lemonade vs Limonade: German use the word "Limonade" for sparkling soft drinks based on sparkling water with an addition of fruit taste like Zitronenlimonade (lemon lemonade), Sprite, Orangenlimonade etc. Therefore Cola is a Limonade as well, but seldom adressed as such. "Saft" is fruit or vegetable juice without the addition of water. "Schorle" is juice or wine with added sparkling water "Radler" is half beer (Pils, Export, Lager) and half Sprite or Zitronenlimonade and preferred by cyclist or after sport activities to dehydrate and not considert a "beer" 😉 "Dreckiges", translates into "the dirty one", is beer mixed with cola (mostly 2/3 beer) and often preferred by people who do not enjoy the bitterness. Do not forget that there was a time where you´ve been stuck with you local brands due to their regional monopol and a lack of "imported" beer from other German regions let alone other countries thus you had to adjust the tase with softdrinks to fit your liking. Oh, and the slice of lemon goes with Kristallweizen NOT Hefeweizen. Although purists say that it destroys the orginal taste.
@@MattSuozzo No, and I even don´t like beer due its bitternes. My parents owned a restaurant and I´ve worked in the industry on weekends until I finished university. I prefer wine or a well made whiskey sour and on an hot summer´s day an icecold Radler, whic,h as already established, is not beer 😉
Talking about Lidl beers nothing beats Steam Brew. (Any of the Steam Brews.). But hey, I never tried this Patronus and I think the local Lidl has it, I will give it a shot :D
Any other outcome in the first place and I would have said these were the first 5 beers these guys drunk in their life. Steam Brew is quite nice to be a Lidl beer, especially the IPA.
go to Aldi and get Schultenbräu, it's really cheap and doesn't taste half bad also Radler is not a beer but a lemonade and people that call it beer are criminals
I'm not really a beer drinker, but now I feel like I want a beer. 😁 If I ever go to Lidl, I'll try the Steam Brew. Cool video!
Now I want a beer
Perhaps not one from Lidl 😆
Where is the Augustiner chaser beer?
