Hey Matt or Tim! Just throwing a suggestion out their. I think it would be helpful if you did an underwater video but also put another camera angle on yourself on the boat. And put the videos side by side and we can see what the different baits and lures do with different rod retrieves. Thanks so much for all you guys do we all appreciate it. Ive learned a ton and look forward to your guys videos. Thanks
I'm a beginner in fishing. the underwater footage of the bait in action is everything from a beginners perspective. extremely helpful. thanks 4 sharing. God bless you and your channel
I’ve had so much success with the Megabass Vision 110 series. Worth the money in my opinion. Yeah, that +1 version has crazy action. My son loves his gill colored tournament version of the Vision 110. Last spawning season, he was able to almost get every spawning bass he went after to viciously hit this thing, whenever it came too close to the bed. Hard rip, then at least a 2 count or more before the next twitch. Those bass went nuts when he did that! It’s as if they get seriously offended that any fish would have the “balls” to invade their territory so brazenly. There’s no better way to explain their reactions to this presentation. My son would probably scold me for giving away one of our secret baits during the spawn, lol.
Yes Matt and Tim I just wanted add my thoughts on this video and say thank you for the great work that you guys put into your entire channel. There is definitely love in the work that you do, instructing your followers with the aim of making us better so that we will love this sport as well.
Thank you Matt once again for sharing your time energy observations and wisdom helping us piece together the puzzle of becoming an angler much appreciated and grateful for all you do Aloha from the Great Lakes
I know this really has nothing to do with the video, but I had my best day of fishing EVER on Friday. I caught my first 20lb bag, which I know isn't crazy, but it is for me where I live (Central VA). The sad part about the day is that I lost a 7ish pounder and my buddy lost one between 8-10. We could have broken the dirty thirty together if we would have executed a little bit better. Thankfully, I was still able to catch three fish over 5 pounds in one day which is UNREAL for me. So pumped to have been in the right place at the right time. I've never seen the big girls come out to play all at once like that.
@@michaelwise5353 I caught most of my fish on a jig with a zoom big salty chunk trailer. Green pumpkin with chartruese dye on the tips of the trailer. I also caught a few on a jackhammer chatterbait, and a few on a squarebill as well. My buddy caught some on the shakeyhead, brush-hog, and structure bug. They were biting darn near everything we put in front of them. It was incredible.
As a late arriver, late bloomer to this video, Kudos and ThankYou! I learned a lot. As a homespun lure producer I learned where the strikes were and which hooks they were on, hint hint. And I'm so glad I don't have to put that silly bill on my lip-less productions. Again this video was over the top for one who produces their own baits. Tight Lines.
Awesome video! Can’t believe I’m so late to this video. I’ve seen so many of your other ones. The mega bass + 1 seemed to jump almost with the erratic action.
One of your best videos yet, and I watch them all. Great job! My wife doesn’t understand why TW boxes keep getting delivered to the house. I might need intervention.
Awesome video as usual. Every time I watch the underwater footage it blows me away how much sound travels through the water. Did you guys tune these with heavier hooks? I noticed how some sit parallel to the surface and some were extremely nose down at rest. On the content...this is my favorite, combined action demonstration and catching.
Looks like they may have. Read the description by clicking the arrow next to video title and scroll down. Hook and ring upgrading are recommended in the description, but I'm uncertain if implementation was made for this video or not.
6th Sense Provoke is my choice. Caught a 4 pounder today on one. I've taken other fish including perch and even a bluegill about the same length as the bait.
Still would keep my L.C. baits as #1, although I agree, the Megabass +1 looked great, I may consider grabbing a couple of those..Great video as usual..
