You sir are a book of knowledge.
I wish I could send my truck to you to work on.
I know everyone hates body lifts but a 2-3” body lift gives a lot of clearance for everything including servicing, and adds a good stance without being noticeably excessive…
Hey Matt. Love what you do and build keep up the good work.
Hey, thanks!
Always cool to see how much progress you are making on these trucks. Can’t wait for it to start warming up around here so I can get more of my projects moving. Your videos always get me motivated. Thanks Matt!
Thanks 👍
Thanks Matt ! I always enjoy and appreciate your videos. They’re always interesting, informative, and entertaining.
I appreciate that!
Got a link to those universal engine mounts.

You got that Godzilla setting in there nicely Matt 🙂👍 You can't beat how low miles it has! 😮 Great job my friend, glad to see more progress on this swap. I think the stainless exhaust would be a nice touch as well 🔧🔩
Thanks 👍
Excited to see how this one turns out, nice work Matt!
Thanks!
It would be nice if you could go with 4 5 or 6 speed manual transmission
Hello new subscriber, just bought a 69f250 ranger. Could you do a how to on checking pumpkin and greasing the axel? Thanks
In your opinion, is the 7.3 the best diesel for a good engine swap?
I’m about to start my swap very soon. I have a 1975 f250 cc highboy. I’m so happy I ran into your video because I was told I couldn’t use my divorced transfer case. I have everything I need minus the transmission so now I just need to find out if I can do it with my divorced t case or if I will have to run a 4x4 6r140 and tcase. Would you go divorced or go with the 6r140 tcase? I like the classic look and wanted to keep it mostly original so I don’t know what to do
Well there would be lots of factors that can play into this decision. I’m sure the reason you were told it wouldn’t work is due to length. Where I haven’t put one of these in a highboy truck and verified they will fit with enough room to get a driveshaft with a slip yoke between the trans and transfer case my rough measurements say it’s possible, but again it’s not verified yet. With the original transfer case you are introducing more drivetrain loss with the extra driveshaft as well as more failure points. But you also keep driveline angles correct for the factory axles and keeping a provision for the mechanical speedometer cable if the factory dash is retained. But the superduty transfercase will add reliability and efficiency but may complicate the front drive shaft and require a gps speedometer, with both custom transfercase linkage is required. So basically I would weigh all factors and decide what direction best fits the goals with the project.
@@MattKubik1791 I’m going with Dakota digital gauges and the super duty t case will need a stand alone harness that has the selector knob which makes it modern but easier to work with. I gotta do some research let’s see what happens. Good luck on your swap that’s an awesome project
Matt, you’re using the Mars control pack? You mentioned a new harness in the video. I’ve stated my 67 highboy project with a 7.3 Godzilla
@@kennethnorth8717 yes I am.
@@MattKubik1791 im gonna end up going with the OBR stage 2 control pack I have for the 7.3 and run a stand alone controller for 6r80 transmission and tcase. Wanted to do the Mars auto but I would have to sell my OBR control pack and don’t wanna go through the hassle
