Maybe if you expalined what the act was, and gave more context people would know. Because i am honestly gething nothing from that 1 second glance at it.

That brass piece that he was holding in his hand. Was sitting on top of the valve inside the engine. The customer complained of a rattle in the engine.

@nservice1625 If he explained enough, then I would know. I didn't look at the brass piece because I was mainly trying to find a problem with the engine itself. Simply saying, look at this. I found it in an engine just serviced by the dealership.

I remember when kia was giving out free oil changes for the lifetime of your ownership of the vehicle. It didn't matter because the workers would drop almost a quart of oil on top of the manifold with all the wires and plugs in the way dam near on purpose. Why so that you don't have anything nice. Just what they do

I find it incredible just how bad KIA/Hyundai dealerships still are in the US. They have improved ALOT here in Germany; its like its a new company compared to where they were 10 years ago.

It's not surprising to hear this story and read all these comments. When you think about it, who would go to all the trouble of professional development and waste it on a job working for a dealership that sells cars to price-motivated people. No one's patting a good tech on the back at Kia

My friend took his kia in for a service and when taking the car home after the service the car started overheating and the head got blown. Was it coincidence that the radiator pipe was broken immediately after the service worst part is kia refused to pay.
