You have the best videos on orchids. Great job educating the rest of us. Thank you for all your time and effort. I wish I could buy your orchids. I am in the states
Omw, I have all of these on my orchids. I use sea grow 1 week, and then I make a mixture the following week with salt( corse ) molasses and orchid food from afri Orchids 😮😮😮😮but granted I have been a bit lazy lately. Not feeding as much. Used to do it weekly now ,maybe 2x a month when I get time. Been a little busy. But I think I need to get out in the garden soon. 🎉🎉thanks for this video 😊
Wow! This video was extremely helpful and informative! I have few phals that have the yellowing around the leaf margins, and it's been driving me nuts trying to find info about the cause. I was so worried it was some ghastly fungi or disease!😵😩😫 What a relief! But I am a bit bewildered since I fert regularly and add cal/mag and epsom salts to my orchid fert. I do the 'weakly weekly' method- never follow the recommended amounts--so maybe I need to bump up my dosages. This was so helpful and interesting, Peter! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise w us!😊🌺🌺☺
You are so welcome , I hope I made sense in this video lol , I missed saying some of the stuff i wanted to because my pea sized brain can only think of one thing at a time🤣
if you are looking for that extra potassium boost you can use this recipe for a homemade fertilizer ua-cam.com/video/r43PuDI9HZc/v-deo.htmlsi=WkQ4MKSwB2nCZ2cM or if you perfer the shop bought chemical fertilizers keep a small amount of a blooming fertilizer around one with a higher K value in the NPK 👍
Hello my name is Frances and I live in Urunga NSW Australia my question is I’ve got a coelogyne oval is which is flowering but the leaves have got black spots please advise I don’t want to loose my orchid I’ve had it for a long time
On coelogyne your most common leaf spot problem is going to be anthracnose here is a video we did on it ua-cam.com/video/I4BY-E9EEnE/v-deo.htmlsi=vqVZbBM04ioK-XMB

what is the best npk ratio?
a generalized orchid feed is often enough in the required doses

I guess I should be feeding more regularly
be sure to keep your fertilization balanced
But what to do?
feed your orchids with the required nutrients , if you need further help you can join our buymeacoffee community
Yellowing Orchid leaves are probably one of the most common orchid problems
it is indeed
