@@Cloutstuff If you speak to the landlord or agent about it, yes, two people can share a room. Also, some rooms are advertised as shared rooms from the start. Hmmm Farida, take it from someone that had the experience, it is very difficult. I see a lot of students from Nigeria working hard to pay the fees and they can’t balance studying and working at the same time. Some universities even advise some students to quit. I know a number of people it happened to . I have seen students running from pillar to post trying to raise money. UK is a very expensive country. Not everyone has the resilience and mental capacity to juggle both.

Just a warning for people doing MSc degrees. If you join September intake you will not be able to work full time (+20 hours a week) until after your CAS course end date.
Oh absolutely. You can apply to as many universities as you like. Be mindful of the deadlines for each university though. It's also good practice to apply to more than one uni.
Good question! Probably would have helped in terms of earning more money, but you have to consider the time required too, alongside studying at uni. I tried to learn tailoring in Nigeria but just couldn't. Hairdressing is a good skill to have in the UK, which I do, but never really used it. For me, I had lectures and seminars two to three days per week. By the final year of an undergraduate degree, it becomes four to five days for some students depending on the course. You can easily work 20 hours during the weekdays after uni and have weekends 'off' to study. Another way to work 20 hours easily is to try to complete your uni work ( studying and doing essays and assignments etc) on weekdays and work on Saturday and Sunday.
