This song was freaking awesome
This song originated as "homework" given by Kanami to the rest of the band. She said for each member to come up with a part and then she put the pieces together to form this track. The emphasis of the video was to show off the musicianship, only real look at faces is the beautiful harmonies towards the end. Thanks for reacting, this is one of my favorites, so many neat musical things going on. 🤘

I really liked how they didn't show the band member's faces, instead focusing on their musicianship.
I mean that's a valid viewpoint. It was just a little too dark to see much. But the lights were a cool effect

However, for most listeners, it requires multiple listens to fully deconstruct the many layerings and complexities and to truly appreciate the genius composition of the song. Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

It's the Day of Maid, because in Japanese you can also pronounce 10 as "doe". Hence, May 10 can be pronounced "Mei-do" or maid.

Good job on the names and notes! It’s a lot of fun to read more about them because it really is a fairytale story come true.
For insight, “san” and "chan" are added to the ends of names as a way of expressing intimacy and respect in Japanese. “Chan" is for girls or young women, often amongst friendships like the Maids have. “San” is for anyone and is most respectful, so if I were to ever meet Saiki? After I regained consciousness, I would call her “Saiki-san.”
It might be because it's the music video rather than a live performance or something. I do always include the link to the video in the description. Oh right. I do remember hearing things about "san" and "chan" when I watched Dragonball Super subbed

The fact that BAND-MAID's music videos often show their hands and instruments playing, rather than their faces, feels like an attempt to claim that they are a rock band. I feel like they're saying that they want people to see the beauty of their songs and performances as musicians, rather than the beauty, cuteness, and sexiness of women. However, their beauty, cuteness, and sincerity are a big bonus for their fans.

Band-Maid songs have been used in some anime before.
You need to check out some official live videos to get the full Band-Maid experience. The last few videos that they released have been from their 10th Anniversary Tour finale at Yokohama arena. That might be a good way to start into it.

I would be interested to see you and your friends react to any of those. Endless Story is the last song of that 3 1/2 hour Yokohama show, and a tear jerker. Hate and Don't You Tell ME are fairly heavy with guitar vs bass duels included. Unleash is more of a catchy tune to my ears. You might also want to watch the OMV for Unleash because it is partially done in Anime. Have fun with it!

You don't have to worry about being blocked on their official videos. You don't have to worry about getting strikes. Band Maid loves Reactors. If they recognize you at their concerts, they will give you a shout out. At times if they meet Reactors, they sometimes seem in awe. I have never seen another band that loves their fans more than they do.
I mean I ran into some issues with copyright and this was just the way it accepted it. I might just stick to live performances for the future

I don't know why you got blocked. No one else was. But this should have been a Anime Theme Song. They've done a few. Try 'Shambles' from the season two closer for Kengan Ashura. That's one of theirs. They also have a Music Video in anime format for 'Unleashed'.
I have no clue. The other 3 videos I did were Official Live Videos and they were mostly fine. Maybe just in case I stick to those instead of checking out music videos. That's just how the copyright Russian roulette goes.
The video is trying to match the song title. They're gradually being revealed like a flower blooming.

True, but many people have mentioned liking bananas, so I included it. Mincho is a phenomenal guitarist as well
