- The lake levels have been dropping in Lake Travis due to an intense drought. These low lake levels have exposed fossils, ruins from the 1930's and other amazing features....The lake levels are now low enough to where we will walk from Mansfield Dam Park all of the way to the end of sometimes island discovering what we can find along the way.

Sorry I’m late to your channel but I appreciate your work! I took my check out dive in 1976 at the park. It was called LCRA park back then. Cannot remember how many dives I’ve made in Lake Travis (and Canyon). We had a home for 15 years at mile marker 26 and sold it 2 years ago. It was a great lake to dive, live, boat and camp. However with the influx of so many people and the selling off of the water it now hurts my heart to think about it. We seen it when the levels were at 613’ and then a powerful storm moved in and we saw from our porch at 703’. Thanks for the memories!🤠

Pretty cool Scott! Reservoirs are pretty neat place to explore. We have one here in NY, The Sacandaga Reservior. It actually has a village under it back from when they flooded the valley. I haven’t dove it yet. It would be cool to some day! There’s a church tower that becomes visible when the water lowers during the summer.

Am under the impression that the extremely low water level is a combination of drouth and over pumping for municipal water. To much urban development.

As a video creator and a producer of all of my content I did not learn about audio ducking until a couple months ago. It helps take the music lower when one is speaking and once you stop speaking the music goes back to the tone that you put it. Very helpful
