I enjoyed seeing Julie today! Good to see a ‘senior lady’ as opposed to the exercise videos with very young women. At 79, I do the exercises that Julie was doing, also work on a [Chuck Norris] Total Gym. Learned some good techniques nd better posture positions from seeing Julie. At 65 I could have succeeded at all these exercises but at 75 no way. I will be making the necessary changes. Thanks for the reminder Bob and Brad and Julie.
Julie, you are an inspiration those of us who are 60+! I appreciate you showing exercises using various types of equipment so that we aren’t stuck with just one version of an exercise. Mixing things up is not only a boredom buster, but it also exercises the same muscles in different ways.

excellent video thank you...there is research showing that doing these exercises SUPER SLOWLY has higher benefits...Super slow lifting refers to slowing down your movements so that each rep takes 10 - 20 seconds to complete. This allows you to get a killer workout with much lighter weights than we're used to, which means you can push yourself to pure failure with MUCH less stress on the joints...this is probably beneficial for seniors
Makes a lot of sense. Thank you. Reminds me of a very beginning intro into Pilates class I took. I didn’t feel like I had done anything in the 75 minute class, BUT my triceps and abdominal muscles were tender for 3 days!

Thank you for having Julie on showing arm exercises!😊 I was knocked off my exercise routine for most of the year last year having 2 gallbladder attacks and feeling sick and weak. Finally got relief in late October having surgery, and over Christmas holidays got the green light from my doctor to get back in my routine.😊

These are all great exercises for us ladies. At 76 I have them all in my repertoire except the floor push up, even modified is a no go for my modified spine. People comment that I have nice arms and I were sleeveless tops for comfort but many won't as they worry about their arm being flabby. These exercises are easy to fit into a home routine.

How about doing "plank" to tone arms? This exercise is super effective!
Planking led me to shoulder surgery, not for everyone

Julie, a senior lady (as per lower comment) no way! Fitter than most 25 yr. olds for sure, go hiking in Corsica you two, even hubby found it hard, just the pool aok with me, he got frozen shoulders 2 yrs ago, better believe I keep my arms in shape, frozen hip injury just as awful, I can guarantee that!

I’m a female of 69 years of age. I do several of the exercises Julie demonstrated but at a much slower pace and by doing so get a better workout. I paid particular attention to Julie’s form and learned from that. I VOTE that Julie have her own channel.

I had my right shoulder replaced a year ago (12-14-2022), and I am wheelchair/walker bound, but I can do the exercise pushups against a wall!
