Elsa Gate never ended, and it will never end as long as it's profitable, and it will always be profitable as long as UA-cam allows it to happen, which they seemingly will given that the government themselves tried to intervene with COOPPA, but the creators of these videos and UA-cam clearly care more about making money than anything else.
It could still stop if the parents at least cared enough to keep underaged children away from UA-cam and/or check in on what they're doing, BUT NO, we can't even have that!!! Just another reason humans can't be trusted.

People have REPEATEDLY reported 5Minute Crafts, TroomTroom, and other similar channels for having content 100% clearly geared toward kids telling them to use alcohol [the drinkable kind] and all kinds DANGEROUS content and youtube has stood by that none of the content is dangerous. There was a whole thing about people reporting a "5 Minute Crafts FOR KIDS" video that STARTS with adding skittles to vodka for flavored Vodka [not to make colored bottles of liquid or some kind of fake paint, etc. To just make flavored vodka]. And UA-cam was like "Yeah that's fine." -- Granted they have such rebranded their channel but ... yeaaah ... and there are a lot of videos like this on those sorts of channels. And TroomTroom and similar are 100% geared toward kids [bright colors, happy voices, silly sound effects, clearly acting like kids, etc] and it's suggested some stuff that's not safe/not okay for kids and reports to UA-cam go nowhere because UA-cam deems the content safe. And that's ignoring that all these channels are KNOWN AND PROVEN content farms. Because these channels make UA-cam too much money for UA-cam to do squat.
I always knew about these kinds of things are just gross and it’s disappointing how UA-cam can’t stop things like this to save their lives. They just screw people over that haven’t done anything wrong.
It reminds me of a UA-camr named MamaMax who made a video addressing this topic called "Cartoon Incorporated" and how they are using popular kids shows and themes to manipulate kids to watching age restricted topics not suitable for kids. This could represent a worrying trend for UA-cam content for kids.

In my experience of ipad kids, i never see them with their parents' devices or their own devices that often, and they actually act like regular kids. Even in an indoor playground, i went to one time, and i don't see ipad kids.
