There's a Syrian show that makes fun of society basically, and in one episode a guy was filming another guy who was attempting and kept saying things like "don't do it" while being live and when he convinced him, he still kicked him to d€ath so that he could get more views.
When I saw the episode at first, I thought it was a bit exaggerated, but now I think it's becoming more and more accurate.

The other topic is racism. Racism is a huge problem of reels because comments always be saying the n word which is so embarrassing bc when I clicked there pfp there either Hispanic, white, Asian. The other topic is disrespecting other religions. It also comes to a point where others disrespect each other religions because they comment on a religion post and say hurtful words to the religion. Society is becoming normalized this a lot which comes to a point where they don’t know how to keep there mouth shut as well because if you don’t have nothing nice to say then just don’t say it because it can hurt the other persons feelings but of course they don’t care. IMO, mommy vloggers are WORSE because there's literally zero laws to try to protect minors in social media content. The fact that child stars experienced that level of abu$e WITH legal protections should highlight just how problematic the *lack* of laws for minors on social media is. It seems by the time the law does get involved, it's only after irreversible trauma and extreme abuse gets exposed....

I support the TikTok banned because of
    1. Lack of privacy. People literally go out of their way harassing and recording people for CONTENT. Pranksters, those annoying positivity channels, bullying, clout chasing by rage baiting or being inappropriate in public, doxxing because someone on TikTok is a “victim”, scamming for money ofc, people literally spilling too much of their business online; unnecessary.
    2. Misinformation being shared online.
    3. The influences to be a degenerate for the sake of becoming a content creator similar as them. Because negative attention is positive attention. Especially when it’s advocated to leave your current job just to be a TikTok creator.
    3. Short time span. I will admit I like TikTok because it has videos that’s straight to the point however it does affect people and children time span where they can’t sit and listen to long videos because of the time length.
And lastly 4. Other countries banned it or their content platform is different from the US platform. Why in china it’s promoted to be educated, well mannered, and whatever that brings a positive influence to the people of china to improve their economy but yet America is the complete opposite. Please good bye

Since TikTok people all over the world inspired and supported each other to stand up against their governments. Yes this was also happening before TikTok on Instagram, Facebook etc. However not in such a big way and so frequently as on TikTok. Since Facebook and Instagram are owned by U.S company the government can use the data collected from citizens by these companies.

There is the widely known censorship issue at play, but let's be real and balanced: If it's not banned over here, the U.S. wouldn't have allowed it to exist to this day. Tik Tok is intentionally designed to be a non-Chinese only version of Douyin to comply with U.S. security standards by putting its servers in Singapore and making sure there's no overlapping of Chinese censorship and U.S. national security "jurisdictions."
And again it still baffles me why it's specifically African American UA-camrs that are getting way more keen on banning Tik Tok and cancelling China these days (and white republicans are stereotypically like that so that's out of the conversation) -- maybe it's the algorithm for me ...

exactly. the influencer was the true aggressor here but made herself the victim and ruined these girls’ lives. they should’ve been more mature in how they reacted and maybe the video never would have been posted if they had a genuine talk after the cameras went off but ultimately, you can’t just film strangers in public and expect not to get flack for it. it’s ignorant and reeks of entitlement to think that you just do that to other people without any negative consequences. play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. the influencer also seems to be a couple years older than them which makes her look even more ridiculous for letting two teenage girls get to her and making a spectacle out of it bc she wanted the attention of being a victim.

They could’ve asked her to turn the camera off rather than just doing that extra shit. I just don’t believe that influencer was made as self conscious by them as she made it out to be in the video she posted cause you are LITERALLY recording yourself in ‘public’ to put out to a more public platform…. Which she still decided to post even after “feeling insecure”. Doxxing home addresses needs to be a federal offense.

I had a colic baby, I could have NEVER filmed like that mom did 💀 I was so exhausted, depressed, not looking as good as her that’s for sure lol. We had NO time to set up a camera or anything, that baby was SCREAMING AND CRYING. So recording it was definitely the last thing in our minds. Props to her for doing it and spreading the word but I literally think: how.

If you think about it, people have watched other people being humiliated or even executed in public and that was considered entertainment as well. We look back into the past and ask ourselves how people could be so cruel.
The legislation has changed, but not us as humans.
People like to feel better than others, if somebody acts out, it basically affirms our sense of superiority.

Wouldn't it be nice if people could just put their phones down and live life?
    It's practically the zombie apocalypse.
Like people today can't seem to do the smallest thing without documenting it...
If you absolutely insist on documenting every minute detail of your day, at least have some respect for those out in public who have no choice but to be around you. Like for myself I want to be able to go to the gym or go shopping or go to an event without having some stranger recording me for their socials.
Also you really need to do some work on yourself if your self-esteem is so low that you have to set up cameras at the gym and hope somebody will look at you for more than a millisecond so you can show everyone that you're so hot people stare at you...
I'm just so glad I got to grow up before everyone became add/i/cted to social media and their phones.
The worst part is some people can't even manage to drive from point a to point B without being on the phone. Like who cares about everyone else's life right?. 🙄

I wouldn’t want to be filmed because I have a crazy ex who has threatened to kill me multiple times, and I have moved and changed my phone number and done many things to make sure he can’t find me. I think they do need to be "mean" though if an adult man is continuing to film them after they've made it clear that they're uncomfortable with it. They're teenagers, so they're going to fuck with him instead of being like "hi sir, I know you're legally allowed to film us in public, but we're asking you out of personal respect to please stop filming us." Saying no to men isn't safe, but messing up their shot is better than submitting. I support them being "mean".

I'm surprised the women did not sue her filming them. A stadium is technically private property. It's not public property.
Also if you film someone and accuse them of something (ie monkeypox), they can sue you for defamation as well as the platform.
I'm surprised all these content creators as well as Tik Tok hasn't been brought down quickly by lawsuits.
This is likely one of the many reasons Tik Tok is going to be banned. It's not well regulated.
