565 through 568 were the four GO sold to TRE at first back in 1997, which ran for a while with their original GO numbers, then eventually were overhauled and turned into 123 through 126. Much later on, in 2009, GO also sold 525, 527, and 528 to TRE, which they were immediately renumbered to 120, 121, and 122 upon entering TRE service.
@@superbaddy4 Oh. If TRE didn’t renumber all them, they would still be their original numbers, but do you think if the RDCs hadn’t over heated and they never deactivated 1000 and 1001, how would you picture TRE being?
About the same as it is today, just 1000, 1001, and the RDCs are still around and used when needed. Although I could see a reality where TRE isn't currently choosing to buy those two F40PHs since the RDCs are handling what would be their job.

I saw the RDCs for the first time in Richland Hills like in maybe 2009, 2010 or 2011.

they were originality from go when they were dtripped of their logo then purches in an agreement for them to get paeed down from GO to VIA to TRE
