You forgot that Cradily has the Hidden Ability Storm Drain. This means Cradily can be mixed or go all in on Special Attack. This thing with Storm Drain is a big deal everybody is sleeping on. The Ability Patch will let you get Storm Drain and that is huge. This thing can be really evil in doubles as it can eat Surf and get free buffs. You can invest into bulk and let the Storm Drain get your power up. That thing is going to be way better than people think as a doubles Trick Room pick. You can even use an Assault Vest for 50% Special Defense plus Rock Pokemon in a Sandstorm get an extra 30% or so when it comes to Special Defense. Giga Drain as your heal and you have a blob on your hands as it can max and get a Sandstorm up off Rock damage. Trick Room is the key to making it really annoying. Also Grass Pokemon ignore powder moves so Spore and Rage Powder are not going to work. This gives you a Grass Pokemon that can use Rock on Fire Pokemon. I feel this will be solid in doubles as the weird type and lower Speed means Trick Room has yet another solid pick to be annoying with.

So far, Walrein is my favorite Ice-type Pokémon as of October 21, 2020. The day that it gains access to Scald, Freeze-Dry, Icicle Crash, and Earth Power is gonna be a happy day for me. I think that it's cool that one of my favorite fossil Pokémon Cradily gained new moves like Power Whip and Grassy Glide. Rock Blast might be good for Lileep in battles using the Little Cup format. The Max Moves will help with its bulk. Although, we need the return of the Vs. Recorder as well as a 60-minute time limit in Single and Double battles. I'm glad that Swampert acquired Liquidation, Body Press, and Bulk Up. It would be cool if this evolution line gained access to Aqua Jet at least via breeding. Spiritomb is a neat Pokémon, though I've never used one in battle or for an in-game team. Poltergeist and Lash Out should be very useful for this bulky Pokémon. Archeops is the fossil Pokémon that I've never given the time of day for in terms of battling. I never had a problem with its design. The ability just limits its potential. The fact that it will have Galarian Weezing will be fairly beneficial. I'm glad that even little Pokémon like Carbink was gifted Body Press. Body Press is such a cool move. I hope that they one day design a special-attacking version of Body Press that takes into account the user's Special Defense rather than their Special Defense. Pokémon like Carbink, Shuckle, and Blissey would make great use of such a move.
I planning to use a defensive magmar in low tiers because the mayority of the pokemon will start crown tundra in OU. this defensive magmar will have teleport, lava plume, taunt and toxic with the eviolite. I think is a big adition to PU because of the low number of fire types in the tier

Someone may have said this already, but a mixed attacker Archeops could be viable too Power herb meteor beam, acrobatics, two coverage moves. Meteor beam uses up the power herb, powers up both special moves and acrobatics. Idk, just a thought
Is there an attack that deals so and so stat as damage. Like deals this pokemon attack stat as damage. Set unaffected by boosts. So 180 base with max ev and iv dealing like 430 or something.

Yeah, I'll probably only get round to playing it tomorrow unfortunately... Archeops is a super fun Pokemon - slightly better in singles because it's not as vulnerable as in doubles, but could still work. I'm generally quite busy but can always be contacted on Twitter about strategies/battles [:
There's also Metagross! With an INSANE 135 atk/130 def, Sword/Shield gives it both Cosmic Power AND Body Press! GREAT counter for dark-types! It already had (and keeps) Iron Defense, which may be faster setup, but I prefer Cosmic Power for that Sp. Def. buff. It can also get Def boosts with Max Steelspike and Sp. Def boosts with Max Quake if you give it Earthquake, Bulldoze, or Stomping Tantrum. With Meteor Mash also increasing its atk, Clear Body ability keeping the stats increased, and a possible weakness policy setup, Metagross is a MONSTER in this generation!

