Blooming actually is the song that won my Son over to Band Maid. And he is a complete metal head. Another one bites the dust.
It's funny that you both mentioned Driving. lol Blooming was in the movie Kate that is on Netflix and it's during a driving chase scene.
"Blooming" is what I'd call a perfect rock song.

Funny you mentioned that they would have fun putting together this song. On the contrary, Kanamincho-sensei gave an assignment for each member to come up with a chorus from her initial demo. The catch was that they were given a timeline to complete the assignment. It was like homework. But, ultimately it became one of their most memorable pieces, probably top 3 in many playlists, Po! If I remember correctly, Kanami mentioned this during an interview. 🦍🍌 From the MusicVoice interview on 2019-12-11: Kanami: "We also tried a new thing in Blooming. I asked Misa to send me a lot of bass phrases in the beginning of this year, and I picked up one of them as an intro and expanded it from there. After writing instrumentals, I asked my bandmates to write melodies of the chorus. They sent me in various ways such as voice memos. The part of “far away” is what Kobato wrote for the chorus and I inserted it in a different position."

I guess you got the student model SE custom 24 build in Asia, which is a budget line of the original customs 24 and are available for under $ 1000 new. Absolutely no way you get an original Custom 24 Kanami is endorsed with for that price, except the guitar dealer is blind, deaf, uneducated and high on drugs 😊 But no worry the SE line are still excellent guitars to.
Band-Maid is certainly one of the rare female rock bands to do what they want to do. Sometimes at the risk of not pleasing certain fans. They compose, arrange and write and produce their songs themselves in a direction that they have decided together. None of their albums are the same. These girls have balls if I may say so. My favorite band above all. Blooming is a fucking awesome punky-rock banger. Thanks John. Have a good time in Hong Kong with the Maids.😉

I think Saiki-sama takes a big breath before she starts this song and then manages to make it last all the way through ths song. I can't see how she has time to take a breath otherwise.

For so many of Band Maid songs they feel nostalgic while I am listening to it for the first time.

I saw Band-Maid in Houston in October, then Welcome to Rockville in Daytona in May, and then Denver in August a week later I got fired from my job, but before that I was excited and order some fan made coins, and then canceled the order because I couldn't afford them. Today I went to the post office and found the coins, so I've been pretty "Thrilled" today. But your video gave me the impression that you less then pure motives... we're called Maidiacs for a reason. Dude I watch 10 reactions a day to promote the Maids, play music, and show videos to anyone, and everyone. I have 20 years of working in television, all the music your trying to make a business out of is already part of my DNA. I liked you, so I subscribed to give you encouragement, but what do I get if you if your just exploiting the situation? There is a community that I'm sure gave your channel a boost your first reaction, what do they get? I do want to see the scene out of Japan blow up, but you can only understand the significance of Band-Maid if you understand what Mtv killed. Before Mtv bands all tried to have a new and unique sound, after Mtv is all about money thus the term "sell out" someone sending me some cool memorabilia for free is the good good, after all I did get an autograph picture, and a Miku guitar pick on my journey.
I love, love, love Band-Maid, I like Nemophila, Lovebites is cool too bonus points to Lovebites for being at the Yokohama show tho. And as you have learned there's a tsunami of rock act in Japan. Band-Maid has the broadest appeal the spearhead. What's your foundation, what is love? As Nemophila puts it.
When I was in Denver the night before the show I had a dream of Indians with tribal feathers, and war paint, and I was on a bluff dressed the same way. In reality I was on an 8th story balcony overlooking the performance venue looking down on people in line all day, after the show while talking to people I realized I found my tribe!
