I had a lot of fun making this doll. And now we have twice the fairy goodness! :D I actually wanted to give this doll a cute Korean name to match with Iggy's, but the word for mushroom is 'bosot (버섯)'... yeah, not very pretty sounding. Also, turns out I have a Headmistress Bloodgood doll that I totally could have used the body for!! Ahhhh

honestly i love the fact that amanita and iggy dont have identical skintones, most companies when making poc siblings just do identical skintones when there is possibility for variation
yes nearly every family ive seen has different skin tones between each member, even if its just undertones and such. its always weird to see fictional families all be the same shade of brown when thats rarely how it is in actual life :,3

I love the little detail of making her palms a lighter color (at least from what I can see). It really adds realism to the doll and makes me so happy to see!
I’ve rewatched this video so many times I probably could quote the voiceover word for word. Dollightful’s videos are a really good auditory stim for me- her cheerful voice and boppy background music are so soothing, and her work is infinitely inspiring.

to save the last inch of glue in a bottle of fabri-tac glue, you can add a bit of acetone to it to thin it out a bit. Fabri-tac glue is acetone-based, so this won't inhibit its adhesiveness.
unraveled acrylic yarn for curly doll hair looks so pretty every time! such a great texture, i cant imagine being able to do curls that fine by hand.

I think one of my favorite things out the doll is her boots they feel so handmade almost like she made them herself which I think would actually be really cool as for say a story for her is that all those bottles that she has she collects fire flies and butterflies and watches them grow and loves making her own clothes and bags and tools I don’t know this just came up in my mind on the spot.

I got a little short idea I can think that Amanita takes great pride in her hair she doesn’t want to cut it which also means she can’t fly around as she could. When she does fly it’s hard for her because she hasn’t flew in awhile and iggy is there to help her big sis out

What are follicles?
Basically they are the tiny holes on your head that grows hair. They are extremely small so much so that you can’t see them without special equipment.
