Lovely looking breakfast there, you’re right there is no steadfast rule as what you should eat and when. Working nights I eat my dinner at random times. At least they explained why the temple banned women, but have seen it now and like the others was breathtaking. Thailand certainly seems a magical place.

I'm 100% with you on the what and when food debate, eat what you fancy no matter what time of day. There has been a conditioning in the UK for many a few years now that we should eat toast, cereal or fry up for breakfast, and certain other things for lunch and evening meal. Rip up the rule books and do what the hell you want.

That’s not sticky rice, sticky rice ( kaew neaw, sounds like cow ne ow) wouldn’t break apart, you should ask for kaew pad which is like egg fried rice with chopped pork , Thai omelette are normally just plain unless it states on the menu
