Hi! Thanks for making this video. This really helps a lot. But i'm wondering if there is a Diptyque version of Gucci Guilty, or a Diptyque version of Dior Addict. 🤔
I love Diptyque. Their passion for product development, their eye for the details, the aesthetically pleasing packaging and shops. Plus, every sale assistant in any boutique I've visited has been more than nice. Somehow, after all these years, they managed to keep the spirit of the brand that was founded by three completely different people.
Not really... jo Malon has VERY bad longevity for the price and bad projection. Dyptique on the other hand, is the opposite... imo they're no comparable at all
Diptyque is Bohemian Chic. Its artistry is rooted in a sense of place where its founders travelled to and lived. So imaginative! L'Ombre Dans L'Eau, Volutes, and Oyedo are my favorites. I recently purchased Eau des Sens and Eau Capitale. I will get L'Autre in the fall.
South Korea loves Diptyque. You can always smell one on the subway in Seoul. I tried samples of Eau Duelle, Philosykos, Do Son, and L’ombre dans L’eau. Great stuff. There was a Diptyque sale recently, and I got bottles of Philosykos edp and Eau Duelle edt.
South korea! I don't usually look for perfume reviews because perfumes are so expensive. Until i saw that IU uses Eau des sens, even though she once said she doesn't like fragrance. That means this one must really smell good!
Hi south korea! Indonesia here! My first diptyque which just came 2 minutes ago (literally this afternoon), is Tam dao. And i knew it from D.O exo lol. And wow, you have Diptyque sale there???? Wow lucky you! They will never go on sale here in indonesia
Yeah I noticed that I was wondering how come there is always a diptyque perfume in south Korean people's favorite lists! I watch perfume reviews randomly and that kpop artist Jessica interview came to my recommendation one of her favorite perfumes was diptyque and after that every perfume reviews I watched if it was a south korean there was a diptyque perfume in it and I thought these people must really like this brand.
Thank you very much for featuring diptyque! Manila is blessed to have several boutiques that carry their fragrances. Because of our tropical heat, for me Eau des Sens, Tempo, Fleur de Peau, and Geranium Odorata are on the top of my list. Eau de Lierre too, because it reminds me of the old Gap Grass. Love, love, love this video! Keep on churning amazing work!
Diptyque is the only house that has not a single scent released that I actually dislike. Its crazy how refined, beautiful and sometimes modernly vintage their fragrances are. I‘d sometimes wish they had better performance though, most of their fragrances are rather average in that regard.
Diptyque is where I began my interest in niche houses, along with Czech and Speake. I have been wearing L'eau Trois since the mid-eighties. It has to be one of the finest herbaceous scents in the world. L'eau, Tam Dao and Benjoin Boheme are also current faves with an honorable mention of Vetyverio EdP.
Philosykos is one of the few fragrances that everyone could not like and I’d say “you’re crazy, it’s amazing.” Do Son is one of my top fragrances of life as well.
Nice video! I am from South Korea, and Diptyque is currently very popular here. I am glad that Eau Capital is one of your favorites! I cannot agree more, and I do love it so much too. Wonderful Dark Rose I'd ever seen. I do wear it every day. It is quite unique :> I guess Korean people are favoring others like Eau Rose, Do Son or Fleur de peau.. Anyway, thank you for a great review :D
Without doubt one of the most thorough reviewers on UA-cam. What great content! Only ever had experience with one Diptyque fragrance that was a sample of Tam Dao. Probably the first niche I ever put my nose on. Thought it was lovely, so smooth and refined. Will at some point get a bottle. I am sure they will be a great house.
Great and informative video! I love Diptyque perfumes, already own Philosykos and Eau Duelle fragrances, plus Eau Des Sens hair mist. I will definitely purchase Eau Des Sens next summer, it's gorgeous.
So I just bought Volutes. It’s so good on, but when I layered it with the 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain EDP it blew my mind! An outrageous fruity tobacco bomb to die for!
L'Ombre Dans L'Eau is an experience! So much more than merely a very "green" perfume! It's not trite, flirty roses; it's the entire garden beside a small lake at the edge of a mysterious (but not evil) forest! So amazing!
You've convinced me I must try Oud Palao. From what you've said, I may well prefer it to Oud Ispahan, and that would make it take my money! Thanks for the tip Sebastian! Keep doing what you do!
Thank you for featuring Volutes! It's honestly one of my favorite tobacco fragrances of all time with the iris focus, honey, and cinnamon. I get that fruitiness too -- it's a cherry/almond blossom w tonka. Sooooooo lovely! So underrepresented.
Sebastian, you are by far the best reviewer on UA-cam, I get so much knowledge from your reviews and açtually blind purchased some fragrances. And truth be told, I have never been disapointed! Warm thanks Sebastian, from a French guy, married to a Christian Lebanese girl ! Yalla!!
You can never go wrong with either edt and edp version of Philosykos. Edt just has that fresher, more zesty vibe while the edp has a more muted but sustained potency. Either way, both are long lasting. Eau des Sens is the best orange blossom fragrance for me. The only orange scent which is long lasting.
Just bought Tam Dao today and i think all of Diptyque's fragrances are all good and im addicted to it, but i took n chose this just because its woody and tobacco-ey. Only money would be an issue since it costs me around RM699 (Malaysian Ringgit) and it's expensive and luxury. Surely will get more from this awesome house! Btw i loved your reviews and will always have your videos for my reference in the future
