I love how the dev had to explain multiple times that this was not an asset flip and then like an hour after the game dropped players immediately found an asset pack with the game's entire city in it for $300
Games are incredibly time consuming and difficult to create. Reductive labels like "asset flip" distract from core issues of poor game design. Almost every game in existence has been built on previous work of others either in assets or fundamental engine plug-ins. Essentially, anything you have ever played could be called an asset flip. I'm not defending this game honestly I could care less I'm just pointing out there are valid and constructive criticisms that could be discussed but asset flip is the least productive.
@@Melatoninist the problem is is that they might be breaking early access TOS, there’s a steam review that lists every single flipped asset in the game, not to mention that the company was not incorporated until Oct 2021, and the trademark was filed for January 2022, which implies a much shorter development period.
Funniest thing about this game is how its supposed to be a zombie shooter but in like 2 hours of playing at most you would encounter 5 zombies,7 if ur lucky

It's honestly more of a 50/50 depending on the application of use. I work as a tire tech and a lot of customers just stick with pneumatic tires instead of solids due to cost (although solids are a better long-term investment since you'll never catch a flat)
The same thing happened with Fallout 76. If you geniuinely thought thay Fallout MMO with no npcs sounds dope you deserve to have your money stolen by Todd Howard.

The Day Before characters go to the gym wearing the same leather jackets and jeans they go scavenging in, with rifles and heavy backpacks still on, all with the same stiff movements and blank expressions.

I'll be honest. I'm kinda impressed this game actually came out. I was under the impression this whole thing was a kickstarter scam of some sort. They genuinely surpassed my expectations. Good job, guys!
