How to make climbing sticks

In this video we show you how you can make your own climbing sticks for hunting and save yourself a lot of money. Remember that your life is on the line when climbing a tree and we are not responsible for any accidents if you don’t build them properly and with care. We’ve been using them for years but we make sure to quality check every stick before use.

I’m not sure why your square tube is so long? Seems like you have 3 or 4 inches sticking out top and bottom unnecessarily

Great video. Im a little confused on the notching part. How big of notch you make in angle iron

We will typically use a 3/4” notch. Depending on what size angle and where you drill your hole it may be slightly different but 3/4” typically works well.
