    You started to show the differences between them and something i noticed was the battery, 10:42 the S22 was 65% and the S24 was 46%, at the end of the video it is 10:52, almost exactly 10min later, the S22 battery was at 61% and the S24 at 45%, this is a massive difference, i have a S22 (SD8GEN1) and after the One UI 6 update the phone got a little smoother, but at the cost of battery life, i now have to charge one more time during a day with a harder usage of my phone, i bought mine about a year ago and i'm already planning on getting the S24 or the S24+ just because of the battery life that turned out to be trash now on mine, kinda disappointed

    • @madcapper6
      @madcapper6 11 місяців тому +4

      Yeah the Gen 3 chipset is significantly more efficient and runs cooler than the Gen 1 so you'd definitely be going next level on that with the S24. From what I understand the bigger improvement was from the Gen 1 to the Gen 2 but there's also a measurable difference between the Gen 2 and the Gen 3 as well.
      Were you able to get in on the pre-order deal offered by Samsung? I was able to get the S24+ with the free storage upgrade for $459 mainly because they are giving me $550 for my S22+ on trade-in, which is actually $100 more than what I paid for it on Amazon Renewed. Might be too late now but if you haven't already, I'd definitely look into it.

    • @madcapper6
      @madcapper6 11 місяців тому +3

      Just checked and the pre-order deal is over but they are still offering $450 on an S22 towards an S24 assuming the screen's not cracked or anything so you can still get the S24 128g for $249.99 or the 256g for $309.99.

I have finally chnaged the battery myself and upgraded the battery to 4500Mah compared to the 3500mah. Am getting around 8-9 hours on heavy usage with 5g 120 frames it's amazing. The S22 will get 5 years of support and updates, and if my S9+ is anything to go by (which I'm typing this comment on) there will be no problems with having the S22 for a minimum of 5 years. Saying it won't last long with absolutely no justification is rather disingenuous. I've used the battery saver feature (stops charging at 80%) since Day 1 and my battery is fine. Besides, between home, the car, and my office, I'm never far away from a charger anyways.

      @vertviger 11 місяців тому +7

      The battery is not as big a problem as they shout about it on UA-cam. I have been using the S22 for over half a year now. In the morning, my phone is charged at 80 percent, after 8 hours I return home and I have 60 percent on my phone. This is despite the fact that I used UA-cam, Google, managers, etc. That is, the charge is easily enough for a day. I returned home, put it on wireless charging and the phone charged up to 100 percent in 1.5 hours. What is more stressful in terms of charge is games. 20 minutes in the game and -10 percent charge. But this is not such a problem. I'm talking about games that are very demanding on the processor, for example PUBG Mobile. Take the green s22, you won't go wrong. This is a great and very nice phone.

      if youre used to samsung, definitely go with another samsung phone. ios and iphones in general are lacking way too many features that samsung has had for years. if you have used iphones before and are fine with having less features, thats another good option too. ios is far more basic, which isnt a bad thing, but it could feel like a huge downgrade if youre coming from android/one ui.

      one thing about the case for the s22 it can fit however the buttons are different but you can use it for the time being untill you get a new 24 case.

    Is the fingerprint sensor better? I think all sensors these days have been crap, I've tried Pixel 8, Pixel 8a, Galaxy S22 and all are absolute dog sh!t I'm using a 7-8 year old Hoor p10 with a separate fingerprint senson and I can't update to a new phone because sensor is so good versus this "new tech" that it puts them to shame. Just cannot get used to the crap sensors they are using thse days on everything. It's real bad people. Most have forgotten how good they we're so they are used to this new crap. I just can't.

      @jessiewells3128 After I have been using it since I wrote this comment, it's definitely an upgrade. It's much faster, and the battery is 100 times better and a little bigger. The aluminum frame just makes it lighter, which is nice in the pocket.

      @jessiewells3128 I did it on samsung website which they are still going good trade in deals. I'm sending my s22 in today since I am happy with the s24. It's definitely worth it. 💯

      When was it the last time you saw anyone using a phone for over 3 years? I've never used any phone without a case, never broke/ dropped a phone, yet i always replace them after 3-4 years, because they'll get slower even with formatting regularly, and mainly because the battery will lose ability to hold charge.. Doesn't matter if they'll give a 10 year support if companies can't make a battery that lasts longer or bring back replaceable batteries
