    Good day Poopdivers. I was just pulled aside by General Brasch for a quick word and spent the last few hours in the reeducation camps. I have relearned that my opinion on the Recoilless Rifle is that it is an S Tier weapon all around. I have also relearned that I do not prefer any other Anti-Tank options. In fact if anyone needs me to hold on to their backpack, I will be happy to follow you around.

      I definitely disagree with the assessment of it, but I do think it's pretty funny how this feels very in-line with what Super Earth would expect of it's members. I can hear the voice-over now...

      Tech Tip! You can cut down on RR reload speed by watching the ammo indicator. When it transitions from red and empty to fully white and full, then you can cancel the reload animation and cut down about a second and a half off of the reload animation. 1 second is a lot of time especially for getting of quick consecutive shots back to back or needing that "dear god a bile titan is running my ass down and I need to kill it or I won't clutch the evac with the 35 Rare Samples I need" reload.

      I agree, it is easily A if not S tier for bots. Alone the kill potential for dropships puts it up there.
      And it can be nice to have for bugs, too. One round to the head will down a charger and a bile titan (just like the trailer told us it would), it can destroy shrieker nests on sight and can in a pinch be used to close bug holes and whatnot. A tier for bugs in my eyes.

      Maybe not S for bugs, I feel like bug heavies are easier to deal with using other means, and the reload against swarming bugs can be painful. S+ against bots tho i mean come on

    The recoiless is a far better version of the spear: much more ammo, you don’t to lock on (which can get annoying if you are in a tight situation), it’s the only weapon in the game that can one shot a strider. The only way the spear is better is against turrets but that’s it

      Different use case and play style but yeah the RR is more universal. SPEAR is better used for those that loves to provide support from the back and literally snipe the heavies that's attacking your team or kill them before you could encounter them. This is better in planets with low visibility. RR is good if you're a mid/front liner where a more direct fire support is needed.

      ​@rightsideup6304 Yeah, I agree with this. They have different use cases. On Gaellivere (or however you spell it) at night in a rainstorm, give me a spear every time. Dropships landing on my team halfway across the map, give me a spear. Dropships landing on my team right next to me? RR all the way. Bug planet? Probably RR. Tons of tanks? Spear. Clear sight lines? RR.
      I generally think the RR is more useful, but I mostly play bots and see too many tanks to not love the spear, also it is just cool.

    Worth noting Recoilless actually does more damage than EATs and Queso Cannon, and will one-tap certain enemies that those two won’t.

    I'll skip the RR tier complaint and just give a little bit of tech. The rocket weapons were tweaked last patch and were essentially divided into three levels: the spear is at the top of damage, followed by the RR, and at level three, we have the queso cannon and ET. The RR is seen by the community as a god-tier weapon because it reaches all the breakpoints for a one-shot kill against all enemies, making that extra 200 damage of the spear not worth three fewer shots. Additionally, to reach those one-shot kill breakpoints, one must make skill shots; the auto-aiming on the spear pretty much prevents you from doing so.
    Furthermore, on the bot front, you can pretty much cut spawners in half before they reach the ground just by soloing with the RR. This is done by placing a shot anywhere on the body of the dropship. Unlike in the video, avoid shooting the thrusters or engines, or else the enemies will still survive.

      @@stephengiannini9667 Do it in the defense missions especially! I've had a few times where I was stuck with bots still needing to be disassembled because the game didn't count the ones that died from the dropship falling.

      @@rightsideup6304 The only problem you get with doing it on defense missions is crashing dropships can blowup your doors and or sentries on the walls sometimes. you have to be careful of where you shoot them down.

      The anti tanks are honestly a playstyle choice. The queso is supposed to be extremely hood and I WANT to like it but for me? Absolutely poop teir both factions. I've always been more reliable with the RR and autocannon long before the buffs.

    the problem is that you seems to juge them as a solo player...
    because there's a lot of disagree with you, all the "C" and "B" support weapons become easily A tier when you play with others, especially the recoilles rifle that is probably an A tier for bugs et a S tier for bots

      I can understand the critique but its also very hard to judge when playing with others as your team is impacting battle with the stratagems they provide. The best I can try is to weigh which will have the biggest impact versus the toughest dangers you will be facing.