In the first videos you can see how far the fish come to hit the bait. I used a 7” while musky fishing in Canada. Warm clear water. Did great. This had to take a lot of time and work to put together Thx. New subscriber here
Agreed, MB vision 110 +1 looked best. Another jerkbait I’ve also liked is the IMA flit. Good stuff here, never take that jerkbait off, tied on pretty much year round.
Awesome video. I'm a jerkbait junkie and I'm pretty happy my favorite JB wasnt listed ;). I love the Pointers, they were the first high end Jerkbaits I began fishing. They are amazing and will always be. Megabass 110s are spectacular and are a work of art but that thin bill, though designed to perfect the action is not durable, disappointing for a 25 dollar bait. But like you mentioned, all these Jerkbaits are excellent and excel in different situations. I've outfished a MB 110 user 5:1 with my favorite jerkbait but I've also been outfished by a Shadow Rap 3:1 later in the spring bite. Best advice is, buy them all 🤣🤣🤣
Lucky crafts pointer Sp tri-hook jerkbait is one of the biggest jerkbaits I’ve ever seen and my dad has caught multiple 8+ pounders on it, the color “northern yellow perch” hits hard in the Midwest Chicago region.
Please do this style of under water video with the different brands of soft Jerk baits aka flukes for example reaction innovation, strike king and zoom it would be super cool to see the subtle differences between the different brands and you could also throw in the magnum options as well it would be cool to see sink rates and other things like subtle tail movements and stuff
Looks like the jerkbait was "staring" at him and the bass noticed. When the jerkbait moved he doubled back and came up underneath it with a surprise attack.
I’m not sure what they do but I use the ‘ol Rapala loop knot on suspending jerk baits. It’s a harder knot to tie correctly but I think it adds better action. With braided line I put a drop of super glue on the knot & have gained more confidence in the knot. I have bent hooks straight with strippers & the loop knot still holds! With thicker mono the loop knot doesn’t work as well for me? Tight lines 🎣 ✌️🤟🤙
Interested to know what line you were throwing on? Some baits went nose up and some went nose down. If you were throwing mono leader I wonder if the nose up baits would be nose down or neutral on fluorocarbon??? Great vid guys
It's not easy to copy what MB has made and how it performs in. Provoke 106's are great, but they catch fish nicely. Each are good when fish are hungry. The MB is a more proven bait over time. Give it time and maybe it will catch up, if not, I will still buy a Provoke and use it because it works and is affordable, which ought to be the bottom line for us all. 4mm difference changes the way a bait functions and flash. Not copied at all really.
I caught my PB bluegill 1.52 lbs on a vision 110 this spring...cant wait for the hard jerkbait bite to take off. Theyre already killing the weightless flukes and weightless tubes
I really like these style of videos. Have you guys done one for jigs? As for what jerkbit I liked, well I gotta with the Rapala Ripstop and the Stacey 90
I am now more into jerkbaits than shallow/mid range cranks and square bills. I use them all but the variety of sizes, colors, depths and actions make jerks more appealing and offer more presentations than ever before. Your video just confirms my evolution into jerk baits.
Hey for the follow up video to this one. Can y’all please show us a duel screen of the bait underwater and someone on the boat to show us how much the baits need to be ripped.
I love to see a split screen of y’all’s movement of the rod with the underwater footage, but you guys are great I love it!!
No one else does underwater footage like Matt and Tim.
Easily the best fishing channel on UA-cam.....and it's not even that close.
When I’m fishing I hear Matt’s voice in my head 🎣
brettg2309 lmao
No joke
😅
Dude same here,when I'm throwing a jerk bait..RIP pause,RIP RIP pause...RIP pause
Me to brother. When I get a bite on swimbait its like drive that hooksett home, now reel reel reel reel boat flip!!!!! Picture time!!!!
Hey Matt or Tim! Just throwing a suggestion out their. I think it would be helpful if you did an underwater video but also put another camera angle on yourself on the boat. And put the videos side by side and we can see what the different baits and lures do with different rod retrieves.