You just clinched it for me!!! I've had my eye on Benjoin Boheme for about one year now...and here you have it as your number one...and that just convinced me to make it my next fragrance splurge!! We share the same love for that oriental benzoin resinous accord. I'm curious if you were also a fan of discontinued M7 by Yves Saint Laurent? That's my favorite fragrance family, but with more resinous benzoin accord and less oud. Recently purchased Ambre Russe by Parfum D'Empire...not bad...just wished they used amber instead of too sweet ambergris. Xoxo
Hi! I LOVED this video! Diptyque is one of my favorite houses and now I so many more on my want list 😂. Eau Duelle, Do Son and 34 Blvd and Fleur de Peau are my favorite so far. Tempo will be my next buy I think. Thanks for the great ideas ❤️
Ok Fact, i did not watch this video until after my purchase today I checked out a lot of diptyque scents and made my first purchase from them which stood out the most to me and guess what it was Benjoin boheme!! Also loved eau mage! This house is 👏🏼 awesome
Wonderful review on this house! My one and only Diptique is Do Sans and you nailed the description. It’s very green and like nothing else I have ever smelled.. I highly recommend and I can’t wait to try more
We have the same favorite. Benjoin Boheme is absolutely magical. Diptyque is my favorite perfume house, and you did a great job of breaking down their scents. Eau de Lierre is another favorite, and I like to pair it with Oyedo. Thanks for the video!
Fleur de peau I’ll have to try again it goes very powdery on my skin. Eau de Lierre is my favorite scent to layer. I also own Eau Capital I layer that with a very cool oriental peach Chypre that I had created for me. ( top notes are citrus, peach and muget. Mid notes are vanilla, black pepper and patchouli with a sub note of vetiver)I think Peach and rose is a very underrated combo especially when grounded in a Chypre
I swear! every time I buy or think of buying a fragrance, you post a video on it or the house... You must be psychic! I just bought Oud Paloa yesterday... Let's see if it makes your list!
Great video! I love Eau Capitale and Eau Rose but currently I’m not enjoying Benjoin Boheme. Benjoin Boheme has been rebottled so it’s in the standard bottle now like all the other bottles. I still have 75ml remaining of the original if you are interested it’s on Fragrantica review of Benjoin Boheme. I’m willing to swap also. London based
I really enjoyed this review of Diptyque fragrances. I have several fragrances in my collection and there are times I get compliments ether from a man or a woman depending on the fragrance I’m wearing. But when I put on my only Diptyque fragrance Oud Palao which I purchase back in 2017 after watching your review I always get compliments from both man and a woman. I’m a patchouli lover so I’m going to purchase a bottle of Tempo again thank you for your review.
I’ve gone through several bottles of L’eau de Neroli. I’ve taken a break for a bit, but I love it. I’ve had about 5 on your list. Baies candle and room spray, are loves of mine. I love the Opoponax candle! So sad they’ve moved from the cute space on Maiden Ln.
Been waiting for this one!! Such a great video as always :) Also you have included all my favourites and I do have to say Benjoin Boheme is my number 1 from this house too..
Awesome rundown on the fragrances. I own EAU DUELLE (Vanilla yes) and Philosykos EDT is on the way. I'm thankful to have a Dyptique Boutique in our Nordstroms in Minneapolis. Just started to dabble in the Fragrances. I like to experiment a bit with layering. I put one small squirt of Creed GIT on the back of the neck then Eau DUELLE on either side. I get the best of both worlds. :-)
Tam Dao edt is my absolute favorite (but a lot more are really good!) The edt had enormous longevity on me. And I think the edt is more nice than the edp. Great house; thanks for the video.
I love Diptyque! A few years back I decided to start a new hobby: Smelling perfumes. And the way I started teaching myself about different notes was through a 10 piece discovery set from Diptyque. Eau Duelle was already my signature. Since then I have smelt 100s of perfumes: Diptyque is still my favourite house... I live in New Zealand and we have pretty limited access to fragrances - Mecca Maxima started stocking some popular niche brands including Diptyque a few years ago and I am lucky to live close by.
Super helpful vid, I was looking to get into this house so this is a great reference. Also thanks for putting your list in the descrip, very help full for looking up them up
I love Dyptique. There’s a shop up the block from my office and 2 other shops are opening in LA. It’s a great line and a company very generous with their samples. I love rose and their rose focused offerings. I also love the Iris one, and their vetiver. I imagine that because they’re so generous with their customers, it’s a good company for you and other reviewers. Even the Dyptique counters in dept stores are nice. I have a nasty question, why is Le Labo so stingy? And why is Bond 9 so mean? Or is it just my imagination?
Haven't tried all of the products from Diptyque but I do love Tam Dao EDT and Geranium Odorata. Maybe I should give Eau Duelle a try since I've been loving my vanilla fragrances lately. Loved your video. :)
I use Eau Plurielle but didn't keep Peu de Fleur. First impressions of everything in the Diptyque perfume line is 'ugh" but they dry nicely, very persistent and still light
Sebastian i could not agree more with your nr1,i also have Benjoin Boheme in my collection and its one of the best benzoin fragrances i have ever smelled
I Love Diptyque ! I'm an absolute fan of their candles (especially Freesia). My favorite perfume is Benjoin Boheme !!! I use to add a few sprays of Do son on top and I'm the Queen of the place !
Just added this to my collection - I can’t believe I hadn’t heard more about it!! I think because it’s so simple it doesn’t get that much hype. But as a huge jasmine fan, it’s heaven
Idk why, but I’m totally anosmic to Eau de Lierre and the one they have in that round bottle with the black spray puff thing. Oyedo has to be one of my all time faves, but I could literally be so happy with almost any of their perfumes. Such an incredible house.

