you spent HOURS UPON HOURS UNBOXING!!) WOW just WOW that is so pretty!!! I am amazed you did that with just leftover cardboard and pop socket peel backings.
Birch please 😂
This turned out great! I always enjoy watching you committing art 🎨 🌳
Paint is always finicky. Love the tree.
That looks really great. If it will last, I'd recommend some kind of a sealant, you could auction it off to viewers for a local pickup.
Then put the money towards your next crazy adventure & get that big beautiful bonsai tree out of your house. If you haven't already.

Came for the puns and kept rooted for the art. Another successful outrageous art project in the book.
Ali, as always, just... YES.
For the tree pun to video ratio alone here, this is pure gold.
Petrified bonsai! Lovely :-)
Birch please! What an awesome use of all that trash.
Awesome! You could put it on a shirt and sell it as birchandise!
I WANT A MINI ONE!!! NOW I CAN ACTUALLY HAVE A REASON TO COLLECT TRASH!!!
That looks AMAZING Ally!!!
Who is woching this in 2024
0:58 “measure zero times” yes thank you for reminding me phew! I would’ve accidentally measured thanks to you for saving me 😌
Tree-mendous. that seriously rocks. i love it.
I love Joanie! She sells books on this too
The amount of effort you put in this video is indescribable
I like that you fir-severe even when it looks like it won't be oak-ay
Would look awesome with lights illuminating leaves. 💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡
Your tree turned out so beautiful!!!
Can we please talk about how this woman goes through all this hard work and pain just to entertain us?
More people have to see this! Your stuff is amazing
That is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Wow dude this is beautiful and honestly belongs in a museum
Unfortunately I believe your first method of mulching the cardboard would have worked, in a bucket of water, next time. P.s I love your art
This has to be my favorite art project video of yours! this is the coolest thing you've ever made! Its beautiful!
You woodnt believe how amazing that tree looks
Love it! It’s so pretty! It’s Tree-riffic. 😉
I think this may be my favorite piece you've ever done! It's so beautiful!
Ali.. You really need to buy a paper shredder...maybe a cement mixer...
It was obvious that you'd do this. One might say Ali-men-tree.
So excited to see this one!
Wow. Just WOW. That turned out brilliantly well. I was not expecting the shimmery leaves. What a bright idea!
I am so glad we, the viewers, have Christine giving the “WTF” commentary in your videos now 😂! What a great way to repurpose all this trash!
my wife said she does not need a mixer for art because we have a cement mixer. Now as for your tree falling over, do you remember cable tieing the pipe to the base. Another treesome video two leaves up
My teacher said, "Yay big" is minnesota Type of way of measuring😂
"Birch please" was the best one ;)

I love your tree puns so much
Sis literally made my day with everyyyyy single tree joke she madeee🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭❤️❤️
Great work as always Ali!! What a tree-t!
We love a reclaim queen .
I do love your outrageous creations. The tree is awesome but I think you should have invested in a paper shredder rather than 3 blenders!!
Tremendous!! It turned out so cool!!
Another awesome successfull project. I love this project as well as all of your other projects. Keep arting.
For next time. You may want to get a shredder for the large cardboard. It would make your job easier.
We all know making art is branching 🌳
Extremely creative tons of work but looks amazing
It looks fantastic!
I cannot beleaf the work you do! Amazing!
