    Joe you need to take those lovely padded Hoka's off and get some Nike Metcons - proper Gym training shoes - Tooooo spongy when lifting heavy weights plus you need a decent grip

    Make sure you do twice as many on your right leg so you are super fast on the track 😉

    These videos are golden ! Can’t wait to try them but I’m still scared of dead lifts because of lower back anxiety ! Xxxxxxxxxxxx

    I find a full squat is good for mobility, nothing too heavy these days. I also like an overhead squat, which really helps with the core plus single leg squats, with or without using a box or ball to lower down onto.
    Do you do any plyometrics Joe? Box jumps, bounding etc?

  • @stu09
    @stu09 4 роки тому +4

    Cheers joe, enjoyed that. How many sets/reps are you typically doing of exercise? With the weights are generally trying to push the max possible for those sets? Also curious if you find leg day DOMS to affect training for the other disciplines? Cheers man

    • @joeskipper91
      @joeskipper91  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Stuart, I think you need to start at lower weights and ideally have someone watch you that knows what they are doing to give you tips on technique. Once you get the technique right you can look to up it.
      With regard to doms I sometimes find I can feel a bit shit the day after. But after you’ve been doing it for a while it gets better and takes less out of you. The full session I did with weights and reps etc is in the description.