      @@DrPooploveAgain, for solo diving, which is great if you can pull it off, but the game is meant to be played with others, where you can provide aid to the team between horde clearing or making objectives easier on the whole.
      Your criticism on the Recoiless is way, WAY off point once you factor in that one shot of the Recoilless takes down Spore Towers, Shrieker Nest Towers and Fabricators. All without a lock on. And the reload time is negligible given with enough practice, I’ve downed three dropships in succession in a heavy drop, cutting the op for in half.

    Just one note, you can pair both the heavy and medium MG's with the jetpack and just leap away and start your reloading mid air. Pretty nice ;P

    RR in anything but S tier is just trolling. It has more damage than the quasar and eat, and is more versatile than the spear. The reloading is not really that much of an issue as its staged.
    Something youre not considering is that it can destroy 2 shrieker nests or an entire heavy fabricator base from outside of their engagement range.
    That coupled with the abilty to 1 tap most heavy targets, its just obscene. This goes for other support weapons too
    I'd also swap the stalwart and the mg43 on bugs. The mg43 can 1 tap small bugs and can deal with alpha commanders and spewers quickly, stalwart cant. Alpha commanders are probably the most dangerous bug imo.

      You can also animation cancel the last step of reload for the RR. Hit your crouch/stand button as soon as the ammo indicator goes white. Saves a second or two off the whole process.

    Little trick with autocannon: leave one round in the mag, reload, shoot it if you have enemies nearby (or in the air) and just reload once more

    RR does 3200 damage vs EAT 2000. Spear does 4000 but the lock-on is a huge hinderance. Putting RR in C tier is INSANE and I don't understand what you were thinking.

      Gotta disagree; A tier is appropriate. I main an MG and the EAT allows me to down the big guys and objectives at range without giving up my MG. It is best as a support-support weapon as it is significantly worse if you are not using another support weapon.

      The EAT has an incredibly useful niche that fits into any loadout. Its a faster burst damage option than a QC, can be ran if you are using other support weapons, you can support your team with it by littering the map, and it can take out Fabricators from any direction unlike the QC. It also doesn't take a backpack slot, so you can still run shields/guard dogs/supply packs/jump packs with it, and when you do get killed, you don't have to trek across the map to get your weapon since the cooldown is so short

      They're expendable, don't need reloads, don't need to cross the map to retrieve one if you get called in far away, there's another for a friend, and the drop pod makes a funny weapon itself.

    People are complaining about the recoiless, but I honestly think you've done the commando dirty too. In my experience, it can two shot chargers and bile titans when aiming for the head, and impalers when aiming for the exposed bits when it's attacking (although it can feel somewhat inconsistent at points). On the bot front it can actually one shot hulks when aiming for the head from the front, and I think the heat sink too. Also two shots tanks from the front.
    One commando launcher is basically both EATs at once if you aim properly, which isnt that difficult since you can change trajectory mid flight. And you don't have to reload or run back to the drop to pick up the second launcher. It's not crazy good, but I think in either case it should be in the same tier as EAT.

      I think the cooldown is what makes it non-competitive against the EAT. If it had 2 more shots or cooldown faster, it would be competitive. The laser targeting is generally a downside when compared to the EAT, too, IMO. I don't want to have to sit and guide the shot into position to make it competitive.