Hi! Thanks for making this video. This really helps a lot. But i'm wondering if there is a Diptyque version of Gucci Guilty, or a Diptyque version of Dior Addict. 🤔
which one smells like cardamom, cinnamon? i am looking for a spicy, yet sweet warm and nocturnal long lasting fragrance from diptyque..
which are the top ones to try that are more masculine leaning?
Best fragrance reviewer on UA-cam 👍
Wow, thank you! :)
I agree, reminds me of a classroom lecture by a well-loved professor :D Knowledgeable with a warm nature and without any arrogance
Their passion for $$$ ha sorry I had to!
Unpopular opinion: Dyptique > Jo Malone 🔥🤭
Not really... jo Malon has VERY bad longevity for the price and bad projection. Dyptique on the other hand, is the opposite... imo they're no comparable at all

Jo malone is popular just bc its cheap lol
Oh 100%
Jo Malone no longer sells Vetiver.

Love Diptyque. If Oud Palao is too “animalic” for you, layer it with Eau Rose. Perfection! You’re welcome.
👀
Absolutely love Diptyque. Here are my favorites.
1) Tempo
2) Eau Capitale
3) Do Son
4) Eau De Sense
5) Tam Dao
6) Eau Rose

I agree on them all!❤
Diptyque is the only house that has not a single scent released that I actually dislike. Its crazy how refined, beautiful and sometimes modernly vintage their fragrances are. I‘d sometimes wish they had better performance though, most of their fragrances are rather average in that regard.
Phylosikos was introduced to me 3 days ago. Since then, I have been blown away by its smell.
It is quite naturalistic
Diptyque is where I began my interest in niche houses, along with Czech and Speake. I have been wearing L'eau Trois since the mid-eighties. Ashamed to say I've not tried anything from the house so this is incredibly helpful. Thank you ☺
you should be ashamed :P
Oh no Robert Quinlan. Please do!! :)
🙃
You need to start from L’ombre dans l’Eau edp... 🥰
Same here brother
Philosykos is one of the few fragrances that everyone could not like and I’d say “you’re crazy, it’s amazing.” Do Son is one of my top fragrances of life as well.
Philosykos smells cheap and has zero depth. It’s good if you’re basic.
Those are my two favorites as well! I guess we are basic! Haha, I’m ok with that…💗😂😎
@@millsbillz wow you're so different and edgy and since you can't see..yes, I'm rolling my eyes
I'm addicted to Dyptique perfumes...my favourite is Eau Capitale 👌
Oh yeah that’s amazing. As soon as I run out of my 34 that’s the one I’ll buy for sure.
AFAIK: Do Son was created by Fabrice Pellegrin✌
The 34 EDP is my Signature Scent. When i wear it, everyone knows i am in a good mood 😃.
Glad to see two of my favorites, Fleur de Peau and Eau Capitale so high on your list!
My two favourites too.
When I got back into perfume, I started with buying Diptyques. I love Oud Palao and 34 Boulevard St. Germain.
Nice video! I am from South Korea, and Diptyque is currently very popular here. I am glad that Eau Capital is one of your favorites! I cannot agree more, and I do love it so much too. Love Tam Dao & Oudh Palao! Two of my all-time favourites
My favorite is 34 St Germain EDP! And EDT. Also love Do Son, Vetyverio, Tam Dao.... They are just classy simple yet complex fragrances
Smelled "Eau de Minth" yesterday on a tester. Smells very good

Volutes is an amazing fragrence. One of the best things I've ever smelled and is extremely underrated.

