Days Before Devastating Flooding - Thailand Motorbike Tour Episode 8

This video was recorded just 4 days before devastating flooding hit the Northern region of Thailand in Chiang Khan and Nong Khai. I had no idea that I was literally staying just days ahead of the storm on most of the Northeast Thailand motorbike tour. Join me as I take you to see magnificent views of the Mekong river from a glass skywalk in Chiang Khan. We then continue on towards Nong Khai. My plan was to spend a few days in Chiang Khan, but due to a mapping error (on my part) I completely missed the whole town. I had no idea how fortunate I was that I made that mistake as I literally escaped the flooding zones just a couple of days before the devastation hit. Nong Khai was a great place for me to relax for a few days, check out the lengthy boardwalk, a small night market, and some great local restaurants. My condolences to all the people who lost their lives or their loved ones during this flooding in the northern part of Thailand.