100%
Yes please!! That's what every fishing video is missing!!
@@TattooBlue602 yes!
And also have a drone shot overhead for cinematic shots, and also a professional voiceover artist to provide narration, thanks.
Mega bass 110 +1 looked amazing
This is the most epic jerkbait presentation video in YT. Very, very well done and thanks for these amazing impressions!
These videos really show you techniques on fishing different lures. You couldn't get this without underwater footage. Awesome dude!
I'm a beginner in fishing. the underwater footage of the bait in action is everything from a beginners perspective. extremely helpful. thanks 4 sharing. God bless you and your channel
That footage is so cool 1 - demonstrates the action and how those fish take it...from the side almost always 2 - The PAUSE how crucial - Thanks!
That bass hitting that vision 110 was amazing!
Thanks guys! Loved the Rerange and Megabas plus 1 for reason you mentioned. Great video and can't wait for the next you'll both do on each baits!

Love the underwater videos! Makes me want to head out to the water!!!

Best fishing video on youtube.
More please!
I see now why the Megabass is so popular!
I agree!

Wow man congrats! What baits were you using?
Any day you catch 20 you did something special. Don’t matter where your at

@@drumandball wow thats cool, I have yet to have a day like that
That jackall looks so amazing
Jay Thojj I love that lure! It straight catches
Looking forward to the "how to" video. Thanks for all the awesome information!
That StaySee 90 looked phenomenal! Thank you for the footage. That’s my next jerkbait to get now.
As usual, very informative. Keepem coming
Thanks for taking the time for making these videos.
Good video. Liked seeing the action. 👍
Thanks for the video. Love the underwater footage. I do wish the 6th Sense Provoke was in the vid.

This is my favorite underwater video.
Matt and Tim, are the buyers guides coming back this year? They’re so helpful please make them again!
Thank you very much for your work !!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, Matt! Those jerk bait videos were awesome to see and you do your videos so well!
Holy sh.... That bass was sooo fast hitting that vision! I had to watch that 3 time's!!! Winter in New England. I love to dig in to these old videos
Awesome video! Can’t believe I’m so late to this video. I’ve seen so many of your other ones. The mega bass + 1 seemed to jump almost with the erratic action.
4:48 the bass was like no way then he acted like nooo then he took a 2nd look 😹
Good Morning Tactical Bassin Family! There's no way I'm able to pick a favorite jerkbait. They are my weakness......
One of your best videos yet, and I watch them all. Great job! My wife doesn’t understand why TW boxes keep getting delivered to the house. I might need intervention.
I reaction struck at that Ripstop. Hit my nose on the screen. 😂
This is such an amazing video!
Thanks for the steady information.
Greatness in one video... Loved it
Superb video 👍👍👍👍
Congrats on 600k subscribers! This video is awesome.
The megabass vision 110+1 has some great action

Nice! beauty strike 🐋
This is a dope video man. Very useful
Would have like too seen the 6th sense provoke!
Agreed. Love 6th Sense!
6th Sense Provoke is my choice. Caught a 4 pounder today on one. I've taken other fish including perch and even a bluegill about the same length as the bait.
Mega bass takes the cake but man I love that Rerange!!
I've started fishing nothing but the lucky craft lighting 98xr. It's nice not having to worry about losing a $25 bait.
Braid to flouro does all the 6th sense jerkbaits justice.
This footage is next level!
very nice job,I like it.thank you
I love it learning too really learn how to work a lure.
Still would keep my L.C. baits as #1, although I agree, the Megabass +1 looked great, I may consider grabbing a couple of those..Great video as usual..
Awesome footage guys!
This video helps a million thank you
Great video!
I've been loving some shadow rap shad
Great video Matt

Awesome footage!!
Oh man can't wait for the new jerkbait vids. Totally addicted to them here in the north country. Shadow rap/shadow rap shad anyone?
Nice work you guys for sure.
The 110+1 looked awesome. Please check out the Megabass Diving Flap Slap. When it stops it has a shimmy that is really amazing.
You guys are awesome!
That RipStop does need a good snap, but it’s a great bait if you’re on a budget. That was my most consistent producer last winter.
Awesome footage
I love the rerange! I was surprised by the Rapila one, I didn’t care at all for the megabass 110+2
Do a video about fishing after a fall cold front. Damn the bite is tough right now.
Agree
How do u even get that footage!🤦♂️🤷♂️ that’s rediculous awesome
I'm guessing with a diver and a stocked pond.
Great vid!!
Agreed, MB vision 110 +1 looked best. Another jerkbait I’ve also liked is the IMA flit. Good stuff here, never take that jerkbait off, tied on pretty much year round.

about to head out right now... 40° in michigan. gonna try my Xcalibur jerkbaits
Good luck! Go grip some lips!
4:48 What's your opinion as to why the bass hesitated and then came back and annihilated the Megabass Vision 110?
Looks like the jerkbait was "staring" at him and the bass noticed. When the jerkbait moved he doubled back and came up underneath it with a surprise attack.
Do you tie them lures directly to the line or use swivel so you can change them quickly or does the swivel change the lure to much.

Gonna be honest...i love trolling jerkbaits!
No jerk, just straight action!
I could watch bass hammer jerkbaits all day!
I’ve had a lot of luck on the sixth sense provoke as well. Surprised it wasn’t in here.
lmao....the provoke is a vision 110 ripoff with 4 mm cut off the nose to name it "106"....
Stoney Lonsome amen. Dickweeds are abundant on UA-cam aren’t they!

Hard to fish any other jerkbait after a megabass vision +2 ... such a slayer
Have you tried the rapala ripstop
Well, I’m snagging that on the first cast

Do you ever find a use for the faster 8:1 reels?
that ito shiner would run phenomenal up hear it in WI
Man, I can't wait to catch some bass on a jerkbait. Awesome video as always.