    The machine gun in c tier for bug is definitely a bias 😅. I use it all the time to do solo runs on level 9 and it’s amazing paired with the crossbow and a jet pack

    A note on the Commando vs EAT argument in the video as a SPEAR and Commando cultist:
    The Commando isn't a higher capacity alternative to the EAT, but rather a cheaper, no lock-on SPEAR. Yeah it does more or less the same damage as the EAT, but it doesn't have the bullet drop of EAT and you can guide your shots with the laser. Against the bots its genuinely a pretty good and fair tradeoff compared to the lower cooldown EAT (More accuracy vs more uses) and it's basically the bug killing variant of the SPEAR since again, it's a disposable heavy killer and distance isn't as big of a factor.
    Another note is that you won't have to change the way you play too drastically with the Commando compared to the SPEAR. SPEAR is best used as a rear long-range heavy killer for your team so you want long range primaries to be better at the task. It's not flashy, you won't get the most kills, but very rewarding and your team will love you for the support (Heavy sniping, objective sniping, gunship killing, etc) The Commando? You can still be in the front lines and just call it in as needed!

    30:51 Something to know is that there is actually a distinction between the different AT launchers, they don’t all do the same damage. For example, the Recoiless can take out a single Shrieker nest in one shot, whereas the Quasar Cannon takes two shots.

    the lascannon is great paired with the schyte, just beam until you get hot, switch, keep beaming, and so on. add a beam drone and suddently your helldiver is ever moving, always DPSing, never reloading.
    we cleaned level 10 with 4x this loadout, just replace 1 or 2 lascannon with quasar.

    My only real beef with this vid (or tier lists in general) is you appear to be testing one dimensionally, in this case - solo play.
    For example, the machine gun as a mid or back line team support weapon (bots&bugs) is god tier in ammo efficiency with great burst accuracy and damage (made even better if you roll with Fortified/Engineer/Physique armor perks) emphasizing the weapons main purpose - Sustained Pressure/Field Control. Often, you can solo clear a whole path for your team to get into position saving them from wasting stratagems that are better used on elites or clearing objectives. As mid or back line the down side (reloading) becomes a complete non issue.
    Most of the low tier stuff listed here in a coop (and especially strategically set up) team setting end up being far superior. Our own team comps typically only use one of your A or S tier weapons (usually on the point man) and almost entirely all B and below tier weapon on everyone else as these weapons tend to have high sustained engagement efficiency, which is exactly what high difficulty missions force you into.

      This puts succinctly why most Helldiver tier lists get some ideas right, but often form strange conclusions on many weapon/stratagem placements; unaccounted bias (particularly from the testing phase) isn't considered or laid out when relaying one's opinion, which as the comment section can be attested to, shows a great disapproval for the RR's overall low grading-justifiably so IMO but I don't feel the need to add more to this pile.
      Not a bad video by any means, it does however demonstrate that DrPoopLove should refamiliarize themselves with a more practical testing environment, which I'm glad to see they're at the very least cognizant of and willing to engage.

    Maschine Gun in C tier vs Bugs ?
    No way lol. Ill manage to ALWAYS have the most kills with it combined with the supply backpack and clear the hordes alone, while others can focus on heavys on difficulty 10.
    You also can run thermite against chargers and biles which you can literally spam with the supply backpack. Paired with this combo, its EASY S-Tier. Run a fortifed armor with reduced recoil and you are godlike.

    MG-43 is literally the defination of anti chaff. It has downsides sure, but once you get used to them it becomes a beast and you will have better timed reloads.
    The amount of damage it can dish out at max rpm and with fast handling peak physique armor can’t be underestimated. ”Strafing run is great way to give your self time to reload and stuns are recommeded”.
    There is no way that MG-43 belongs down in C-tier. It was ”good before 60 day plan”, patch notes further improved on original version.

    Another thing I noticed, you seem to think impalers are much harder to take out than they actually are if you know their weak spot (which is pretty obscure knowledge, to be fair). Their weak spot is the smooth top part of the exposed flesh when their face is in the ground. If you hit that with pretty much anything they go down very quick. Three shots from the crossbow will do it, and other primaries can all do it as well because it's lightly armored. Although to take them out quickly you can also nail that spot with an anti-tank weapon to one shot them, which can be nice when under tentacle attack.

      @@DrPooplove It seems like that standard is applied pretty inconsistently, if so. Maybe you could separate tier lists by skill requirement as well, although if you were to separate them based on game knowledge it'd kinda be wasted effort compared to just rating them on the high knowledge version and telling people the knowledge they need to know in the video as well. Like, tell them where to shoot to optimally damage the impaler and then you don't need to rate it for suboptimal hits (unless you want to assume they can't make those skilled hits).

