The curved arch,, Is that one piece or four? And the plans for hurricane straps ? Both the curved element and the rafter element are dependent upon out thrust. Will there be flying buttresses installed? You saying the timber trusses were added after the plans, makes sense. I did not see what they bear on. They cannot bear on a conventional 2X framed floor,,, 2X10s shrink as they age and dry.
Beautiful Trusses The first truss you guy's hung , The post was over the edges of the deck , Do you have finished views ? I imagine stone or some other structure came under the bottom of the post .
Superbly done, the The craftmanship is top notch , well done SIr. However and I mean no disrespect As a European I have to ask why do american build in wood please ? It is very rare here in the EU.
