@@qanderson I bet it hasn't neck drive and its weight is not more than an ordinary 6 strings bass they used hevy bubinga for body and high quality light maple for neck.

My 6 string set cost more than that (AUD), even up to $140 depending on the set. 9 could push it to $200

Fantastic craftsmanship, und highest quality, but I played a 8-string guitar once and that thing was already silly to the brink of being unusable, I can't imagine trying to play this.
Unusable my ass. They have more use than a traditional 6 string.
This will be the new 4 string bass of the future.....no more of the comment that Jaco only needed 4 strings.....

It has plain strings. Does that even count as a bass? This bass looks top notch but there is something not very bass like when you see plain strings!
The whole bass looks fantastic! Only thing I'd possibly change is the neck. Looks too glossy for my liking. But otherwise pretty sweet looking!

Same here! On Warwick’s website, it seems like you can contact them for a price (or something to that effect), although it’s definitely expensive and I’m not sure if that means they’ll make another or not.
Yes, you can contact us for a price at info@warwick.de at any time. It will of course vary depending on what your wishes for a premium custom instrument are. Anything is possible, that includes re-builds as well.
