I am Italian and I am lucky enough to live in Rome and get to know the Shop and fragrances of the Durante family . They are all exceptional, impossible to choose one!!! Thanks for this video.
Hello, really lucky you! May I please know what are the common prices for a full bottle in Italy? Ive got 4 Profumums so far and yes it`s impossible to have just one. Im after Fumidus, Rosae Mundi, Battito d Ali, Arso and one more back up Ambra Aurea. Are there any warnings there? :) Thank you.
@@ScentedMoments Dear João, Thank you for your wonderful videos! You made me so interested in Profumum Roma Ambra Aurea, that I ordered a decanted 10 ml right away. I cannot express how much joy, comfort, and coziness it's bringing to me every day! You deserve all the likes and super likes in the world!
One of the best houses, I own many and love most of them Fumudis is also great along the lines of Patchouli and Ambre. Thanks for the excellent review and showcasing g this outstanding house.
Great reviews, so much passion. My first love was acqua di zucchero which got me really hooked. My latest adiction is olibanum. One of the best houses for sure.
@@vantheman9684I have not tried those yet, but they are on my radar :) I also have Amante (mentioned in the video) which is amazing and a bottle of Antico Caruso (not recommended at full price to be honest). My latest pick up is Battio d'Ali. You have to try it, it has quickly become one of my favourites from the brand. Very unique and comforting.
My favorite are Acqua Viva, great natural lemon, and Thundra, very green special, this reminds me my childhood in summer, good old memories of the Mom's village.
This is a wonderful house n as a patchouli lover wat I feel is, if anyone tries this patch, they will never go seek for another one. Similarly why is this house is not talked about much is, they don't sponsor any channel to promote them coz there QUALITY speaks laud........nice collection
One of my favourite houses, I've too many to choose from 😂 I love all my babies equally. But great to see what others gravitate towards from the same house. Hope all is well with you and yours 🙏
I have tested Acqua di Sale and I can confirm its realistic aquatic scent, with incredible longevity. Its on my wishlist and for sure I will look into this house for more gems. :)

I wonder what you think of Arso. It is my go-to in the colder months, where Victrix, Olibanum work in warmer months, but summer - Acqua di Sale all the way!!! Thanks for the video
Yes this a great house. I have Aqua De Sales and it is addictive as is Aqua Viva. Both which I own as Victrix which in still trying out. Need to get my hands on more. Wow great review😎 great line up.
Joào hope your safe & healthy. I hear your area is having a rough time. Here is the USA 🇺🇸 it’s beginning to be a war. Working in the medical field we feel like “foot soldiers.” 😷 Crazy times. I have Acqua Di Sale, Acqua Viva, & Ambra Avrea. Looks like more to look for.
Hello my friend! Everything's ok with me and my own, but yes, we are low key following the steps of Italy. They are expecting that the virus will reach it's pick around the second week of April, but it's a hard guess imo. I saw the news about California and New York, already being locked up. Everyone who's working in the medical field are true heroes! Just like the ones who are working in the supermarkets. Indeed, crazy times! Wonderful collection!! Stay safe James! 🙏🙏
Im a fan of amber, so I should put my nose on Ambra aurea. For Amber lovers, you should heck Fort and Manle Amber Absolutely. Talking about PR, I do love Battito d'alli. Dammmmmmm!!!!! Congrats on your 5k Joao!

Just got Olibanum. Seems to have a similar scent profile, on my skin, with the discontinued Gucci Pour Homme I. Definitely will be looking more into this house.
Great review, this is a powerful house. Have you tried Orangea? Is a very unique scent. I have to try the new collection and especially "Amante". Thanks.
Hey there Joao. I'm fairly new to fragrances, only have been looking into them for maybe 4 months now. I feel i have a respectable mini collection already of fragrances solely of Niche Houses. Before i ask for this piece of advice, i really have to say, of all of the fragrance reviewers I've found on UA-cam here, i have found your taste and the style in which you review is the best. I go to your videos first for advice and opinions on fragrances and really would like to thank you for doing this. I feel i have a few holes in my mini collection here and i was wanting to fill one of the gaps. Gourmand. I see Dulcis In Fundo as the gourmand in this list but, i'm not sure if i want the only gourmand to be a creamsicle though. Can you recommend any other gourmands from Profumum Roma? I grabbed Ambra Aurea already and I'm over the moon with it's presence. Was one of my 14 blind buys and each have been beyond amazing. I see you mention Sorriso at the end of this video and i think i remember you mentioning it in another video. Chocolate pudding with orange peel on top if i remember correctly. I appreciate all the guidance man. Many Thanks. Lee
I wonder, is Patchouly anything like Montale patchouli leaves? Because I don't much like that one. It smells basically like a simple patchouli essential oil, if a but sweeter. Not too special
Terrific reviews-- you described all the fragrances with which I'm familiar REALLY well. So this means that 1+1= I can trust your reviews of the fragrances which I HAVEN'T tried. I'm excited to try a few of these as a priority and made many notes in my bedside journal. Thank you for sharing your communication skills, imaginative language and product knowledge. I really enjoy Dulcis in Fundo and find that there is simply no 'dupe' out there, nothing to compare it to with any real degree of accuracy. Creed's 'Sublime Vanille' is an example of how to construct a terrible citrus-vanilla and Dulcis in Fundo is a masterclass. My quick review for anybody reading this in the future who is yet to try it: Think of hot clementine syrup which is poured over a vanilla sponge cake to make a really damp, hot drizzle cake. The bitterness of the citrus rind is perfectly matched by the bitterness of a burnt sugar note, very harmonious and full of depth and interest. Ultra realistic. This merges into the smell of hot bubbling marmalade on the stove. Still slightly bitter but the gourmand note starts to come out, the caramel sugar cake base. Very dense in the same way that I'd refer to Insulo by Jeroboam's odd gourmandy bitter-sweet-denseness. Lastly, and this is the most fun: I am transported to a summer holiday in Italy. The cobblestones are still hot to the touch at 7pm. The light is ambery gold and I'm wearing sunglasses and stepping out of a bakery, thrilled that I got their last homemade cake of the day. I think it's a kind of pannetone, it smells just like that anyway. The candied orange you get in those Italian cakes, bitter but sweet enough. The bitterness in this orange-vanilla abstract kind of gourmand fragrance is NOT bitter in the petitgrain/bitter orange way. I must stress that. The bitterness is about baking ingredients, they're so realistic so we can stay in the kitchen and not go anywhere near grandfather's bathroom cabinet with all his soaps and tonics and bitter citrus chypre splashes :D. No, this is simply the most wonderful hot orange syrup-cream cake fragrance. And I'd also excitedly suggest that it's a perfectly unisex gourmand. A gourmand that a big burly man could wear out on an Italian summer holiday during the day as well as for evening. My only area of uncertainty is which season most people would say it would be best suited to or evocative of. What do you think? Is it high summer, footloose and fancy free? Or is it more autumn or Christmas time to you? At a glance it would intellectually make sense to see Dulcis in Fundo as a Christmas time fragrance, y'know, all that festive referencing of 'hot orange syrup cake' makes people think of mulled wind and spiced fruit cake but to me, it hasn't got the dense woods and spices for me to think of cold weather and fireplaces. No spices. A magical, happy, holiday gourmand. Dulcis in Fundo smells like how sunshine looks to a 6 year old kid. :) PS= If someone wants to smell like orange in a thirst-quenching, realistic, freshly squeezed juice form (gulped down whilst standing in a 5-star hotel's dressing room whilst smelling your own freshly shampooed hair) then definitely try Di Ser's 'Adameku'. Safest blind buy for you this spring. :)