I agree that Walrein could use even more moves, but the ones added here are definitely appreciated
I love your videos! Thank you so much for making them and sharing with us!
The analytics joke at the beginning really got me.
I planning to use a defensive magmar in low tiers because the mayority of the pokemon will start crown tundra in OU. this defensive magmar will have teleport, lava plume, taunt and toxic with the eviolite. I think is a big adition to PU because of the low number of fire types in the tier
Teleport is a really good option!
regigigas is in crown tundra pokedex, so can we pair it up with galarian weezing???
Carbink was my first shiny I hunted for in sun and moon, even though I was hunting for Sableye.
My first shiny was also a Carbink, I just randomely encountered it, and it was the first time I encountered a Carbink at all :D
Such a beautiful shiny...
2:00 Talks about it only had one ice type physical move
Corrects it with avalanche
But also shows a set with ice fang lol
seeing my favorite fossils in aerodactyl and tyrantrum is my favorite. Plus having a T-Rex playfully romp behind you in a game is the best thing ever
Thank your for talking about Swampert!!!! I have the dlc but I had no idea that the hoenn starters were in there and believe me, I knew I was going to be spoiled once I selected this video. I have never been so happy in my life to be spoiled because Swampert is my all time favorite Pokémon and I’m transferring my shiny one to SwSh right now as I’m writing this.
And you started off by covering the fully evolved form of my favorite pokemon!
I'm so happy my favourite pokemon is actually gonna be viable soon! Spiritomb WP set w sylveon ftw
Someone may have said this already, but a mixed attacker Archeops could be viable too
Power herb meteor beam, acrobatics, two coverage moves. Meteor beam uses up the power herb, powers up both special moves and acrobatics. Idk, just a thought
Yeah it could work...
I'm not into competitive battles, but I really learn a lot from your videos. Keep up the great content. 👍
Crobink:
252hp (multiple of 16 for lefties)
200+ defence (to set up on neutral eqs)
56spa (so when you get +6 you can be a threat)
Am I correct cradily still doesn't have leech seed?
Like c'mon it can learn seed bomb so like
I'm not sure we know about level up moves yet - these are just TM and tutor move changes. So there may still be a chance!
GALARIAN weezing will be meta with archeops and regigigas
Is there an attack that deals so and so stat as damage. Like deals this pokemon attack stat as damage. Set unaffected by boosts. So 180 base with max ev and iv dealing like 430 or something.
I love me some carbink so its great to see it getting stronger!
Cradilly with storm drain next to politoed has been working out really well for me
I hate how much I love that Swampert's name... very nice
Funny how the tapus didn't get the terrain moves, being rising voltage, grassy glide, expanding force and Misty explosion :/
I used a calm mind ResTalk Carbink when i was first trying out and experimenting with battling in the Battle Maison.
precious rock baby
Ive personally used burning jealousy specs spiritomb. Also Aerodactyl now has access to dragon dance o.o it is terrifying how hard he hits!
I absolutely love your videos! Keep up the good work! :)
Thanks [:
Great video! I can’t wait to use Archeops. I love it so much but I’ve never actually used it successfully. I was going to try and skill swap something decent onto it but I forgot about Weezing’s ability! It’s looking like we’ll (UK) get CT early tomorrow morning, which is a shame. Excited none the less. Foo, if you’re ever looking for someone to try battle strategies out on - let me know! I’ve only got about 3 friends on my switch and all the random online battles are the same legendary format 😴😴
I don’t have one so this may be a thing I don’t know yet but what if stackatacka gets body press?
im gonna be using weakness policy dragonite plus comfey draining kiss with inner focus so the attack stat wont be lower
That’ll work well. The only thing is dragapult kinda just does dragonite’s job better in this setup, but use who you like!
I don't think you can use misty explosion without misty terrain? Or does that just boost the damage
Would the Carbink toxic transfer work? Don’t you have to ‘magic away’ any transfer moves that the game doesn’t like?
I’m most excited for Blaziken. It isn’t my fav starter but it’s really cool and I hope it doesn’t get banned it ubers again :(
It’s going to be banned to Ubers, I guarantee you
Well... It is extremely op due to its ability and amazing coverage
Yay! My boy, Swampert got some stuff! While I'll miss Mega Swampert on steroids, I think the few moves he got could be nice on regular Swampert! ^^
