I started running literally two weeks ago. I'm 34. I always said I hated running and couldn't do it. One of the first things I did was a running gait test. It only cost 15EUR, and I got the shoes that were exactly what I needed. We also checked my posture, stride, and basic running form which is super important for a beginner. I can't recommend this test enough.

Loved this video. I have the same issue with my glute med and tfl as well, came on when I was running and had issues now with it for years. Have you found anything that's helped?
Which bra and shorts are you wearing? Also when it comes to sizes i cant find the right pair? Would you say these are your normal size or a size down? Thank you
Glute medius not firing. I hope you read this as my GM wasn't firing after a car crash, and I tried everything to get it going. In the end what worked was shorts with the electro muscle firing pads in. Cant remember what they are called, but it worked and stopped my pain.
I have seen others comment something similar on other videos- can you elaborate on the reasons to avoid this particular company, please? Genuinely interested in the reasons, thanks 😊
Why would I not promote something I’ve used for over a year? It’s worked for me and I find it comfortable to use. Each to their own! But I prefer having my therapy online / message / video because it makes me more confident, it’s hard enough to even share about therapy so please be kind 🙏🏻
The thing I'd add to your Tip #1: 𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙊𝙇𝙀𝙎 Dont overlook this. I wish I had someone to emphasize how important getting insoles that fit your feet &/or "fix" your problems -- for ex, mine is Plantar fasciitis -- Yes, find shoes that fit your feet, but then immediately get better insoles too = gamechanger! & yes to emphasizing SLOW(ER) runs to get started. Build a solid foundation FIRST & then build from there.
