THAI STREET FOOD in Hua Hin | 60+ years KLUAI TOD + Delicious Green CURRY

- First in a sleepy little fishing village for street food and that failed, haha .
So I went north of Hua Hin, to a place that became famous for their noodles, but I heard that the green curry steals the show. The appetizer did its job and held me over. The actual green curry was beautifully balanced with all those Thai flavors.
Next, I went for some fried up snacks from ladies that have been frying them up for over 70 years!!!!
I kept the roti theme going for today as next up I got a murtabak chicken roti which was nice, but the sweet roti with the sweet and condensed milk really won me over!
A perfect road side stall selling one of my favorite little snack dishes, kanom jeen with different types of curries! The main reason I love these stands so much is becuase you get all the veggies you could ever imagine!
Lasty, a pork steamed bun from a lady that seems to have gathered a massive following over the years. After taking a bite though, it all makes sense. Savory, sweet, and a big kick of pepper kept me going back for bite and bite.

You missed out on a very nice restaurant when you were at the fishing village. If you kept walking and followed the road up the small mountain and go all the way to where it ends . Restaurant sits on the edge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely beautiful view and food .

Hello Max in Hua Hin. Looking and seeing the view with your eyes. Nice place. Now breakfast of chicken curry recommended. Some heat for the appetizers that crunch was mouth watering. By the way, man in black can’t spot splashes.😁😁😁. The dessert looks so good...yummy. Dang, I felt the heat in my mouth when you bit into those green chili 😅😅😅. Wow great blog Max.

Where you heading next Max? I'm heading back to Thailand soon for a month (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pai, Koh Chang) and then heading onto Vietnam for a few weeks (Hanoi, Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Vietnam). So pumped! I think about the food all day, especially looking forward to returning to Prachak Roast Duck and Wattana Panich Beef Noodles in Bangkok, I'd highly recommend checking these spots if you haven't already ;)

OMG, Max you meant to use chili sauce not fresh chili with the chicken murtabak. Please go easy on the chili as it is known to stunt one's growth and hence you only see short Indonesians and Indians. The other known side effect is that it is known as an aphrodisiac. Not sure it is any help as you do not seem to settle down in one place. You know what I meant, in the West, anything that the Westerners do not understand why the Asian eat, they think it is for the aphrodisiac effect and that includes rice.

I watched many of your videos and was surprised by something.
You choose food that is similar to local Thai people.
Which is different from other videos of foreigners.
They tend to choose only strange foods.
Many times it is not a popular food that Thai people really eat.
If you can speak Thai I probably think that you are Thai.
Or not, you probably have a very good knowledge of Thai food.
That is the only thing I am missing. I do not speak the language, but only a little bit! Glad to hear I picked the correct foods!
30 years from now people will say "Lets head over to Pancake / Prata Mcfarlin in Arkansas!!! You've set up your own stall after years of travelling and sell pratas with curries that are a mix of Malay, Thai, Chinese, Indian, your whole family is helping out at your stall with photos of all your travels!!! Pancake Mcfarlin people... Hahaha 😝😝😝😝😝