    Quick tip with the commando: if you know how many rockets an enemy can take, quick fire them to deal loads of damage very quickly. One shooting hulks is good once you get your aim good

    Just a protip if you're having trouble reloading the RR. When you see your guy taking off the sabot of the rocket, you can press your strategem button to cancel the animation and when your guy loads in the next rocket, press the strategem button again to cancel that animation too. That way you cut down the animation down by a whole second or more if you get it right.
    The RR is way better than the quasar for me because you can fire it on demand, plus you can very easily get rid of shrieker nests and fabricators. The backpack requirement is not an issue since this just gives me the option to use another better strategem. Sure the manual reload is still ass even with the animation cancel but if you know how to work around it, it provides a fuck ton of advantages.

    RR in C for the bugs is kinda mad though. It oneshot everything, structures as well (Shrieker nests, Spore Spewer, etc), except for maybe Impaler and the Tanks and the Factory Strider. My only problems with RR is the stationary reload.

      Which is why it's insane when someone takes your rocket pack and loads it 3X faster for you while walking, if you have 2 RRs on a team it's an absolute wombo combo that's so underrated

And I can get behind the assisted reload being faster, since it makes sense that having someone to reload the round for you is faster. But honestly if you can reload somewhat fast with the RR by yourself than it'll truly be broken.

      It 1 taps impaler if you shoot the forehead above the eyespots, it also 1 shots all the tank turrets from any angle now that they reduced the armor, factory strider is 2 shots to the head but I usually shoot 3 times to knock out the turret first

    Recoiless is S-Tier both fronts, it can reliably 1-shot literally every terminid enemy except biles sometimes, can even be used to snipe spore speakers and shrieker hotels from across the map.
    Had a mission yesterday where we could see all 6 shrieker hotels from dropzone and I was able to take them all out before we even started the mission.
    On the bottom front this thing is still OP, can 1-shit literally everything except factory striders. Honestly RR is the best anti-tank in the game right now.

    I disagree with the recoiless rating. It's good and is best with dealing with the chargers and titans. granted its best with team mates. Also the cluster missile does detonate with in range of a enemy. It can be really unpredictable tho

      my reason why I prefer it as oppose to the quasar cannon for bugs is the ability to relocate faster. It's really annoying being attacked by hunters or anything for that matter while waiting for you shot to charge. The recoiless having the reload is better, just to instantly take out all elites is good. And standing around slowly waiting for your shot to charge up will most certainly get you killed. But with bots it's definitely a good pick, long range really does come I'm handy.

    vs bots we love 2 MG 1 RR and 1 AMR
    1 MG will have supply pack and give his 2nd to the other once it's up (saving us 1 strata slot)
    RR dude will give his second backpack to the AMR so he can reload on his own or have assisted reload (taking out 3 dropship out of the sky feels really nice)

    Like you, I tend to test weapons and equipment when playing solo. But when suggesting weapons or equipment to players, I think it's important to specify use in teams. When you're alone, I'd agree that the Spear isn't the best option against Bugs. But with a team, I'd rank it at A or S tier because you can focus on bigger targets like the Titans and Impalers, while your allies use their equipment for chargers and other targets.

    The airburst launcher should leave burning thermite or white phosphorous or something all over the area to make it a lasting area denial support weapon.
    Extra bonus points if it were to stick to heavies and burn them over time. Especially gunships

    The reload for the Recoilless Rifle, you can cancel it by changing to another weapon (your primary or secondary) the moment the little rocket icon becomes white. when you change back it will be reloaded. That allows you to move as soon as the icon changes without needing to wait for the portion of the animation where you lock the back of the weapon.

