@@Waldherz there’s not a first person button lol there’s the option for first person aiming which most third person games have. Most third person games don’t let you reload in first person though, and even less have detailed enough animations for the game to actually look good in first person like this game does.
Man, I know the AC8 autocannon has some problems with animations, but hot damn, look at it! Fully recoiling barrel, toggle locked, clipazine fed. Someone was clearly watching Forgotten Weapons and went "I want that in my game".
Was pretty surprised to see things like +1 round in the chamber on a tactical reload and ammunition being counted via magazines rather than loose rounds for most weapons. Definitely wasn’t expecting that for a game that doesn’t bill itself as a realistic or tactical shooter.
If you start a reload on a gun tossing a magazine on the ground, and then change weapons mid-reload, you can resume the reload where you left off when you go back to it, and not only that, if you try to shoot without the magazine in place you can fire the round left in the chamber...and then the next animation will include the bolt pull 😂

In addition to that, you didn't even change fire modes on weapons, like the Stalwart's setting on 1150 RPM, which is a whole different gun, would be neat to see those. I understand the game is a real grind, but this isn't even the first game you've titled as "all weapons" which is click bait.
I also noticed there are unique animations in both 3rd and 1st person view if you reload a one-handed weapon while you're carrying an object in the other hand.
p-19 Redeem is just a straight upgrade to the default pistol and if you don't like the full auto you can toggle it to semi by holding R. Can actually change a lot of weapon behaviors if you just hold the reload button lmao.
Yeah the other two pistols are a little underwhelming at the moment. Meta for guns is a bit stale in general right now but I think the devs can fix it.
6 rifles, 1 grenade, 1 launcher are missing in this video. Sorry but unlocking them all requires weeks of playing. These weapons will appear in the next video in "one year after release" series.

Nice to see a game that knows that when it comes to reloading, slow is smooth and smooth is fast. No CoD jerking the gun around with massive screen shake either.
Also try holding the reload button and switching firing modes, for the LMGs there are different fire rates which all feel different and satisfying for different situations ahahah
Firing the guns in this game feel damn good. I do think the diligence sniper needs a little more armor piercing though, the chainsaw robots eat ammo if your no aiming at either the face, the arms or lower glowing torso but even still take a good 4 or so shots to destroy. Higher difficulties make it tougher. Also a side note, use the Defender SMG with its burst fire feature. It’s fantastic and ammo efficient. Makes me wish for a higher dmg burst rifle variant to keep up with the Breaker Shotgun.
Something not a lot of people know is that the railgun has a select fire called unsafe where you can get a slight boost in damage, however if you overcharge it it blows up on your hand and kills you.
i like how unlike the stalwart the MG-34 has the charging handle pulled at the the start of the reload, implying that the MG-34 is an open bolt machine gun and the animator knows enough about about guns to get that detail down
It's the future and they are Super Earth first line of offense... but they don't use moonclip (surprisingly, HD1 use this) or speed strip... Nor dual/quad loading technique. . BTW, the video is missing all premium weapons.
Rumor has it that John wick either came up with or popularized the mag flip and now we see it in this game. I love it. You can really see how this game was made BY gamers.
I appreciate a game that takes place in the future and still keeps its guns in line with the present day models. I also appreciate that these animations are extremely adequate for a game that takes place behind your characters back.
That sound design though! Also instead of doing a couple shots then rapid fire/auto, can you just keep them separate? Like for one you do it slow then reload and then do rapid fire/auto and continue to shoot until empty instead of bursting.
You are playing on the highest FoV and it scales with first person view model so the animations are a bit broken here and there but on more normal FoV of like 55 to 75 most of the clipping and other issues are not visible and overall, the animations are pretty amazing and satisfying considering the fact that the game is primarily made for 3d person. Sound are also incredible as pretty much the whole game is.
That's a toggle lock, which Lugers and several other prototype self-loading rifles use. Even has historical precedent in an anti-tank rifle. The only issue is the toggle has some animating errors which make it clip through the gun. If those are fixed it would look far less dangerous.

I think you missed the Diligence Counter-Sniper rifle Edit: Actually you missed quite a number of unlockable weapons. The Scorcher is very powerful, but it's slow with small mag.
My best guest is that they'll probably drop new stratagems and weapons later on as free updates from what I can recall. Right now, people saying mechs are coming back and that's very much a plus to me. Especially down the line there's a chance the "illuminate" may come back as a third faction

My fav detail is the debris from grenade explosions

The Senator really needs a optional reload mechanic you can switch to, either individual rounds to save ammo or speed loaders that dump the cylinder!
The animations are sick: not everything needs camera shake and tacticool elements, hats off to the devs.
It is such a pet peeve for me when pump action shotguns are animated to eject the shell before pumping like a semi auto
If you equip the ballistic shield you get new unique reload animations for each weapon.

I believe it’s a world generated weapon (not summoned by stratagem sadly, but it does take a support weapon slot)