I love this Diptyque review. I bought Eau Capitale after watching this and I love it so much! It also lasts a long time on my skin. Thank you so much!
I LOVE Oud Palao!! It’s my only Dyptique so far..
I LOVE Vetyverio edp! I thought I was the only one that liked it since I don’t see any reviews of it on UA-cam

This house is 👏🏼 awesome
Eau Capitale woooow thats a great scent i'm glad you did this top 20, i own a few of there candles. We have a boutyque in Austin TX
Eau lente unfairly ruled out from this list, what a scent
Olene is my first niche purchase! I loved it.
Tam Dao is definitely one of my top 3 Diptyque fragrances. I prefer the EDT though.
One of my favorite houses. El Capitale is in my wishlist ❤️
I haven’t tried all of these but I wear Oud Palao a lot. Thanks for the video!
Really want to try Philosykos, Tam Dao and Ombre dans L’eau, also Tempo.
Love your voice and pronunciation, soooo soothing to my ears. Thanks for sharing

Their Oud fragrance is just amazing
Thanks Seb. I was one of the many who were asking you to rank Diptyque fragrances. Extremely helpful like always
Glad it was helpful!

Finally some love for Eau de Minthe..
I really enjoyed this review of Diptyque fragrances. I have several fragrances in my collection and there are times I get compliments ether from a man or a woman depending on the fragrance I’m wearing. But when I put on my only Diptyque fragrance Oud Palao which I purchase back in 2017 after watching your review I always get compliments from both man and a
woman. I’m a patchouli lover so I’m going to purchase a bottle of Tempo again thank you for your review.
Dear Sebastian, Great list and your top three are really hard to beat. I agree a really underrated house which has never let me down. Thanks a million
Thank you so much for a very thorough review. I took notes and am going to the store to try some.

Benjoin Bohème is on my wishlist! But I miss Eau Moheli in the list. I love that one aswell.

Will definitely try Eau Rihla or Volutes or Oud Palau next time
34 edp was my first niche fragrance and i love it its such a classy fragrance. Gets complements too.
Eau Mage 2011 version!!!! My favourite of all diptych!!! One last bottle I have still untouched
#1 and #2 sounds great, you make it interesting , definitely need to try.
Great video, i have 12 out of the 20, will try the other 8, well presented, thanks

Long awaited indeed!
I like Eau Duelle, but has since discovered All Saints’s Metal Wave, which reminds me of the former, but is actually better.
Excellent video as usual 🧡. I’ve been eyeing Diptyque for some time now & finally got some samples. I love Do Son Edp, Des Sens & Eau Capitale.
yup, benjoin boheme is my favourite too!
Haven't tried all of the products from Diptyque but I do love Tam Dao EDT and Geranium Odorata. Maybe I should give Eau Duelle a try since I've been loving my vanilla fragrances lately. Loved your video. :)

Benjoin Boheme and Eau Capitals are my scents! The 34 in the EDP is amazing! I got it for my bf and it’s his go to!
Diptique is my favorite perfume. It lasts forever. It’s expensive but worth every penny.

I Love Diptyque ! I'm an absolute fan of their candles (especially Freesia). My favorite perfume is Benjoin Boheme !!! I use to add a few sprays of Do son on top and I'm the Queen of the place !
this was great! i've always loved their candles, but have yet to sample any of the their perfumes. you've explained them very well.
I’m so shocked you didn’t include Eau Rose
Top 5 very similar to my liking great video Seb oh and do room sprays last at all? On fabrics?
Have you tried Olène? Thank you for this video!
Just added this to my collection - I can’t believe I hadn’t heard more about it!! I think because it’s so simple it doesn’t get that much hype. But as a huge jasmine fan, it’s heaven
This is a great video. I am a huge fan of Diptyque fragrances and candles. I love the Benjoin candle.
I adore Eau de Lierre, its the best green fragrance ever for me. I also have got Duelle, i used to wear it every day
It's a great green scent for sure! :)
Idk why, but I’m totally anosmic to Eau de Lierre and the one they have in that round bottle with the black spray puff thing. Oyedo has to be one of my all time faves, but I could literally be so happy with almost any of their perfumes. Such an incredible house.