    I figured out a tech that I haven't seen many people do with the medium machine gun. If you have the jump pack, you can actually buffer the reload of the machine gun mid jump with the jump pack. Doing it too early will make you ragdoll but if you time it just as the pack comes back on to soften your landing you can start the reload and not ragdoll and finish the reload shortly after landing (if you have the reload speed ship module) and spend a lot less time stationary, pretty cool and fun once you get the hang of it. Would probably work with the heavy machine gun as well, and doing this makes it a lot easier for them to keep up with the Stalwart run and gun style.

    Amusing how some of my fav weaps are rated so low lol
    Also, as a solo player who helps the team get things done efficiently, i spam TF out of EATs on evac site and primary obj each time i pass by the areas. EATs is barely S-tier; it also kills Bot Factories and if you really want, throw the EAT pod near the factory and it'll destroy it for free.
    Commando is about on par with the EATs for bots, if not sometimes slightly better!!! If you have clear sight, or just enough, you can basically 2-tap anything guaranteed across the map because it flies perfectly straight!!!! You can easily snipe bot laser turrets w/ 2 commando rockets frontally afar, vs 2 EATs(? or more?). You can easily snipe bot factories w/ 2 commando rockets from afar. I don't like Commando against Gunships but it can get the job done. And 1 Commando basically equals carrying 2 EATs on your back, which you can't carry 2 EATs on your back. All of this is why Commando is roughly on par with EATs for bots.
    My loadouts always revolve mostly around killing high priority targets. For bots I pair the EATs with the Commando. They are excellent to spam EVERYWHERE.

    I have to agree regarding the grenade launcher against bugs. I bring a supply backpack and can tell my whole team to go take care of one objective while I solo another. It is just unstoppable.

    There is another reason to take commandos over EATs: If you're not carrying any other support weapon. The commando is equivalent to two EATs, so if you carry it and later call another in when heavies show, you functionally have four EATs (versus the three you would otherwise have in the same situation carrying a single EAT).

    Everyone is roasting the RR take but also putting the Stalwart for bugs in B tier is definitely underrating it. You can equip thermite grenades and/or run the crossbow, eruptor, or another primary that deals with medium/heavy enemies, and then the Stalwart very nicely rounds out your loadout by providing the best horde clear in the game as well as being the best solution to stop hunters and stalkers that are coming for your cheeks.

    I unironically love the Sterilizer and other gas stratagems vs the bugs. Because they do DOT, and remove the armor, in addition to slow them down, you pair that with the breaker, Gas nades, and the gas strike and you quite literally melt everything.
    It's *Great* crowd control at its finest. Better yet, for maximum DOT pair gas with fire and you get true pyromania.

    The airburst rocket launcher has got to be the least well understood support weapon. It takes a considerably larger degree of tactical awareness to properly use it than a typical support weapon. The only complaint I have with the ABRL is the proximity detonation on corpses, which can pile up over prolonged fights.
    The ABRL can effectively fight hordes, medium enemies, and if you know what you’re doing, large enemies too. Bile titans and striders are practically exempt, but I don’t think it’s impossible to fight those with one. The best strategy to have learned with the ABRL is landing the airburst in a way to maximize damage against hordes or single targets. Against hulks, shoot between the legs so it will airburst behind the hulk and potentially breaking the heat sink. Against chargers you can do the same, but more efficiently considering that chargers have AP2 undersides and a lot more area to soak explosions.
    There’s a lot of potential behind the airburst rocket launcher, you just need to learn the weapon to be the most out of it.

      And “the best you can get out of it” is still only MAYBE a C tier :) Sorry buddy, but the closer you get to Dif 10 the less this weapon works in ANY way, even the ways you explain it. You WILL be killing teammates, and if not it’s probably because you’re breaking off the group to do things solo, in which case the one being killed is you. The whole “air burst” system, now with the FLAK ammo on the AC as well, needs to be reworked. Why should I fanagle this hard to use a support weapon when I can just grab a RR and one-tap everything? Shorter reload, higher damage, and I can just have a horde-clearing primary? Or just have the MG, drop in an EAT when a heavy comes around and chill?
      One of those “yeah but in a vacuum it’s crazy bro!” moments

