Dwade did all that in his 3rd year and his finals performance was Jordan like and better than Jordan's first finals. From 03-2011 dwade was better than lebron. You can say LeBron has better numbers ECT but dwade was the champion. In 2008-09 dwade put up over 2000+ pints, over 500+ assist, over 300 rebounds, over 100 steals, and over 100+ blocks. Dwade is the ONLY player to ever do this. That's elite. Prime wade was no joke. If not for all the injuries he'd be even higher. And if they would have won against the mavs with the big 3, dwade would have got mvp and that would have changed everything. Prime dwade was no joke. Top 15 ever. 💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥 ⚡ ⚡ ⚡

When healthy, he was an elite scorer (27 ppg prime, 09 scoring champ), efficient scorer (between 48-54% FG), elite defender (3x All Defense, Top 3 in DPOY in 09), elite playmaker (7 APG 05-10, 5 APG after going off ball to Bron, top 10 APG 05-10), elite playoff performer (great individual play in 05,06,09,10,11,12). He was a perennial All NBA player and MVP candidate.
His impact on teams is undeniable: he carried the 06 Heat to a chip, averaging 35 PPG in the finals, while second leading scorer was Walker with 14 ppg. His supporting cast averaged 0.1 ppg less than AI cast vs 01 Lakers. After his 07 knee and shoulder Injuries after AS break, the same 06 heat team got swept in the first round by the Bulls..then proceeded to win 15 games in 07-08 with Wade hobbling, 5 wins w/o Wade. Wade was coming off knee and shoulder surgeries and was far from the same player. Shaq got traded at deadline, Wade got shut down a few weeks later for another procedure, which ended up saving his career.
Heading to 08-09, that 15 win team got worse wit loss of Shaq and Riley. Wade took that to 43 wins, 5th seed in one of the best individual reg seasons: 30-8-5 on 49% FG, first and only player to accumulate 2000 PTS - 500 AST - 100 STL - 100 BLK in a seasn, thirds to average 30-7-2. Scoring champ, First Team All NBA, Second Team All Defense, Top 3 in both MVP and DPOY.
Two of the best defensive teams couldn't stop him in the playoffs-
vs 06 Pistons:26 ppg on 62% FG
vs 10 Celtics: 33 ppg on 56% FG
vs 11 Celtics: 30 ppg on 53% FG
The problem with his career is knee Injuries. He lost 1.5 years of his prime from Feb 07 to Summer 08, and 2012 had his prime cut short cuz of degenerative knee issues. He missed over 250 games, most of them within first 11 years. Spent seasons on seasons hobbling.
Despite Injuries, he's accumulated a historic career. There's less than 30 player in history as accomplished as Wade. First ballot HOF, one of the all time greats.

DWade in his prime was legendary. He never backed down from Nobody! He was clutch and will make an important play to win a game. Standing at 6'4 and getting most blocks as a guard in history speaks volume on how he valued the defense side of the court. He accepted all his role and was the ultimate professional. I am blessed to witnessed DWade's rise to superstar status in the NBA. I knew I was watching something special. This man gave his all and deserves a Statue in Miami.
In my opinion DWade is the greatest two guard we have ever watched play the position.

Wade was looked at as the next Jordan and some even said he could be better. It took Jordan years to start competing. But Wade came into the league right away willing teams to victory. Another thing is Wade was doing it injured while Jordan was healthy. We'll never know, but if Wade had better luck like other players with injury, i don't see any reason to why Wade couldn't have won 6 or more titles. The talent was there, the mind was there and the leadership was there. Health is truly is everything.
He was so much fun to watch. He would make you jump out of your seat every game with some spectacular play. I’m grateful that he played for the heat and I got to see his entire career.

I got to meet Dwyane Wade when I was 5 years old. Not only an amazing player but an amazing person. Wades Prime from 2006 to 2013 was one of the best. Top 3 SG, Top 15 player of all time if it wasn’t for those injuries later on in his career, he low key could’ve been a top 10 player and higher on the scoring list

One of the small things that bother me about these vids is that they rarely ever mention how Wade had his meniscus removed in college. This man has done all this work on what is essentially one knee.

A punctured Modern Ford Mustang. He had the engine that Kobe had and flair/talent that MJ had. He was the combination that would have given the NBA world a reckoning of the SG position. He was tenacious competitor, his flair with the basketball mirrored MJ, his ability to will his presence on the court reflected both MJ and Kobe. Only problem was his wheels man, his knees were already done by the time he was in the NBA. But you know what the legend made a name for himself in other ways, despite being successful on the court his biggest accolade was giving Miami, a team that didn't know what winning meant, 3 championships. The guy willed his team in his first go, the second and third time, he sacrificed minutes, money, limelight and dominance to make sure Miami, LBJ, CB and The Heat felt the skies again. No other player in the league I respect more than this guy, forget dominance. His humility and focus on what was important is a good example that no matter the talent, you have to take a step back to see the bigger picture.

I'll never forget that 06' finals vs the Mavs. Was at sleepaway camp with a few Dallas fans who were talking that gooood shit after we went down 0-2. Every game after that they would slowly lose their sanity as Wade put the team on his back and brought home the trophy 😂

Been a D-Wade fan for a long long time. Great video! The younger generation may not have witnessed his greatness first hand but D-Wade is the 3rd best shooting guard to ever do it. He also is the All Time Leader in blocks by a guard. A record Michael Jordan held before Wade passed the GOAT. I'll take Wade over Harden every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

everyone underrates his handle and his ability to come off screens in his prime years 04-16 and hit mid range shots....he was a good iso mid range shooter with screens in pick and roll/pop but he really just came off a pin down screen and caught and fired off ball a few times a game like you see today from guys from 3 do..thats what made wade special in the half court..he was not some stand still iso player ..he made up for his lack of spacing with movement off ball..his lack of a three did not matter with his backdoor cuts

jerry allover nah after 2010 bron took off and it was over for everyone besides Dwight Howard and rose. They only lasted a few more years so it was really just LeBron by 2012 at the very top as Kobe, wade, Howard, Cp3, Duncan, and melo all started declining a bit.
Lebron has never been as good as Wade. The Heat would of probably won seven chips if DWade ran that team the way he ran it before Lebron and his Cleveland style came along.

I’m a heat fan since 03 and he was drafted in that year, became a all rookie and made playoff winning shot against Hornets. Ever since that, he went full elite shooting guard. I’d say he is right behind Kobe. So D Wade is #3 SG of all time.
