FAQ: (Questions that are asked to me OFTEN, will answer here)
Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if UA-cam denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?
A: Again, copyright reasons. I am watching the movie the normal way, it is only flipped for the video.

I love how EVERY episode you say... "I think this is my favorite episode" lol.. makes me laugh every time you say it because it just solidifies why this is an epic series.
"Lord Tywin Lannister, in the end, did not shit gold." One of my favorite lines from the books.
Someone who REALLY appreciates the music of GoT!!!
Also, no spoilers 💚💚💚
Your constant saying no spoilers only provokes jerks out there TO spoil.
@@GreatOldOne9866 Don’t worry, I get ‘em 😉
@@AmericanMumReacts are you a moderator or something? Like, do you delete comments to protect him from spoilers?
@@AmericanMumReacts MUUUUM. Been a while I last saw you. Once this series here is over, it's maybe time rewatching yours :)
@@GreatOldOne9866 yes I am 🤗
I think you're being unfair to The Hound. Brienne just came out of nowhere (holding Lannister gold) to take Arya. And Arya didn't want to go.
Maybe if they made Brienne stay with them to see if she is trustworthy and search to find Sansa together. But characters getting along and having happy adventures isn’t what GOT is about lol!
Also she is accompanied by Pod, who is still dressed as a Lanister squire and was working for Tyrion the last time the Hound saw him. Hound was 100 % in right.
Love your point of view. I didn’t think of that but I’m glad I read this comment.
The hound used to work for them too people change
@@mermaidreviews4693how would he know that though? And Sandor wasn’t the one wearing Lannister clothes
I always recall Littlefinger’s quote from Season 4 episode 7 after Tyrion kills Tywin:
“People die at their dinner tables. They die in their beds. They die squatting over their chamber pots...”
Joffrey's death, Shae's death and Tywin's
I thought of that when he was doing that episode--of course, we couldn't mention it then. 😆
A really good thing about this show is that the titles of the episodes refers to a lot of things… in this one the title refers to the story arc development of the Stark’s children (in particular the relationship between Sandor Clegane and Arya), but also the relationship of Tywin with Cersei, Jamie and Tyrion, the relationship between Daenerys and her dragon children (and they killed another child), and of course the children of the forest
I always appreciate when someone else takes the time to explain something before I have to 🤣
RIP Hound and Tywin. Victims of GRRM's pen.
RIP 🙏 Gone too soon
@@CurtalA lmao not gone soon enough
The Hound & Brienne fight is brutal. It's so stressful to watch because you don't want either of them to die. It's just like ...guys, could we not have had a conversation about this 😭😭
It was like he was watching Mom and Dad fight
@@KSDVLmom battle for custordy, literally ahah
Tyrion saying "thank you for my life" always makes me tear up.
he's not only talking about Jaime saving him now, he mean ALL his life, Jaime was the only one who treated him normally and was a brother to him ...
Fusion, almost every episode: "I think this is one of my favorite episodes of the series"
I doubt he will continue to say the same in the coming seasons.
@@6alcantara You might be surprised. His favorite show is The Walking Dead, and the fans are super split when it comes to that show. Some think the first 2 seasons are the only good ones, and others think seasons 9-11 are the best, etc.
@@6alcantara Seasons 5, 6 and 8 were amazing, season 8 easily being my favorite. Season 7 had some cool moments too.
@@distantraveller9876 I'm not saying they were bad per se, but definitely not better that season 4. In the technical aspect, they are some of the seasons we've seen on television, the acting was always great, and yes, they have very cool scenes. But it's the writing that just makes them bad, especially compared to the previous 4 seasons.
I feel like the Hound is one of the most under appreciated characters in this show!
The hound in b is absolutely criminal even in season 4. He’s 100% an S, him and Arya probs the shows best duo
Are you talking about critics or something? Because among regular viewers he definitely isn't. Just look at 90% of reactors, who say "I love the Hound" in just about every episode he's in.
@@piratsnygg most dudes don't understand what underappreciated or underrated means so they just throw it out as a "this is my favorute :3" replacement
Op is one of those people
@@PizzaRatJC First of all, I'm not a dude, right.
Second of all, I know exactly what under appreciated means and I used it exactly the way it's meant to be used.
And third of all, the reason I said it is because I've watched quite a few of these reactions now, and yeah, they say they like the hound, but I've never seen him be anyone's top tier favourite character, also, most of his bits seem to get heavily cut down or taken out all together. Not to mention the amount of people I've heard say "Well it was his fault that he got killed by Brienne".
