i was the 666th thumbs up. saw these dudes play across from an arcade in Lexington, KY a little over a year after this performance. they played Megaman II & Castlevania that night. Advertising Megaman II in advance of the show is the main reason i went. i'd never seen them or watched any footage prior to going to the show, so i didn't fully know what to expect. of course i was extremely impressed. Enjoyed chatting with a couple of the guys afterwards and having some questions that i had about the show answered. I bought their Megaman II album on vinyl, and despite having what i consider to be an excellent collection, it's among my very favorites in my library now.
The Advantage was always my favorite NES band to see live, but this whole thing of playing along with the insane pace of a realtime playthrough is mind-blowing. I need to see this band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a crime that this has so few views. I am an avid YT viewer and retro game fan and I only JUST found out about this from word of mouth... Never stop stopping.
Theyre jus too good. Been watching and listening since 2013. Bit brigade is the best when it comes to live shows nd being on que wit the player of the game(as they say their lead singer/player) wish i can see them live never liked rock music till i heard them nd hoping they cover megaman x or mmx4
I'm torn about Castlevania. On one hand, it's been covered in rock form so many times, particularly officially by Konami themselves. On the other hand, no one else is performing it live, so I'm glad BB is, and they do a solid job. But Ducktales? Hell yes.
So sad to see him playing it in that distorted widescreen format. Why would you do that? It just flattens everyone and makes everything non-proportionate.
before shows, he gets so nervous that he can't eat or even drink anything. and this show is in front of the biggest crowd they draw, who's also the most critical, *and* it's being recorded professionally. So you're seeing him even more nervous than usual. Plus it's at the very beginning of the show, so he's not warmed up in the zone and in his flow state.
He’s concentrating, I heard him in an interview that he’s so nervous before a show he doesn’t eat or drink anything. I would be too, it’s all on his shoulders!
Finding this on Thanksgiving 2024. Giving thanks to you all for doing this as I’m haf eating breakfast.
wait so if you are half eating, where is the other half going? Careful dude
Duck Tales Moon theme starts at 49:23
The Duck Tales Moon Theme might be one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. In anything.
I’d say it’s a close 2nd behind the Delta Force theme
Mega Man 2 Wily’s Castle

He's the "lead singer" but he sings with his fingers.
All these guys are stellar, but the drummer is seriously killing it.
Mike is the fucking man.. he is the drummer for Cinemechanica and Maserati as well
The bassist totally rocks!
They nailed the weird time signature at the beginning of the moon!
i was the 666th thumbs up.

THIS GOES SO FUCKING HARD I LOVE THESE GUYS. Seen them five times live. Good fucking band.
man they played the whole batman nes 89 music.... beyond awesome
Who here still plays the old school games?? I know I still do

21:21 DAT BASS
Love how they play Stage 1-1 of Return of the Joker on the Cathedral stage. (y)
I could listen to this over and over again. Just remembering the crowd reaction when Ducktales started up gets me excited.
Coming here right after the MM2 video, it's wild how the drummer looks like exactly the same
dat bass!
The drummer is the real #mvp
41:22 - "Get ready to jizz!"
Brother, you have no idea how right you were.
The guitarist has changed drastically holy shit
Thank you for the link on the Megaman 2 video!
Ahhhhhhh I love the drummer so much man
So glad to see this back! I was bummed when it disappeared from the MAGFest channel a week after the fest
they improved so much during the years, I wish the Zelda rendition was this well executed
next years they should go with SNES and SEGA classics
I've seem them live in Pittsburgh. It was awesome! Watching this and hearing them play Batman and Ducktales though is epic!
Castlevania level 3 goes so hard.
They should have a cameo of that dude in the costume in Japan who plays death metal drums :D
This is fucking INSANE how epic this is!
5:03 great tune!
i would like to watch this live in Brazil
i hope that one day you are able to, Rogério

But Ducktales? Hell yes.
Michael 마익흘 Aronson I mean to be fair, Castlevania was the theme for all the badges and swag items this year so it was fitting that they did it.
i saw them do megaman2, it was pretty cool.
16:34 final boss theme was everything!
This concert was amazing. A thousand nerds singing Ducktales to a rock cover. You just can't beat that.
even
flipping awesome
Way better than the Ducktales Remastered game OST
All remastered games suck.
Seeing these guys tonight. I'm stoked!
Bass parts in Batman > all that other stuff (all great musicians, but Batman bass is insane).
Awesome is an understatement!
Drummer kicks some serious asses
They nailed Batman... and we all know that Sunsoft OST are insanely hard to tribute. They should just do Journey to Silius.
49:22 Happy Days
The Japanese computer nerds loved Iron Maiden, and so do I.
Oh my fucking god TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BATMAN!!!
awesome!!!!
34:20 makem scream of joy!!!
Why not keep the game audio on silent?
Someone knows what the crowd shout 4:54 ?
"Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!"
Batman??? Oh yeah Dude has BALLSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this but it enrages me how amazing easy he makes castlevania and batman seem! 😡😡😡🤣🤣
he would be a killer speedrunner if he's not already
DID YOU SEE THE FLYING PERSON 5:03
Are these guys gonna be at MagWest?
Howdy, I would follow our Facebook page or the main site for any announcements.
Bit Brigade plays Streets of rage, please teel me this will happen
sega sucks
Real gamers love Sega and Nintendo all the same.
@@chuckobscure truth
Was great but I have to admit I skipped to the moon theme. Kind of wish the video game sound effects were lower though.
i do agree that the sound fx could be slightly lower in the mix. doesn't really take away from the performance though, in my opinion
DUCKTAILS???? MY GOD!!! LOL!!!
So sad to see him playing it in that distorted widescreen format. Why would you do that? It just flattens everyone and makes everything non-proportionate.
something tells me that the tv he's playing it on isn't projected into that widescreen format.
le forban il fait moins le malin
Moar
Liked. Then unliked. Then liked again.
0:50 is he crying?
To be fair, if he fucks up, that's the show so there's a little bit of pressure on him.
before shows, he gets so nervous that he can't eat or even drink anything. and this show is in front of the biggest crowd they draw, who's also the most critical, *and* it's being recorded professionally. So you're seeing him even more nervous than usual. Plus it's at the very beginning of the show, so he's not warmed up in the zone and in his flow state.
Why does the player look so miserable, does he wanna pee or something?
He’s concentrating, I heard him in an interview that he’s so nervous before a show he doesn’t eat or drink anything. I would be too, it’s all on his shoulders!
could you really not tell that you're seeing the look of focus and determination?
