I have the Millenium G2 and I love it, gonna get this revolver if I can find it local. Just found out I can use a Sig p226 20 rd. clip in this G2 excited about this! Can't have enough fire power!
By now you found out that the slide doesn't stay open when your using the Sig 226 magazine, but, it is more rounds and that's a plus. I just bought Trijicon night sights for the G2 from Lakeline LLC.com, very nice ,specifically for the G2.
Firstly, thank you for this video tutorial, albeit I am rather late since it was posted in March '16. My question: As a potential 1st time buyer, is it uncommon for one such as myself, to actually remain with a revolver and stay with it and not evolve later into a semi-auto? Backstory for interest in a revolver: I knew someone who started with Ruger Vaqueros (2) and almost immediately ratcheted up to semi-automatics, full-auto (via his "tinkering" with Glocks, Vectors, etc) and is now fully certified by NRA at last check three years ago. I have lost touch with him some time ago given he is probably either teaching somewhere for the NRA or gun-smithing and/or making bullets. He is in a whole other echelon but he did get me slightly interested in a home protection / personal carry about four years ago.
You said you have never had a problem with the Taurus model 85 revolvers you have sold. I have been considering getting one. How good is the Taurus repair service in case it was ever needed?
Wound spring and cylinder lock is not the shell ejector and Better than your pretty S&W
Didn't see that before. Cool.

Stephen we own a few taurus guns never had an issue but i hear their customer service is terrible from others who have had to send things back!!
Couldn't say but my Taurus 856 was a great little gun.. really interested in getting a convertible model now
Took 4 minutes of yakking to get to the point...
Thanks! you saved me four minutes!
Could I swap out the hammer mechanism of my Taurus 'standard' 605 for one of those convertible ones?
Do all 85's have that? Because that's the only one I want
What's the price on this one? Thanks.