@@Rissa0410 you do know "not putting him in the top tier means he's underappreciated" and "i like him the most :3" are the same thing, right? The hound is cool as a character but he's not being underappreciated at all hy being put below people like tywin or cersei, get a grip. Go have a wank to the actor and come back with a clear head
It tortures Hodor every time Bran wargs into him. Bran senses him in there, cowering in a corner of his own mind like a beaten dog. It is torment for him, especially when Bran makes him commit acts of violence.
Probably my favorite finale in the series. Episodes 8-10 probably my favorite run of episodes. Season 4 is TRULY amazing. The music in this show is always top notch. Great review of another great episode
" I'm kinda of sad it's going to be over eventually " - Well you're going to wish you hadn't watched it when it ends , This was the peak GOT season in my opinion .
Yeah goes downhill from here.
The interesting part about this episode is that the title could be interpreted in so many different ways. Almost every storyline could be tied back to the title in one way or another.
only until The Children (of the forest) appear
It was Drogon out there eating children and livestock. Rhaegal and Viserion were the least rebellious.
It’s made clear that Drogon is the most aggressive, scary and wild of the three.
And biggest.
Actually when you think about it the Hound was in the right when he fought Brienne.
Like he doesn’t know who she is and for all he know she could be working for the Lannister
These videos are instant clicks when I get the notification, I’m so excited to see your reaction to the rest of the series!
Same here.
Good video but Sandor B??, the same tier as Bran, Daario and Gilly etc is wild... His dynamic with Arya is S tier and he had so many great scenes, the fight against the lannister soldiers in episode 1, his backstory in episode 7 etc
LOL i love how your pleading for Brienne and the Hound to not fight is like a boy trying ot stop his parents bickering just before they say theyre gonna get a divorce lol. btw ive loved your GoT reactions my man!
I’ve been loving your journey through Game of Thrones. I especially like how much you appreciate the music in this series. There aren’t many reactors that even mention the music so it’s refreshing to see! The music, the performances, and the writing are what make this show special.
Yess, music is something I feel a lot of people overlook, but it's SOOO important
The three eyed raven:
"You will never walk again bran, but you will fly".
The moon door opens.
Season 5 is very slow but really underappreciated imo. Its about the good drama and buildup to the intense payoffs
Your enthusiasm for this show is so refreshing to watch
This episode aired on Father's day 🤣
you're soo real for putting all the lannisters in s tier... you'd love Succession
Always fun to watch these great episodes with you!
About Shae‘a motivations: in an early episode, Tyrion told her “You think you can f**k your way out of anything.” Then when Cersei pointed her out to Tywin he said “Have her brought to my chambers before the wedding.” So my theory is she was captured and then seduced Tywin so as not to be hanged, as he said he would. Then to continue her survival strategy, she testified against Tyrion. Throwing in those extra humiliating details was from him humiliating her by calling her a whore. He was the first person in her life that saw her as a human being, and for him to take that away was too much for her.
the issue with Shae plot, is theres too many gaps. It looks more Shae did it out spite then more for survival. It sounded like D&D change Shae character and later, they realized "oh, we need to make shae like in the books, for her death and tywin's". Its like Tyrion confronting Tywin. There was no reason for him to do it. Risking the chance of escaping, for what? To confront him with "I hate you father!" mentality? who read the books, know why Tyrion went confront Tywin, which had had been in the show. To Show us, how cruel Tywin could be, and the lie that Tyrion lived all of this time, and also how easily Jaime can be influenced by others, but his deep core, Jaime is not a bad person. Back to Shae, we can only assume she did it for survival, but easily could had been Shae came to Tywin after Tyrion was put into jail. Seduce him and out of spite saying that would testify against Tyrion.
@@cassandramcbride7007 We know Cersei had Shae brought to her in a previous episode.
Kkkkk
I will never get tired of you noticing the music. 🥰
I saw this episode pop up on my home page and realized there was a new reactor for GoT. This is also one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. I binged from season 1 episode 1 up to this point in like 4 days!
Thank you so much for watching them!!
Hound saw lannister sword with brienne ofcourse he believes brienne is working with lannisters.. he didnt fight with brienne cause he has temper issues . He was protecting arya from whom he thought was lannister person
This is my second favorite season finale. I feel so much for Tyrion in that moment.
My other favorite is responsible for my ringtone and alarm 😂😂😂😂
This has to be one of the greatest episode in television history. The music, the story, the writing, the acting, the emotional roller coaster! Everything was there. I love this and feel so sad knowing what the show came to be 😭
My dude, the show just gets better and better...
fun fact, Tywin probably would have died anyway, Oberyn most likely poisoned him. One of the poisons Pycelle mentions was stolen causes peoples bowels to shut down, and that seems like a random thing to mention, until you realize Tywin had been in the bathroom long enough that Shae had fallen asleep. It's never been confirmed, but I love to think Oberyn got the last laugh.
