Just nice to watch while not so nice things are going on in the world joy to watch these classic heroes race bring back the 80s and 90s touring cars please folks dont forget them!
Great to see these old cars, it is great to have recognisable designs and classic verse that work with the aesthetics of the cars rather than obliterate them.
@@322tor Those 80s and 90s cars are Sierra Cosworth Turbo's, 500 plus bhp, the most successful touring car of all time. Capri is normally aspirated. Point was there is two decades of development between them and the relatively crude Capri's did brilliantly to hang with the later, better developed and more powerful opposition
@bnai1000 true but ran alot wider tyres than the sierras which used to struggle with there skinny tyres If I'm correct they were restricted due to grp a regs
Aww my arms are hurting because of no p/s, bless him LOL. Race drivers are pampered Poodles today....no gear lever or clutch or p/s, just cup holders and a tin of Wurthers on the dash LOL
In reality, the Sierras would've minced the Capris, as much as I love them. The way the BMWs were hanging onto the Rouse Sierra and Calsonic Skyline says it all. Most of the group A cars were massively under boosted in this race. They don't look 500hp cars.

Love the RS500'S spitting flames!
Would be nice to see the rest of the field

Great to see those Capri's from the early 70s giving the more modern cars a very hard time
The 80's cars are 2.0lt, the Capri is 3.2. Different regulations, but today they group them to level the playingfield

Ha, the dead Jag on the warm up lap, reminds me of Bathurst so many years ago!
Steve Dance, 3rd place, was the most exciting driver in the Capri

Love the ATCC cars
The Capri has a lot more tyre than the Sierra so goes through corners and brakes so much better.

Miss Mercedes 190
Alfa 155 v6
Ford mondeo
Renault Laguna
Volvo 850
That was a shitty start, caught everyone sleeping, they should get on each other's rear bumpers when the safety car lights go out !!
Bloody Alan Hyde, irritating enough in BTCC never mind this too! 😂
Serria's looks have not improve with nostalgia filter on....
😂😂😂
