I think China's claim over West Philippine Sea lacks supporting documents as proof of their territorial rights to such claim. If you would take a look at the map of Asia, you can see that the Southern part of China is being surrounded by land/its neighboring countries. So how is it possible that China has a rightful claim over the WPS? The islands surrounding the Philippine territory clearly belong to us- the Filipinos. The waters surrounding the islands belong to the the Philippine territory. We, Filipinos have the right to conduct an inspection from time to time and to protect our sovereignty at all cost. Fishing within the WPS, should be free to all Filipino fishermen. Non-Filipino citizens should not interfere should we conduct an inspection and they should not harass our fishermen. Any harassment done unto them should be considered as an offensive act. Violators of the rulings of our sovereignty should be considered as enemies of the Philippine Constitution and should face legal consequences. As a Filipino citizen, I don't think I need to study/learn any legalities just to be able to uphold what is right and just.

I think China's claim over West Philippine Sea lacks supporting documents as proof of their territorial rights to such claim. If you would take a look at the map of Asia, you can see that the Southern part of China is being surrounded by land/its neighboring countries. So how is it possible that China has a rightful claim over the WPS? The islands surrounding the Philippine territory clearly belong to us- the Filipinos. The waters surrounding the islands belong to the the Philippine territory. We, Filipinos have the right to conduct an inspection from time to time and to protect our sovereignty at all cost. Fishing within the WPS, should be free to all Filipino fishermen. Non-Filipino citizens should not interfere should we conduct an inspection and they should not harass our fishermen. Any harassment done unto them should be considered as an offensive act. Violators of the rulings of our sovereignty should be considered as enemies of the Philippine Constitution and should face legal consequences. As a Filipino citizen, I don't think I need to study/learn any legalities just to be able to uphold what is right and just.
