- Adjusting the clutch at the transmission end is quite difficult with the rear tire on, but fairly simple with the rear tire off. So adjusting your clutch at the transmission, to obtain maximum adjust-ability at the handlebar, when you replace your rear tire is the way to go.
Thanks this was useful. About to get to work. Cheers!
great, just what I needed. Later 850 has adjuster on both cable ends but still useful.
Great! Thanks for letting us know. Wonderful that Guzzi made this fix.
Great video! Very helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
If you drill a 3mm hole at the flat end of the adjuster screw, you can use an rod/Allen key hold the screw in place easier when tightening the lock nut. Don’t even have to take out the back wheel. Can just access from the bottom on the swing arm.
Wow, sounds great. Wonderful to learn little "tricks" from others along the way. Thanks
Smart!!
@@Twenty9point97 I held with a small crocodile clip ... works a treat
Hi there, thank you for the video, do you find your lever hard to pull?
With lots of resistance in comparison to Japanese bikes? 🤔
Thanks for the question, but no I really do not. I have a Gl1000 and a BMW K100 as reference. Perhaps the cable is kinked somewhere along the line. The only thing I notice is that neutral is often difficult to find.
Thanks for the prompt response, mine is certainly very hard to pull, I’ll inspect the whole cable and lubricate - I thought it was a Guzzi thing!
@@valeja2002 yes I can confirm that it's harder to pull than my honda. it's a dry clutch so maybe thats why
