I really like how genuine and honest you present yourself. As a M3 owner, I agree with all the faults and bad things about the Model 3 you have mentioned, also the animosity you can get from other people. Nice video, keep up the great work!
Thanks for the comment, no matter what the haters are going to hate, but so far for me I look forward to driving more now than ever before you most likely know exactly what I mean.
@liveworkplaywilderness1877 Yes, even after 4 years, I still enjoy and look forward to driving the Model 3. Every other new car I have sat in feels like a step back in time.
Good video. Subscribed I have owned my 2017 Model S since new and have 110k miles on it. Like it so far. Maybe if you do ever need service, mobile service could come to you.
The first Tesla I drove was a Model S loved it, yes, I have seen a mobile service guy out this way a few times. I'm hoping they build a service center closer to me.
You should be careful with that, batteries lose a lot of efficiency in colder temperatures so any claimed range will be much shorter once it gets chilly.
Last year, I attempted to purchase a Tesla, but due to our tall family members, we opted for the Model Y. Unfortunately, it proved to be too cramped, lacking sufficient legroom for both us and the children.
If you have a family, skip the Model Y and 3. Buy a used Tesla Model S or X. In this very video, he mentions they don't require much maintenance. Just tires and wiper blades. Not saying they are maintenance free but better than gas cars.
my only complaint is you cant charge them as fast as i can put gas in a car your always limited to how far u can go. it would be fine as a daily driver. keep up the updates im curious how the teslas hold up in the canadian climate and harsher roads.
Yes, I do use my truck and camper for long drives anything over 500 miles but as a daily driver I commute just over 200kms using about fifty percent of a charge, so I only charge at home usually it is fully charged by early evening. Iam waiting for some cold weather and snow to make a long winter drive video. Thanks for the comment Windzer.
They don’t fill as fast but fast enough for me because I like to eat/use restroom/stretch every few hours. I’ve taken my model S from Nova Scotia to Montana to Florida.
Hey! Missed this one! Are those the winter tires? Most of you points are valid on most modern cars. Is the dirt on the rear door the same on both sides? I don’t think its a leak but probably the air flow that creates it. I have a similar “problem” on my white car. My solution: don’t wash and eventually the whole car looks the same…
Yes I have quite the collection of winter tires. Unfortunately, they are all not great in the tread department, so I might have to get some new ones. Don't wash the car, great idea. I might have to try that .
I see now the pile of wheels in plastic bags in the background. I bet they are the winter wheels. You should buy mud gards for your car. Could make a video out of it.
Yes I do have a collection of tires. The problem is that they are all fairly warn so might just put new ones on and add to my collection of fairly warn. And yes mud flaps could be coming in the near future.
I would buy a used EV as a daily work commuter (40km/day) but I can't justify the cost. Maybe they'll come down in price one day. Definitely cheaper to operate if you charge at home, for now that is. The way our federal government is heading though, wanting to take fossil fuel heating away, the demand on the electrical grid will increase substantially and we won't have 13 cent/KWh charging rates. People who have no choice but to pay to charge have already found out what most of us knew a few years ago, it's costing close to or more than what it is for gas in an ICE.
With the distance I have to commute over 200kms per day six days a week my gasoline bill for a 3.4 litre v6 was average one thousand dollars per month so now even after the car payment and electricity for the car I am still a few hundred ahead. The gas savings is paying for the car and new tires every six months. As the car payment is just over 600 dollars per month so even though my gas car was paid off for me electric is still cheaper for me and I am not factoring any maintenance as the electric car is still under warranty and the Toyota was not.
The paint on these cars is terrible and that combined with the design of the fender wells causes it to peel like a 100 year old barn, so I did buy aftermarket mud flaps hoping to slow the peeling a bit.Alot of people wrap their cars in plastic but that is quite expensive.

Here is a kicker. I am actually looking into electric snowmobiles. The range seems suitable for ice fishing and that is my main interest.
I didn't know they made them that would be cool and great for hunting very quiet.

I have never been in a model Y you must have a tall family

Good video! Did you lose a lot of subscribers/sheep?
I think I lost a couple, but then I gained a few.
Why did you get mudflaps since you lives in the boonies?
