Sorry, I'm blowing up the MAG comments tonight because I'm emotional. You know what was crazy about this performance? When I left that room, my entire body was almost numb and I couldn't stop crying. The power of music.
I was able to see them in Chicago and it was more moving and magical than you can even imagine. I hope they continue to orchestrate live shows like this!
Me too. I know a streamer just online. Her son is Banner Saga creator & his own studio called Stoic, she said she was there at recording of the game, spoke with him & all. Not at this live event that I know of. Link was just shared on chat so here I am. That singing omg. Stoicmom accompanies her so well on her streams of Journey when she does sing a bit of it at the end.

How awesome it must have been to play the game with the soundtrack being performed live right in front of you. Beautiful. The crowd reaction really added to the whole experience as well.
Even though I was not there in person, watching it live or playing along onstage, the connection was still there. I shed tears and cheered along with the audience and the character. This is seriously one of the best stories and music I've ever seen, thank you Austin Wintory and everyone involved in this
This was my most favorite moment of the whole MAG, which is saying a lot because this has been my most favorite MAG ever so far! I was in tears! The longest standing applause I've ever seen at the concerts and it SO deserved it.
30:45 I love how I just noticed the two cloaked people to the sides. Anybody know if they were part of the orchestra or just people dressed up as the character? How cool!
The one who got up out of their seat at that time stamp was one of the 5 or so people selected to play through the game on stage. They just happened to be in full Journey cosplay.

Been playing this game since I was 4 such a nostalgic adventure every time, would have loved to see this live!
This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. So grateful to have been there (and in the front row because I got there SUPER early)
