Ông Max này đỉnh hơn cả người VN nữa vì ổng biết những nơi mà người VN còn chưa biết. Cuối cùng thì người VN muốn ăn gì ngon phải xem ổng mới chính xác :))
tui cũng xem ổng, tiệm nào gần nhà tui cũng đi ra ăn thử =))))) công nhận là mấy quán đó cũng ok thiệt nha, ko ngon xuất sắc nhưng mà có thể quay lại ăn khi thèm những món đó

Vietnamese not really hard when u understand how the symbols work.
we read from left to right, so:
" / " means your voice goes up as u enunciate the word.
" \ " mean go down.
" . " mean drop the word like making deeper voice.
" ? " and " ~ " are similar sound, most Vietnamese would understand if u don't differentiate the sound, and sound as u see up then down right away.
if u want to actually sound the " ~ " then just add up again at the end of the sounding, so up, down, and up.
? and ~ imo just remember how to sound 1 or 2 word(s) with them and u can do the rest

@@Tokyo1991-rẻ mà tào lao ko chất lượng ko an toàn người ta vẫn sẽ ko quay lại. Thiếu gì chỗ rẻ đồ ăn ngon để đi. Như bên Ai Cập, văn hoá các kiểu mà cứ lừa lọc và nhiều yêu râu xanh nên khách du lịch truyền miệng nhau rồi cũng ế thôi. Châu Âu đẹp nhưng đồ ăn ko đa dạng với mau ngán, đi cho biết vậy thôi.

I first tried this dish in Vung Tau and immediately became hooked. I like the one with meat in it. There’s a good restaurant that serves it next to turtle lake in Saigon

@@carot7133bạn ở Gò Vấp thì đi Lê Quang Định quẹo phải là Tăng Bạt Hổ. Hỏi nhà làm Chả Lụi là người ta chỉ vô hẻm nhỏ đó. Có cái nhà cũng nhỏ để xiên nem và chiên chả lụi đó là bạn đến đúng quán rồi. Nhà đó nhỏ lắm chỉ có người trong nhà làm không có thuê người ngoài làm nên ăn vào rất ngon. Đặc biệt là nước chấm và rau. Giá hợp lý

Hey Max! I'm a Vietnamese American from New Orleans (first generation). Haven't been to the mother country since I was a wee girl (I just turned 32 yesterday). Do you happen to have a list of some of your favorite places depending on the region of Vietnam? I plan to travel all over Vietnam but Saigon is definitely where I'll be spending most of my time. Would love to hear your opinions. (:
I'm Vietnamese from TX, welp moved to US 11 years ago, and still not travel the whole Vietnam yet.
IMO, Vietnam is small but packed with interested places to go, things to do, cultures to experiences.
1 trip won't be enough, maybe 1-2 trip(s) to know the differences of south, central, and north Vietnam. Then, pick one you like most and do a deep explore trip.
So, maybe 3 total :D

Max, I have tried to
learn Vietnamese for a long time. I live in Wyoming, there are not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants or people here, so unless I go to Salt Lake City or are traveling it doesnt happen. Would you ever consider putting the name of the dish on screen, in Vietnamese and English? It really helps me to understand at least a little, your English and Vietnamese are too fast for me, thanks, I really enjoy your videos

If you want a fairly small area, then I'd say got to Hoi An and Hanoi. Hoi An is very touristy and has lots of food there, plus Central food is loved by most people. The dishes he ate in this video originated from the Central region. Hanoi is another great choice because most vloggers run around in the Old Quarter. Go on food tours in Hanoi as I've seen some really great ones out of there. Check out videos from "Adventures of A+K", "Sammy and Tommy", "Mike & Ashley", etc.