Oh damn, I never thought of this but what a great theory.
John crying over Ygritte 😢
In the books Mance’s defeat is even more epic as Stannis does it with like four thousand men. He doesn’t have sellswords just what’s left after the blackwater.
"Few of the birds that Aemon had sent off had returned as yet. One reached Stannis, though. One found Dragonstone, and a king who still cared."
Was so hyped to see this reaction, so many awesome moments! thanks for your reactions to another great season!!
That scene with the old man wanting to sell himself back into slavery, has to hurt for Dany... The one with the dead child was more emotional of course, but I think the other one may be just as hurtful; The dead child was just Dany misjudging her dragons, thinking they would behave and all, then realizing they don't.
But the one with the old man... That's Dany realizing that the new world she built, is worse than slavery to some of these people.
S4E1 - Two Swords is nicely "wrapped up" here with the meeting of Brienne with Oath Keeper and Arya with Needle. When the fight started Arya immediately climbed the rock and watched it all. If you look at the outcrop in the background you can get a sense of how she evaded Pod.
Although The Children are literally shown in this episode, each scene includes a reference to children in some way: the Lanister "children", Jon, the dragons (Yes!), etc.
I hope you keep the tier lists for each season they are a lot of fun
Great reaction my guy!!! What a crazy episode and season in all. I’m so in love with this universe, and it really is a great time to be a GoT fan (I think the future shows are gonna be fantastic). I can’t wait to see the rest of your reactions to this show and more. Thanks ❤
Hey I’m loving this channel and your gaming channel! Big fan from Ireland 🇮🇪 🤘🏽💯
Manticore venom comes from that mantis looking creature that almost stung Dany while in Astapor, saved by Bariston Selmy.
There's no way you couldn't tell whose army that was in the begining when you kept noting how much you love that certain Baratheon leitmotif. My guy, an avid fan of the show and books like me can sniff a rehearsed reaction from a mile away.
So you think this reaction is "rehearsed" because I wasn't immediately able to tell whose army that was? How does that make any sense to you?? lmaoo
The music was there but not as strongly clear as its been before. I did have a feeling it was Stannis but I prefer not to jump to conclusions.
The skeletons fighting. I guess you never saw Jason and the Argaunts? For a young kid in the 60's, that was the coolest thing ever!
Your reactions literally make my day ❤
FINALLY! A reactor makes a comment on music.
I will never get tired of those soundtracks.
I feel like this has been the best reaction video of the series. I had forgotten a lot of this had happened. Can’t wait to see what you think of the rest of the series
Your "Who the hell is this!?" Cracked me up lol
Aemon in C tier is a hate crime
Beyond underrated. My favourite episode of the show right here
I think shae’s true motives were intentionally left vague. From the viewer’s perspective, and from Tyrion’s, we are left to wonder if she was forced into betraying Tyrion for her own survival or if she had been insincere all along and colluding with Tywin. Or, lastly, if she was just deeply hurt and discarded by Tyrion and wanting revenge. I think this ambiguity makes her character much more interesting and it also is the catalyst for why Tyrion murders her in a moment of rage because he too doesn’t understand the extent of her betrayal. It wasn’t simply just because she was there. Very misunderstood character in my opinion. Many people hate shae at the end and are happy to see her die but it’s actually very tragic for both of them. Tyrion even says “I’m sorry” because he’s conflicted about what he’s done and if she deserved it.
Every episode like: I think this is my favorite episode
😅
we have 15 episodes in top 5
I'm sorry, but we did need that. It was epic.
This was definitely one of my favourite reactions of yours to the whole show so far. I forgot just how epic this season finale is. Thank you!
Stannis military IQ is second to none. Out numbered and still won. One true king.
This episode was great!! So excited for you to watch the next season!
He was so unstable in The Hound vs Brienne 😂
He didn't wanna kill Shae, he was defending himself. She went for the knife as soon as she saw him.
I love my girl Brienne but let's be real, The Hound was already weakened. If he was full strength it would've ended differently. What an episode! Can't wait for you to react to next season 😊
I love the nod to Ray Harryhausen’s skeletons from Jason and the Argonauts ❤
Great episode, great reaction. Pretty much agree with your character ranking but I expect a couple to rise in future rankings. Definitely read the books once you finish the show. Also glad they plan on making The Hedge Knight stories.
As of now (52:07), seeing Janos slynt next to my boys Edd, grenn and pyp is really guzzling my gonads.
