Hey, 1. when it comes to the ATAS I am not completely sure. However given that your CAS states the later date this should not be a problem for the VISA application. I recommend you call the international student support at your University or the VISA application centre just to make sure. 2. If you receive the VISA then you basically have it for however long it is stated. The only issue, that people faced in my year as well, is that you are given 90 days from the point you receive it to travel into the country(extended from 30 due to the pandemic). So if you are not able to travel within those 90 days you would then have to apply for an extension for the entry but it is not a new VISA.

Hey✨ No matter how long your course is, you only need to show you have tuition for Year 1. I also have a placement year but I only had to show that I had my 1st year tuition in the bank statements

You will pay for 18months. The health insurance is charged for every 6months. If it was 19 or 20 months you would have gotten into a new 6month period, therefore you'll have to pay for 2 years.

I recommend trying to find someone who has done the application and find out from their experience because from what I have researched and my experience, Student VISAs already have a certain level of priority. However, it does depend on how busy the centre in your country is.

Technically it’s not a problem, but you have to consider when you plan to travel. You want to make sure that your passport is valid when you travel because that’s where your entry clearance will be. After you enter the country you won’t need the clearance they put on your passport but still need your passport for travel.

In my case, I paid £ 710 for Immigration Health Surcharge, Masters degree starts September year 1 and ends September year 2. The cost of IHS will be £705. The time granted on the visa will be August year 1 until January year 3 (as 4 additional months will be added to the visa by UKVI) totalling 1 year and 5 months. IHS charge is 1 year at £470 + 5 months at £235 = £705

In the UK most Undergraduate Bachelors degrees are honours degrees for example I'm studying a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science. From a Bachelors degree, with or without Honors, you can go into a Masters degree. However, you might have to do a semester or two(during the Masters) of the material that makes the honours part of the Bachelor's degrees. I hope this makes sense. Did it or do you rate that adding the other certificates you submitted in your UCAS helped? would a person get denied if only providing the certificates stated in the CAS?
I don't think it helped much. The A Level certificate and the one showing my English Language were the ones they were looking for. I usually recommend giving more than they ask because it shows that you are a legit person and have the right intentions applying for that VISA.

Hey✨ I’m so glad it was helpful. And to answer your question, no I did not get interviewed to get my CAS. Getting a CAS is reliant on your offer being unconditional so unless one of the requirements to secure your place is an interview, you will not have to.

In my case, I paid £ 710 for Immigration Health Surcharge, Masters degree starts September year 1 and ends September year 2.
The cost of IHS will be £705. The time granted on the visa will be August year 1 until January year 3 (as 4 additional months will be added to the visa by UKVI) totalling 1 year and 5 months. IHS charge is 1 year at £470 + 5 months at £235 = £705
What if you are studying a master's degree course for 16months what will be the estimated IHS? Thanks in advance

When one is applying for a 3yr undergraduate program, must he pay for the complete 3yrs IHS surcharge during visa application or for the first year instead?. My second question is when submitting the statement of account, am I submitting in local currency or must have been converted using the currency converter like oanada?

1. You have to pay the IHS for the whole 3 years.
2. I'm not quite sure about this, but the important part is that it is the £ equivalent of the amount you need using that days rate.

Hi, I am doing my third year of industrial psychology and I desperately need to know if the UK offers honours degrees in this field. When I search it shows that the honours degree comes along with the bachelors, I'm so confused, what would be an honours equivalent that is viable worldwide Eg in the UK and in South Africa? Please, if you can contact anyone at your varsity with these questions and explain them to me?
In the UK most Undergraduate Bachelors degrees are honours degrees for example I'm studying a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science. From a Bachelors degree, with or without Honors, you can go into a Masters degree. However, you might have to do a semester or two(during the Masters) of the material that makes the honours part of the Bachelor's degrees. I hope this makes sense.

Did it or do you rate that adding the other certificates you submitted in your UCAS helped? would a person get denied if only providing the certificates stated in the CAS?
I don't think it helped much. The A Level certificate and the one showing my English Language were the ones they were looking for. I usually recommend giving more than they ask because it shows that you are a legit person and have the right intentions applying for that VISA.

Hey✨ I’m so glad it was helpful. And to answer your question, no I did not get interviewed to get my CAS. Getting a CAS is reliant on your offer being unconditional so unless one of the requirements to secure your place is an interview, you will not have to.
