- Toyota Simps be like… Land Cruiser edition! The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser is super duper good! I mean beyond good. Ugh! Phenomenal is more like it. Whenever I’m around this LC250 Prado I just can’t even. This is the BEST SUV money can buy. No Ifs Ands or Buts about it! The price tag is the only problem, really… it’s too cheap!! This is easily a 100K+ Land Cruiser. Think we can all agree on this.
The only vehicle better than this 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition would be the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro or Trailhunter. Love the powertrain, love the fuel economy, love saving the environment. That’s what I’m about.
Think I may just buy one along with the new 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. Two equally amazing SUVs! Perfection!!!!

Haha yes 😄 I made one comment on that TURDjon channel when I was watching his video on the new Tacoma about how expensive it was, it was t even a comment about him or anything, just shocked about how expensive it is, and he wrote a really nasty reply basically about how dumb and poor I am and missed the entire point of what I was saying. He was a total snob about the harsh pricing reality of new Toyotas.

@@UntamedMotors my father paid 6k for a rusty 100 series with 189k on the odometer in 2020 right before they announced discontinuation. A bit more in expenses later it's the best vehicle i have ever laid my eyes on.
I went to look at an overtrail plus today, sold right before I got to there. It was noir green with the black roof and was absolutely stunning. Interior is nice but lack luster but I would have zero issue owning one. Honestly, strong chance I’ll swap the 200 HE out for it in two years once the platform gets tested out. Looked at the new lc after and it isn’t even close to me thinking of ditching the 200 for one.

I like this channel because I generally got the vibe that you were a serious person who was trying to fairly/objectively talk about the vehicle market in general, and Toyota in particular. While you are correct that other channels appear to have been drinking the koolaid, I think these types of videos detract from your channel... instead of coming across as a fair/objective critique, this comes across as contrarian/snark (regardless of whether there is truth there or not). More power to you if you think that leaning heavily into the full-contrarian mode is what will help your channel, but it seems out of character.

1:06 “get a tech job” lol that got me to laugh… that is the attitude of a lot of people today. I thought that was the difference between Lexus and Toyota. Lexus was supposed to be the upmarket arm of Toyota, so you have good basic cars for the average blue collar people and high trim/spec cars for the white collar people. Now it’s a very fine line with how expensive all Toyotas have gotten.

Here in some parts of Latam, we get the 2.4 turbo 4cyl, no hybrid, 2 air bags, no safety sense… all that for $75k. The only thing that might save this LC is the 2.8 diesel, but I mean, $75k for the base trim… Nuts!

Untamed - I’ve owned a 1997 ex-cab Tacoma deluxe 4x4, a 2003 Tacoma ex-cab sr5 prerunner, a 2009 Tacoma double cab TRD off road prerunner, and now a 2022 4Runner sr5 4x4 premium. This will be my last Toyota.