Me too! Those 3 are A tier for me...and Janos Slynt might be the most worthless, sniveling coward ever. He can kill babies, but when it comes to battle he hides like a wussbag.
"This is Tywins room!"
Lol I was glad you didn't need to see a 5x7 framed photo of his family by his bedside to recognize it was his room like some reactors I've seen
The Three-Eyed Raven is a fascinating character. He was, in his time, one of the most powerful and feared men in Westeros. His Name *was* Brynden Rivers, but he was better known as Lord Bloodraven. Also known as the King's Sorcerer, he served as Hand of the King and Master of Whisperers to multiple Targaryen kings. He was one of several bastard children of King Aegon IV.
After breaking a treaty and taking the head of his adversary, King Aegon V exiled him to the Wall for murder. After several years there, he was made 1st Ranger, then elected Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, where he served 13 years before disappearing beyond the Wall, where Bran finds him under the Weirwood.
One of the best episodes of this series. Great reaction.
I think Shay was mainly feeling scorned for being sent away
i love how you love Stannis' theme music... it is pretty damn epic... love the red woman's too, or more specifcally the lord of light theme
man i hope that they paid ramin djwadi out the nose for this show’s music. he fucks so hard for house of the dragon too, you’re gonna love it
and the addition of the honest trailer at the end of this one was a great touch lmao
Absolutely fantastic episode, Game of Thrones at it's finest!!
Absolutely!!! The score on this show is amazing! Cool, that you are one of those people who appreciate the music of GoT! This show is the best! Cinematography, music, acting, characters, story! Record breaking most emmys for a drama-fantasy series! 59!
I don't think you have any idea how much fun it is to watch someone experiencing this show for the first time that *_gets it_* . I don't think I breathed much leading up to Tyrion's entrance to the bedroom and the privy. Then Arya sailing off was the perfect end to the season. I'm so very glad you've discovered my favorite piece of modern theatrical art.
S4 is fun. Looking forward to my personal fav season next tho 🖤
Keep up the excellent work 🤩
The best rhing about this episode is that they skipped a day of the show airing, just so they could show patricide on fathersday.
I think everything was very clearly explained with regard to Shae. Nothing she did was out of character in my opinion. Go back and watch episode 4x2. It pretty much explains why Shae lied at the trial and why Tywin was sleeping with her.
Let me explain if you don't want to watch the episode:
At the feast before the wedding, Cersei points at Shae and says to Tywin "She's the whore I told you about" and Tywin says "Have her brought to the Tower of the Hand before the wedding".
Right after, Tyrion and Shae gets into the argument where he tells her to leave. Tyrion made Shae cry, she was hurt by his words. Shae was just told by Tyrion that he never really loved her. She was just a whore and wasn't fit to bear his children. So, when she gets to the Tower of the Hand, she obviously accepted whatever offer Tywin gave her. Later, when Tyrion gets accused of poisoning Joffrey, Tywin easily (I assume) convinces Shae to lie at the trial.
I guess she wasn't smart enough to know that Tyrion was only saying cruel things to get her to leave, for her safety. He didn't mean them.
Best reactions ❤
This is a fantastic reaction of yours! Your facial expressions, your voice, your exclamations and your commentary!
Some highlights for me of your reactions: 12:47 - 12:53 with the incest scene; 23:09 - 23:30 when Brienne and Clegane start to fight; 29:45 - 31:30 when he confronts and kills Tywin.
No one will ever be upset with you ranking characters high, we love them all too 😅
Charles Dance played the perfect Tywin
Melisandre did say that this was the real war, not the one down South.
36:16 idk i personally thought the scene was pretty important for Jaime's character development. If we never got sick then we would always take our health for granted. Without the bad you truly can't appreciate the good. This is a man who pushed a kid to their death and slept well that night, but this is also a man who was willing to sacrifice everything to save millions of lives in King's Landing. Like Stannis said, "A good act does not wash out the bad, nor a bad act the good. Each should have its own reward." All Humans are products of our environment; as long as Jaime continues to remain in that environment then his light will continue to dim. We've seen that Jaime is/can be a massive pile of dog poop but we know that that's not all he is. Such is the duality, flaws and complexity of man, which i believe is the entire point the book author intends for Jaime's character. So imo that scene was very much needed as a sharp reminder that while Jaime is a Hero, that's not all he is. And that's what makes Jaime a fan favorite and one of the most interesting characters in the show, S tier no doubt. Somewhat similar to another great fictional character from Avatar the Last Airbender, a goated series for the channel if you haven't seen it already. cheers 👉
"This shows not gonna be the same after this"
I know 😞😞
Just heads up that the Three-Eyed Raven (old man in a tree) was recast with legendary actor Max von Sydow for season 6
You may wanna take that down. A bit of a spoiler for him there.
ffs thats not a spoiler...