      Biggest problem with Airburst is other supports do the same thing or even better. AC has ammo and RoF, Spear has damage and range, and RR has a shorter reload than AB and is easier to use. Pretty sure the ABRL has the highest record of friendly fire right behind orbitals and eagle strikes

    Stalwart in B is criminal. It opens up so much space for crossbow gameplay, u can take a jetpack. Use crossbow to deal with medium enemies and bug holes, stalwart to clear hordes. Verdict is good as a secondary while running away, helps picking off small bugs that run up

    I feel nobody talks about the recoilless rifle correctly with the bots.
    It takes out turret cannon, bot drops (from any distance too, you can snipe the drop ships across the map), any heavy enemy, any tank, fabricators, literally anything. It is by far the strongest support weapon at higher difficulties and when it’s not in play you absolutely do notice the difference. It’s S tier.

    Q Cannon at A is criminal, my go to support in solo Lvl10 bug missions, leaving the backpack space clear for ammo, shield or guard dog is so useful. It takes everything out in 1 shot, then throw a 500g while it's cooling, and it'll be recharged before the explosion

    airburst RL will always be my baby against bugs. it's definitely a very situational weapon that you have to know when to use, but if you memorize the spread it can be pretty fun. not gonna say it's good, but it's more fun and engaging than just throwing another stratagem ball imo

    Recoilless in C is absolutely insane dude, it does significantly more damage than the Quasar and EAT allowing it to hit breakpoints much easier, not to mention you can use it to cut dropships in half or kill tanks with a single shot anywhere on them thanks their front armor nerf.

    My favorite loadout so far for the bugs is the dominator for primary,mg43 for secondary,500kg,orbital gatling, and mg turret. If you use this correctly, it will shred basically anything in its path.

    It really depends on your build to be honest. For the bugs I run armor that gives me extra grenades. I equip the crossbow, senator, and thermite grenades. For my stratagems I run 500 kg bomb, the orbital fire barrage, jet pack and the machine gun. I use the machine gun as my primary weapon, the crossbow to close bug holes and kill bile spewers. I use the senator as a back up when I don’t have time to reload. I use the thermites and 500 kg bomb to deal with chargers and bile titans. The orbital barrage for when a bug breach happens or there’s a lot of enemies. And finally last but not least I use the jet pack to traverse and get out of tricky situations. It’s really good after the buff. Try it out for yourselves

    In the bugs, if you pair a guard dog with the MG or even HMG with something explosive either primary or secondary to deal with titans and bug holes - all the sudden the MG is A tier.

    Fun Gas Fact:
    Gas Armor gives you 80% resistance against Gas = Stand in Gas = Die pretty quick.
    The Armor Bonus of HEAVY Gas Armor reduces the damage further = Stand in Gas = Small slivers of Life
    Combine Heavy Gas Armor with the Vitality Booster = Stand in Gas = Nuthin', you cool.
    This makes Gas Orbital and Gas Grenades very fun. Gas Grenades have no explosion damage, so you can just spike them at your feet, and/or run directly into your Gas Orbital. Bugs chase you inside and choke to death, while you gleefully destroy them and their entire hive from the safety of a massive gas cloud.

    I'm a big fan of laser as a range option and a quick infinite ammo clearing option for both bugs and bots. I run a mobility focussed range set with Eruptor, Laser, Thermite, and Jump Pack and it allows me to use eruptor and laser from the ranges I need while having options to get to higher ground or run from ambushes with pack and clear those lessers with laser.

    Good list. One things i would say is that a con you missed for the GL would be its susceptible to ammo hogging and may require a supply pack to use effectively. I agree that the airburst is probably the hardest and most inconsistent support to use in the game right now, it is hard to think of a way they can buff it.

      @@gyarados10it’s an airburst range triggered round so the flak won’t trigger in close range. Not sure the exact measurements of course. Still very new to this ammo. More testing needed.

