Tuner is trying to work on that now. But I honestly believe the trans is too far gone

Could you use a 6f55 instead of the 6f35? The 6f55 is a much better transmission that is used to taking tons of power.
Naw. The 6f55 is made for the awd 2.7 fusion. It would take alot of modications to fit for fwd

Interesting. In my opinion it’s definitely not making enough power to stress the transmission to failure. Especially an automatic. Your transmission is fine bro. Unless it’s making 600hp and you’re launching it thus killing your 1st and 2nd gear, it’s fine. The issue is your transmission tuning. If you wanna get the revs up faster you need more psi in your turbo or you need cams. Personally I wouldn’t mod a Fusion. You’re spending a lot of money on a car that wasn’t made to be fast. I’d sell it and get an Elantra N or 4 Series if you like sedans. Hell, even the Mazda 6 is a really nice car.
I know it’s a hobby and I’m not ripping on your build but I’ve been in your situation and I learned my lesson. Just keep it reliable and don’t keep modding it so you can actually sell it one day.
yeah the elantra n is surprisingly good. its not really gonna win drag races or anything but on back roads that thing is _quick_

No thanks. Fusion been paid off for 5 years not looking to buying a 26k N. Once I get everything the way I want it it'll be fine. You must of never heard of a fiesta st 1.6 with the same exact motor. I would love an N but just don't wanna mod the banks car haha