@@GreatOldOne9866 That’s not a spoiler; he’s going to notice a big difference. He was made aware of Daario being recasted before so… 😉
@@AmericanMumReacts ahh, well another channel I’m subbed to are pretty strict about spoilers. They always say that if it hasn’t happened in the show, or they haven’t seen it, then it hasn’t happened, and that includes recasting and new actors.
But this channel isn’t theirs, so I guess rules are a little different lol
@@GreatOldOne9866That's not a spoiler.
Also, Brienne drew her sword, first.
As a book nerd from way back, I can promise you that you won't regret reading the books. Season One is close to a perfect adaptation, for what it included. Seasons 2 through 4 become more different to the books as a result of merging some characters, removing others completely, and reworking or ignoring secondary plots. Seasons 5 through 8 are almost entirely created from awesome CGI and acting, as the show runners ran out of source material (seriously George, get a move on!), and the deviations become almost impossible to connect back to the books.
Game of Thrones had 8 seasons based on the incomplete series A Song of Ice and Fire with 5 books (so far) making up (depending on editions) around 4,500 pages, requiring many things being altered or removed.
House of the Dragon (which is also phenomenal) looks to be set for 4 seasons and the source material is only a handful of chapters within the fictional history Fire and Blood. This has given the show creators a complete framework to work within, in terms of overall plot and important moments, while giving them a great deal of freedom in terms of enriching characters and their motivations.
If you ever do pick up the books, I invite you to visit the book corner of youtube, where the fans have been doing some wonderful things for years - from first and single time readers, through re-readers, up to the UBER-geeks whose theorizing can blow your mind (my personal favourites of these are History of Westeros, and Radio Westeros).
"The children": The episode is about the children of the forest, of course, but also about the dragons (Daenerys' children), and Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion (Tywin's children, as he himself referred to them). Tyrion did not expect to find Shae in Tywin's chambers. He went there because he had some unfinished business with his father and finding Shae just made things worse. I completely agree with you about the Lannisters: they are the most interesting, deepest and well written characters in the whole show.
This is in my top 5 best episodes, I love it so much!, I know that "The children" refers to the children of the forest Bran meets. But it always resonated with me as I see the show as a whole, more like a passing to the next generation story. The children are the dragons, Bran, Arya, even Cercei, Jamie and Tyrion who lost their father, it is the children finally entering the next chapter on their own, at least that is how I see it
Possibly the best episode so far
Brienne vs. The Hound HAD TO HAPPEN! And it was GLORIOUS, stop your sniveling and enjoy it.
This season entirely was a massive game changer on all fronts. That's how you know it's the best season of the show.
Even on the books it’s never clear what Shae’s real feeling were
Meereen is pronounced like a soldier. Marine. But with a touch more E than A on the first syllable.
I think Cersei hates Pycelle more than you do 😂
Now that you got past this you need to look up the deleted scene bwteen pycelle and tywin. Trust me, it'll be the first thing that pops up and adds a lot of context to the old fart's character. There are no spoilers since it's from tywin was still... you know
They are also referring to the Children of the Forest.
i always feel a little bad for Tywin after Cersei tells him about her and Jaime
Season 4 is the peak of this show, absolutely amazing. Even if you stopped here, you can just imagine all the amazing things to happen next (some of which did come to pass, but mostly not unfortunately...)
This really showed the depths of Shae's betrayal. The whole time, not only was Tywin giving Tyrion hell for having a whore, but then he goes and smashes that same whore all the same, and has her even testify against Tyrion and STILL Tywin keeps smashing her. That is so fucked up.
I don't know how you feel about people mentioning details that were omitted from the show (if you do not want to know, I apologize, and you may stop reading this comment!)
...
There was an interesting thing cut from the Jaime/Tyrion scene; In the books, Jaime reveals that Tysha (the girl Tyrion married after the event "set up" by Jaime), was actually legit. Tywin forced Jaime to lie to him about setting the whole thing up. She was genuine. And Tyrion confronts his father about it, before killing him.
I imagine they cut it out because the fans may not remember Tysha, so they made the whole thing about Shae instead.
(Also, Tyrion is so angry about learning this, that he tells Jaime HE killed Joffrey. But Jaime still let him leave, even though Tyrion - allegedly - killed his son. Felt like he owed him that).
While it may loo like a minor change (people don't really care about Tysha), this scene completely changed their dynamic; On the show they parted ways while loving each other still (brotherly love) but in the original scene, Tyrion hates Jaime's gut for the Tysha stuff, even saving his life didn't make up for that.
