- Just fixed both my front Windows with this method. They were both completely unresponsive after the car was sat for several months and got wet inside. Basically take the motor apart in situ and spray wd40 in it.
Great video. My friends' Focus had the same exact problem and your fix worked a treat - On re-assembly I held the brushes clear using a couple of 4mm diameter nails under the copper flex to hold them clear of the armature. My motor was full of water and rust - I'm wondering if it gets in via the Bowden cable as the motor body has a rubber seal where the casing mates. Anyways its now working
glad it helped you! On my focus, which unfortunately I departed with about a year ago, there was a leak into the car around the boot somewhere. This made moisture levels in the car very high and rusted and molded everything metal where the moisture condensed during heat and cold cycles. It was also unused for a long time (a year). For this and other reasons I scrapped the car - it was just time. Full list of issues: exhaust was done on flexi, and rear back box, wheel bearings on last legs, bushings, rusty underneath and on body, keys/locks no longer worked / bodywork was dented after a couple crashes / air con didn't work / tyres were all bald). I bought an Audi a2 because they are made of aluminium. I'd also consider one of the aluminium jags. I'm sick of rust!
Thanks a lot, worked perfectly!👍
Thank you, It worked!!!
Im gona try this tomorrow boss
Good luck, keep the old girl alive for longer
@@dantheman1337 thanks boss I will let you know 👍

I subbed to your channel to boss.
my drivers window makes absolutely no noise or move while trying to open it but can opporate passnger side from drivers one absolute fine. Do you think this method will fix it or do you reckon it'll need the drivers side replacing?
I have the same problem. Have you already found a solution?
@@MASTEROFMONEY500 nope, tried this and it didn't work. Car was only a work horse and has since been scrapped.
Yeah dunno guys. Check the power is arriving at the motor and if it isn't then it is the switch or wire.
How did you take off that motor case? I cant move this
4 screws. Then if it doesn't come off it is just rust holding it on so give it some taps.