    I'm happy to see some MG appreciation on bots. Many people write it off because it can't deal with Hulks and Tanks easily, but MG43 mains have had a lot of indirect buffs in that department with Thermites and the Senator. Yes, it's not a weapon that can do everything, but the MG43 excels at clearing everything less than a Hulk and you have strong, viable options to deal with everything it can't kill. Especially if you play with a team, you are one of the most vital players on the battlefield even if you aren't a one man army

    i dunno about bugs, but for bots, RR is easily S tier
    two things you didn't mention about it are that it takes bot dropships down if you hit the body, making it explode and kill everything smaller than a hulk on board, and that you can cancel reload early, exactly the moment you see it loaded on the UI, giving you a better fire rate than advertised
    I'd like to also add that support weapons that require a backpack also have an upside, which is that you don't have to bring a backpack strategem to be "optimal" about your equipment, freeing up a strategem slot

    Recoilless rifle is EASILY S-tier (at least vs the bugs). It allows you to handle much more heavy enemies than you can with anything else because you don't have to wait for painfully slow cooldowns. And, also, it does do more damage than the others (besides spear) as well. Which means it can one-hit shrieker spires, which is a huge pain point with the quasar. They should really make the quasar one-hit those.
    On higher difficulties, there are enough elites around that it's very helpful to have a RR on your team. Borderline mandatory with how powerful it is compared to other anti-tank options, unless you compensate for it by stacking more of the other options.

      @@kenethernandez6246 I don't have as much experience with bots (especially at higher levels) because of how un-fun they are to fight by comparison, so my friend group usually avoids them. Maybe after the changes in the new patch they'll be better, though. I'm sure I'll try them at some point.
      When I have played against bots, there were not as many heavy enemies due to the lower difficulty we played at compared to what I fight on the bug side, and I found that I generally preferred the autocannon because countering the medium enemies is much more critical. The bots have some really oppressive medium enemies that the autocannon counters well while also flexing to counter bigger enemies fairly well. But at a higher difficulty with more heavies I might feel differently. The RR definitely did a solid job of countering heavies when I did use it vs bots, though.

      @DroidFreak36 Understandable, but yeah, you get a lot of heavier enemies at difficulty 9 or 10. The thing is that you don't really need the autocanon for medium enemies anymore since the crossbow destroys them easily now and the purifier as well with this new patch. The RR is a better option since if 2 people on the team take them you can destroy a whole bot drop with assisted reload and say goodbye to your problems before they even start and it 1 shots any heavy the bots can throw at you.

      @@kenethernandez6246 From my experience shooting down bot drops is usually not a good play, because some of the enemies survive and now they're inside the body of the dropship, which makes them hard to finish off. Maybe in the latest patch it's better because of the wallhack fix, though.
      Every time I've tried it, it seems like it would have been easier to just kill all the enemies normally rather than deal with the pain of those survivors.

    Commando can oneshot hulks if you hit their eye, its also really easy to do. If arc thrower is A teir for the bugs than it is B teir for the bots. Its so much better against the bugs.

    I run stalwart for both. If used right it's great. It's not just about killing the bots. Suppression works on them. Use it like an actual lmg. Put rounds down range fast and accurate. And it can shred heavy armored foes if you hit the weak spot at the 1100 rpm.

    Space Carl Gustav is S tier if you are in a team against bots. If someone can cover you while reloading you can one shot basicaly every single possible target while having crowd controll backup. If your teamates suply you with extra ammo than you can just keep going and going.

    SLEEPING on that airburst cannon. I never used it before this weekend, and you can take out entire patrols pretty easily. Especially against bots. If they change it so you press/hold "fire" to fire, and then release to trigger explosion; it will quite literally be S tier. I've been bringing it into random teams and being very careful not to team kill, and I'm getting a couple hundred more kills than anyone while easily cleaning bot drops out. I'm a believer now....and I never thought I'd say that

      Well yeah, you hold the equivalent of a stratagem because the the Airburst IS a stratagem, so that's not saying much.
      But you could just be holding a better stratagem with automatic reload which doesn't take up your backpack slot instead, like Eagle cluster or Orbital airburst.
