NOW I can finally pick up the Xancudo!!! I was that guy on the fence for a few years now! Love me some S35!! Thank you sir, for the info! Great stuff as always!! 🤘
Cool. Glad you liked it. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to leave a nice comment! I hope you enjoy your new knife and scales. Wish I could see which ones you get!
I put off pulling the trigger on fixed blade Xancudo over three years. I'm expecting it to come in today. I already wish I didn't wait. If it's too small I'll go Ashley Game Knife. RB 3 is awesome, but different and not a fixed blade EDC to me
I wear extra large work gloves. The Xancudo was a great size. I just hate the handle color and the sheath. But, was able to score some cool handles and came up with a fix on the sheath. Made a video about that. Something about the Ashley Game Knife I've just never been able to bond with. Had a handful in different configurations but nothing I wanted to keep.
I like the Blaze Orange on the ESEE 3 and 4. I actually have one of each. But, I also have them with other scales when I'm not traipsing around in the woods and don't need to be concerned with losing them.
I think I will try the xancudo again. I had one a while back and sold it but I don’t remember why, probably being dumb. I have a love/hate relationship with the White River Backpacker. Love the magnacut steel offering and blade shape but the choil digs into the finger when pushing hard. The xancudo scales should help
Just looked at the Backpacker and yep...I can see how that choil can be a bummer. I would definitely not like that one. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Nope, I did not mention. Since I really don't endorse anyone, I left that part out. If they were to catch on that I'm the same guy that keeps buying them from them, and they asked me to mention them, then I'd be happy to. But they do not put a brand on them.
Glad you liked the song. I had fun. Yes, I have used the PR4 and subsequently sold it. Although the handle looks cool, with all the texturing, it comes in rather thin. I put on custom scales and that helped. But, I never bonded with it and returned to the ESEE 3. For me, it does all that is needed.
@@knifetimestoryThanks for the reply I find the texturing uncomfortable with hard use, I'm ok with the thin handle although that could also be part of the problem with hard use.
Man, you're hilarious! Like, Canadian funny! Tom, you deserve WAY more subs than you have. Keep this up, and you will get there! 😁👍 Those scales are amazing. Sadly, I gave mine to a buddy. (Well, I'm not sad, because I gave it to a buddy....) And now I am going to put your birthday into my calendar and wish you happy birthday, stalker style, next year. (You're welcome. ) PS - both those knives are tiny.
Wow, thanks! I appreciate that. I do get very discouraged at the views. Oh well. I still have a good time. I would imagine that with your hands that yes...they would be all too small for you.
I actually messaged them and asked them if they would like me to mention them in a video I never heard back. If they don’t have the courtesy or even the energy to hit the reply button, then I don’t have the energy to promote them.

Mean while I’m over here converting my Esee’s over to the blaze orange scales 😂 .

@@knifetimestory for an edc for simple tasks it would be great. Maybe I’ll it for that. But first I’ll pick up the xancudo first for hiking
I think you have it completely figured out
You could probably dye those scales with rit dye.
Probably. But I prefer these new ones.
Did you mention where you got the scales and I just missed it? I'd love to pick some up too.

I have some Lucas scales for my Izula 2, he does good work..
Cool. Have him make them for the Xancudo. He will find himself very busy!!
Nice video, thanks for the song 👍😊
Have you used the esee pr4, if so what are your thoughts?

@@knifetimestory The PR4 is the only esee I own. Never really looked at the esee 3. The Xancudo looks very interesting to me.
But, more knives ? 🙈😊😊
Not sure what your purposes will be. But...I've found the 3 to be darn near perfect for just about everything and indispensable.
@@knifetimestory Thanks, it does look like a practical size knife.
😊

I would like to get ahold of you. Sorry for missing your message about the video!
My contact info is on my UA-cam page.
Good watch. I think I'm going try the Xancodo
Glad you enjoyed the video! The Xancodo is definitely worth a try-let me know how it goes!
Thanks for sharing your birthday with us. Could we also have the last four digits of your SSN? 😅😅 I'm just asking for a friend.
Sure thing. Let me find my card and I’ll take a picture and make it my thumbnail!!
👍🏻😂
Lol. Great video, though. Can the Xancudo ride in the pocket like an Izula can? Or is it too large??@@knifetimestory
In a pinch yes. But I'd not want to have to sit for any long period. You would definitely have to cut the end of the sheath off like I do though.
Clever.
I should have turned on Closed Captions for you!!!!
Any rapper would love to have this guy on their next track
Eminem has already been in touch.
👍 So, I hear you will soon be the opening act for Taylor Swift. Great song, well written, arranged, and performed.
Thank you very much. I appreciate that. I'll let you all know if their people get in touch with my people.
Great video! But, I'm also hard of hearing Lol
Ha ha ha. Watch it again and turn it up to 11!
