- Welcome to my new (to me) VW Golf mk4 estate 1.8T. I have a soft spot for the mk4 platform, and I love the 1.8T powerhouse... So this seemed like the perfect car. Also once i find out that something is a bit rare, thers no getting it out of my head. Join in an watch as i hoon about in my latest aquisitioan and be prepared for heavy modding, and an unimaginable ammount more of hooning this road weapon.

The seats aren’t Recaros they’re just the leather sports seats but still a cool wagon for sure.
Agh. Yeah I'm sure the recaro leather seats from that era have the logos and other stuff embroidered/embossed in the upper back area. I realized afterwards..🙃😅
I have the same (black in color) though automatic. A 2001 model. Honestly I love the car, thats my baby 😊.
Ko3s hybrid is a ko3s turbo with kid internals.
Ns49 / Sai deleted is a bunch of vaccuum breather hoses that typically leak under bigger power. So they are removed and mapped out.
You didn’t mention the front mount intercooler (FMIC) but I can see the hoses through the lower front grills.

Love it! Not many on the road of this spec, I've just done a video on my 1.8T, mines the red T, and single fingers left of her. Such a rare car either way! Hope you've still got it!
I was a able to wire in a electronic boost controller to my factory N75 valve,just letting you know. I had 2 B5 A4 1.8Ts....both were AEBs.
I had a 1.6 16v golf 4 (2000) estate and a 1.6fsi golf 4 (2003) estate, both had cruise control
You can retrofit cruise control
The mk7.5 sportwagen is even crazier 😏😉 ask me how i know
Just upgrade the headunit and disc changer for a double din touchscreen with CarPlay.
The rims at 6:56 are completely different to 11:06?

Lovely Golf Estate! As a wagon fan, I’m envious. Those leather seats look the same as in my 2000 GTI GLX VR6 and are very supportive and comfortable. These VW Estates were sold as the Jetta Wagon in Canada (where I’m from) and had the Bora front clip and bodywork. Yours looks much nicer with the Golf front end.
As a premium model, does the Golf Wagon have the integrated fog lights in the headlamps as the top Mk4 GTI’s did?
I own a mk7 golf and even I would say the best I've owned was my bora

Thanks 👍. My plans are very woolly at the moment but 'show car' is the main goal. Possibly wheels, air etc. Then more engine tuning... Safe to say there will be lots more coming to the channel in the coming weeks / months... About the odd wheels, ignore that, they're only temporary. More on that in the next video!
Could do with some 18” alloys.

@@brake_it_til_you_make_it mines on 170k interior needs some tlc but slowly putting together all the parts needed to upgrade to oem+ spec the engine is almost stock it just has a forge diverter valve and an oversized turbo intake pipe. I am looking to put together some videos on socials to record the restoration and modifications. Bodywork is fairly tidy a few carpark scuffs etc but that will be fixed as well. Virtually no rust on her, I'll be sure to add you on Instagram 😆

Because 'i bought a wagon' doesnt sound as good. Also some insanity comes from the fact that it doesnt look as powerful as it is... aswell as many things mentioned in the video! 3:57
