    FAQ: (Questions that are asked to me OFTEN, will answer here)
    Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
    A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if UA-cam denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
    Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
    A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
    Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?
    A: Again, copyright reasons. I am watching the movie the normal way, it is only flipped for the video.

    One of the best non-action episodes in television history. Peter Dinklage's acting in this episode is phenomenal, especially during the 'confession' scene.

      I agree, now that you mention the "no action" part tho, it's insane to think that Succession delivered so many top tier episodes with no action in any of them

      I wish he won Emmy for this but was up against Aron Paul for Breaking bad last season in the second half which is probably why he lost. Both marvelous performances.

    I'm 90% certain that having Jaime resign the Kingsguard in order to save Tyrion was EXACTLY what Tywin was planning and hoping for all along. That's why he immediately agreed, and immediately laid ALL of the terms and steps that would come next. He'd just been waiting for Jaime to say the words.

    The cunning mind of Tywin Lannister. He didn’t know if Tyrion killed Joffrey, quite frankly he didn’t care. Joffreys death provided him with an opportunity to get what he’s always wanted. Jaime out of the Kingsguard and becoming Lord of Casterly Rock, fresh heirs to carry on the Lannister name, and Tyrion either banished to the wall or dead.

    I love Oberyn's retort to Pycell about his stock of poisons - such rambling.😆 I had also forgotten that Pycell brought the necklace in as evidence - thanks for including that scene in the edit.
    "...and your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth." and you say "Yeah, Cercei, you deserve it!" YES YES YES! The look on your face! Yes, a most excellent episode and reaction.

    That was really Tywin's main motivation in going along with the show trial. He didn't kill Joffrey, but in Joffrey's death he saw an opportunity to get Jaime out of King's Landing and have him start a family, aka the conversation they had at the start of the season. He calculated Jaime will fold under pressure to save his brother. It was all going along so smoothly until Tyrion threw a wrench in his plan and now it's going to be an absolute insane whirlwind of a ride.

    Little pockets of the North are still occupied by the Iron Born from the time of Theon's invasion during the War of the 5 Kings. From Roose and Ramsay's conversation a few episodes ago, the viewer is told that those Iron Born are mostly concentrated in Moat Cailin. The Boltons can't enter Winterfell and claim their seat as the Wardens of the North until Moat Cailin is cleared out. Ramsay's plan is to take over Moat Cailin by using Theon to his advantage. Once the remaining Iron Born are flushed out, the North is effectively Boltons'.

    It's so, so satisfying how Tywin thinks he's getting exactly what the wants the most - Jaime as his golden male heir, and Tyrion out of sight - only to have Tyrion snatch it away from him by demanding a trial by combat.

    Think about it this way. Little finger had Liza kill John and it wasn’t even really the catalyst for the war. It only made them suspicious, Bran finding Jamie and Cerse in the tower was the ignition. Then little finger use that opportunity to send an assassin and blame Tyrion causing Catlyn to capture him. I don’t think his original plan would have failed, but it would not have kicked off the war as fast as the opportunity of sending an assassin to kill brand and blaming a Lannister.

    9:55 - yes, his father was against needless killing and was overruled, but his father CHOSE to live a slaver city where no matter how kind he is, he's still living off slave labor. • @BhlackBishop
      @BhlackBishop Рік тому

      My thoughts as well. You knew there was someone out there freeing slave cities and yet you did nothing. You saw her arrive at your city gates and yet you still did nothing. If you were truly against the practice then how come not a single slave protected or vouched for you. Then you’re just like an armchair activist at that point; protesting slavery but still enjoying the riches and benefits it offers you. I still can't believe the nerve of Hizdahr calling it a "crime" when it's legal in your city to crucify kids. Slave or no, they're still kids and they died slowly and painfully, and for what, to send Dany a message not to mess with Meereen? Yeah no that is just morally reprehensible in any time period. Hizdahr should just be lucky he left that audience unscathed. Ned would've stripped him of all noble status.

    • @ScarlettM
      @ScarlettM Рік тому

      @@BhlackBishop Well, I still think Dany should not have crucified the masters without at least a hearing. Mass vengeance tends to be messy and unjust.
      What if one of the crucified masters is a spy from former slaves that has been send to help others? What if one of the masters is a slave that tried to hide his identity? What is one of the masters is only a guest of the city, dressed in the same fashion and he gets butchered while being innocent?

    • @BhlackBishop
      @BhlackBishop Рік тому

      @@ScarlettM Trial? What is this 21st century America. This is a medieval setting, when Stannis invaded KL he intended to execute Joff, Tommen, Cersei and Jaime (if he could get his hands on him), same way Robert and Ned executed the Greyjoy's. There was not going to be a trial.
      Like i said the Masters had the chance to leave. The sun was rising when Dany made her speech, meaning she gave them at least 12 hours before the invasion the next morning. Plenty of time to come to your senses yet they chose to stay, so at the end of the day you have no one to blame but yourself.
      And True this was vengeance not justice, Dany isn't the Attorney General or an elected democratic president, she is a Feudal Monarch with the "divine right to rule" and acts only in the interests of her constituents. If Missandei, Greyworm or the other former slaves of Meereen don't protest then she is free to exercise any prerogative as Queen.
