I think it's very fitting that Aquarien is larger than everyone else because the ocean covers about 70% of the earth's surface, and as katherine said herself, creatures can grow to incredibly large sizes in the ocean. Also i absolutely love this doll and they make my little nonbinary heart very happy!
I have no doubt she's gonna do that at some point but hopefully she'll take a break and do something a bit more simple for the next one lol. If she wants to keep making crazy stuff then she definitely can tho.
When you were cradling the doll in your arms during final assembly I was like "That's the size of a cat... Giant" but some how still was not prepared for the height difference in the group shot.

I love how they could be something like older sibling to every other dragon doll (except for Terra, she's dragon mama) but not that grumby type of older sibling but this cool that takes you to colour festival in Thailand, pays for your donuts and will run away with you from police but if you cry they'll be there for you and I love them even more with every second

i’m just gonna ramble for a bit. she was anxious about the doll being “too long” NONSENSE!! i absolutely love the lanky enby sea creature. outside of their environment they seems out of place and too long. but being around coral, seaweed, other oceanic flora. they would blend in so well! a creature who seems to be able to swim fast and over whelm prey with their “longness” they would be a beautiful predator, and is definitely my favorite of the dragon series

ngl, i was skeptical when she said which colour palette had been chosen but it actually turned out AMAZING and i love how it looks really different to the other ocean-themed dolls she’s done! 💕
The colors turned out quite diffrent from the concept art as they have more corally feeling to them in the doll and there is more blue. (thankfully, because the concept art was just a mess)
As a sculptor of ball jointed dolls myself I'm impressed! You managed to make it very posable and overall extremely expressive, that's genuinely hard to pull off, so it's an amazing first try in my book!

And then you make a new one and I remember how hard you work on these dolls and how much effort you put into each and every one. And why it takes so long to make. Honestly with the quality, love, & effort that she's putting into these dolls she's pumping them out pretty quick! In my opinion would probably take me a few months to get a doll of that quality done. ((Then again she's more used to making dolls than me, and my skill level would have to increase quite a bit before I could get started for reals )) Regardless she still does pop these out rather quickly for how hard she works on em.
Bro am I the only one in awe right now? Like how do you go from a plain muscular blonde doll to a beautiful, unique, gender neutral, lanky and tall, pastel rainbow tie die sea creature with a tail that bigger that the said doll itself??? Like I cannot fathom the amount of detail that you have put into this one doll. From making custom limbs to full ball joint creation with extra articulated joints and the details like the little fabric flippers between the fingers to the giant tail and articulated ears, not to forget that she went the extra mile and painted watered down paints on the tail just to match the doll, I think it's safe to say that this woman obviously deserves alot more recognition.
I like how humble she is. She never brags or boasts about being a professional or expert, and acknowledges the greater skill levels others may have without comparing her work to theirs in a negative way.

And then you make a new one and I remember how hard you work on these dolls and how much effort you put into each and every one. And why it takes so long to make. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s a reason you’re my favorite doll artist. And it’s because some how you manage to make each and every doll better then the last. Honestly with the quality, love, & effort that she's putting into these dolls she's pumping them out pretty quick! In my opinion would probably take me a few months to get a doll of that quality done. ((Then again she's more used to making dolls than me, and my skill level would have to increase quite a bit before I could get started for reals )) Regardless she still does pop these out rather quickly for how hard she works on em.

Like how do you go from a plain muscular blonde doll to a beautiful, unique, gender neutral, lanky and tall, pastel rainbow tie die sea creature with a tail that bigger that the said doll itself???
Like I cannot fathom the amount of detail that you have put into this one doll. From making custom limbs to full ball joint creation with extra articulated joints and the details like the little fabric flippers between the fingers to the giant tail and articulated ears, not to forget that she went the extra mile and painted watered down paints on the tail just to match the doll, I think it's safe to say that this woman obviously deserves alot more recognition.

When I first watched this 2 years ago I didn’t even realize that this dragon was enby until I read the comments just now and realized they are! And that makes me so happy to see representation in dolls especially since I’m an enby myself :)
Also a ton of people correcting people in the comments when they misgender Aquarien is making me very happy :) I’ve seen a bunch of comments asking what gender Aquarien is or if they call Aquarien a he people correct it. it’s good to know that people are even being respectful to a doll

this is still my favorite dragon of the series. Aquarian is so unique, and I'm in love with the bright colors and inhuman body shape. I also love how they're the most inhuman of the group (maybe it's the fins, maybe the colors, or maybe the lack of hair lol), truely giving "creature" haha
