6:40. The cup holders (both front and rear) are an example of over engineering to the point where they're useless. When they're in use, the front ones block the vents as well as the controls. They're also flimsy to a fault. VW recognized these problem so they began installing a completely redesigned console in the later cars. These consoles included 2 cup holders up front and a single one in the back. They're simply moulded into the console. No moving parts except for the rear one that slides fore and aft. I picked up mine at the junk yard. On another note, there's no provision for anything that goes through the cowl (where the wipers are) to drain. Dirt, leaves, and water collect at the bottom of the front wing right behind the tire. That's why they all rust in this area. Removing a few torx screws and bending up the fender liner to clean out this area is a regular part of my oil change schedule. Great car though. I really love it. Great video too!
I have a VW bora pd130 highline mileage 126,000 miles 54 plate just had a hybrid 1856 hybrid turbo fitted with darkside front mount intercooler boost pipes . Full 2.5 custom exhaust system with CG motorsport 385 clutch kit with solid mass flywheel goes very well
Simple answer....because there's fewer Boras on the road. Fewer to buy and more difficult to find than the much more common Golf. Stupid question really
Had a 130bhp high line model with a remap years ago it was rapid and didn't smoke , also had a strut brace and good shocks and springs good rubber thing was a sleeper
Simple case of very few good ones left. Fell into cheap side of market quicker than Golf so in turn into the poor maintained not interested looking youth bracket the fastest so good ones killed quickly. The normal Bora front better than the awful Golf end on them.
Speaking of the interior, vw interiors look bland and boring when they come out but they age so well compared to their rivals. Mk4 /5 golf interiors especially the higher spec models definitely don't feel as old as they actually are. Simple double din head unit upgrade transforms them
I just bought a Bora Variant 2.8 VR6, 4 motion, highline! What a lovely car, I've been driving it daily and have zero regrets so far!

Maybe in your country, in Poland FWD boras go for 1000$ at most, 4motion is like 1500-2000$
i did the bora vent on my golf. well here they're jettas but good times.
I remember the bora you first reviewed scraping all over the floor. Yh I've been subscribed that long
Bora, not Boring!
I like the square headlight version, they are quite good looking cars.

Because all the Boras are in Ireland 😂
So funny all the roof liner nearly touching your head I’m having that problem😂😂
Boras are hard to find in the config you want, speaking from experience. looking to swap out my mk4 polo for one

I prefer the bora/jetta looks over the golf anyday
Is a pd louder without cat or isn’t there much difference?

I love my old pd130 bora
That looks worse than mine and I wanna scrap!! F**king love these cars
We call that car a Gora around my end 😂
Mk4 gold front end dirty tho😅
Its a less practical mk4 Golf thats why.
Greta thunburg in tears rn
Oi it yyu
Easy question to answer.... Vw people are children, children prefer hatchbacks over practicality 😂
hatchbacks are more practical than a saloon if you want to carry anything bulky...
